Abstract

The aim of social and economy development are the same on the basic, that is to create prosperity for people, although the angle of view and approach can different. The People economy empowering as an effort to overcome poverty is economic development that is as well as social development. The aim of this article is to analyze the problem. The result of research shows that poverty is a one of serious social problems. Strategic model of people’s economy empowering is only one of the best approach from economic side. The strategic model will be better if combine with approaching from another politic, culture, social-economy side. The result point that poverty arise coused by the existence of difference in capital and nature resource awnership also the lack quality of human resource. It means, that a poor society is poor because it is poor. Because of that, strategic model of people’s economy empowering by the reinforcement of local recource potencial is one of the best and fast strategy that can be utilized to overcome poverty.

Abstract

A source of company funds reflected through foreign capital and their own capital that was worn by the company. Jakarta islamic index is one stock index in indonesia who calculates an average price index stock for a stocks which satisfies the criteria of investment in by islamic syariah. Public companies of JII having financial concerns about the limitation debt, that is debt ratio. This limitation used to review whether there is significant influence of the debt and profitability to return of manufacturing firm in JII. The research approach that used is quantitative analysis by technical lines ( paths analysis ). The exogent variable that used is DER , while the endogent variable is return of stock and the intervening variable is ROE. The result obtained that DER influence significanly to ROE, ROE has no significant influence on Return of stock, and DER has no significant influence on return of stock.

Abstract

The objective of the study was to know the improvement of students’ motivation and achievement with Cooperative learning at Team Games Tournament (TGT) Model. The subject of study was IV grade students in SDN Sungapan, Bantul Games Tournament (TGT) Model in the teaching learning process. The steps of procedure in conducting the research were planning, implementation, observation via questionnaire, test, interview and field notes. Then, the data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. Descriptive analysis was used to describe the result of observation. The result of the research showed that there was improvement of students’ motivation and achievement on IV grade students of SDN Sungapan Bantul with Team Games Tournament (TGT) Model. At the beginning, the average of students’ motivation was 67.17% (average category), then it increased up to 73,35% (high category) on the 1st cycle, and rose to 80.75% (high category) on the 3rd cycle. Where as, students’ achievement at beginning was only 67.64 with classical completeness was 39.28%, and then increased up to 79.6 with classical completeness was 85.28% on the 2nd cycle. Based on the result above, it can be concluded that the implementation of Cooperative learning at Team Games Tournament (TGT) Model can improve student’s motivation and achievement on IV grade students in SDN Sungapan Bantul in learning Social Science.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to identify and seek answers through the establishment of community empowerment model in order to reduce unemployment and poverty.The research was conducted in District Dlingo Bantul, especially in the Village Muntuk. The method of research is conducted with sample survey methods, namely the households respondent sample of the poor and unemployed citizens voted in the village. Data analysis in this study is more designed in the form of qualitative descriptive analysis and SWOT analysis model. The study identified several strategic fundamental potential and central issues as the capital base in the formation of citizens empowerment model, namely: the still high social capital, productive work ethic, the local potential (bamboo handicraft business), technical factors, human capital, productive and entrepreneurial culture. Besides institutional characteristics and conditions of social, economic, cultural and political communities remain conducive and good interaction with various national and local government programs, so it can be a major contributing factor in the formation of community empowerment model in order to solve the problems of unemployment and poverty independently and sustainable. The existence of common perception of the strength and support of stakeholders from sub village, village and district to empower entrepreneurial culture of the residents. Thus, it is recommended the assistance and review of the action also further research and analysis. Assistance is needed only at the beginning of the establishment of the implementation of citizen empowerment model for more effective, efficient and easily applied of model implementation, so that in the future can be done independently and sustainable.

Abstract

The research is aimed at finding the dominan factors do develop the small-scale industry as an effortto the poor program to empower the society. By using the methodology participation action researh(PAR) involving the active participation of the society, Especially to the small craftsment to clarify theproblems and how find the solution. The collecting is done by using the method of simple randomsampling against 100 respondents sample of the small-scale industrial housholds. The result of thesurvey shows that skill factor and the marketing factor belong to the core variable. Which each of themhas the higest elasticity against the product to the amount of 0.4147 or 41,47% and 0.2517 or 25,17%.Accordingly, the recomendation to develop the small-scale industry as reflected on the increasingproduct, it is hoped to give priority to the skill factor and marketing factor then to the capital factor orother factor.Keywords: skill, marketing and capital factor to develop the small craftsment solution.

Abstract

This study is aimed to understand whether there are differences of student’s study achievement between the usage of jigsaw cooperative study model with the usage of team games tournament (TGT) study model, also to understand which one is more effective between both of two in the progress of student’s study achievement development. This research is quasi experiment. Free variable in the research is jigsaw cooperative study model and teams games tournament and as the bond variable is student’s study achievement. The population in the research are all of grade IV students of MBS Elementary School of Bantul Regency Year of Study 2010/2011, sample that used are grade IV students of Kembang Putihan Elementary School, Guwosari Elementary School and Sungapan Elementary School. In the research, there is 2 experiment class namely Jigsaw class which is treated with cooperative study of jigsaw and team games tournament (TGT) class which is treated with cooperative study of team games tournament (TGT). Method that used in the data obtaining are documentation, test, and observation, whereas data analysis uses t-test. The result of the research shows that cooperative jigsaw study model is more effective compared with the cooperative team games tournament (TGT) study model. It is shown with calculated t as much as 2,196 larger than t-table = 1,99 for a = 5%, it means there is study achievement’s differences between cooperative jigsaw study model with cooperative team games tournament (TGT) study at grade IV students of year of study 2010/2011. in the other side, based on the study achievement score of the students, it is shown that cooperative jigsaw study model have ability to give better student’s study achievement score with average score 80,82 higher than the usage of cooperative team games tournament (TGT) study model that is 75,05

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan sistem pemikiran (episteme) tentang wanita dalam trilogi novel Rara Mendut karya Y.B. Mangunwijaya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah arkeologi pengetahuan Michel Foucault. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa sistem pemikiran (episteme) tentang wanita dalam trilogi novel berupa: sistem pemikiran tentang wanita di mata penguasa yang diperlakukan seperti hiasan bahkan seperti benda mati tidak berjiwa dan harkat martabatnya tidak disentuh oleh pemikiran para petinggi kerajaan; sistem pemikiran tentang wanita yang selalu dikaitkan dengan kekuasaan dan kewibawaan bagi bangsawan Mataram pada waktu itu; dan sistem pemikiran tentang wanita dan kesaktian yang mempunyai keterkaitan sangat erat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang Dinamika Disonansi Kognitif Perempuan Muslim yang Tidak Berhijab. Studi kasusnya adalah Rina Nose, yang merupakan tokoh publik figur dan seorang perempuan yang sudah memakai jilbab tetapi melepas jilbabnya lagi. Analisis wacana yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis wacana Sara Mils, dimana Sara Mils membahas  tentang feminis yang termarjinalkan. Dan teori yang digunakan adalah teori Disonansi kognitif yaitu ketidaknyamanan diakibatkan oleh sikap, pemikiran, dan perilaku yang tidak konsisten. Teori ini sangat berkaitan dengan kasus Rina Nose karena Rina Nose tidak konsisten dalam memakai jilbab. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masih banyak perempuan muslim yang tidak menyadari perintah berhijab. Sedangkan perintah berhijab sudah ada dalam ayat suci Al-Qur’an

Abstract

ABSTRACT   This study aims to examine the model’s formation that can reduce the problem of unemployment and poverty. In accordance with these objectives,  there are several principal problems studied in this research that are; (1) how the approach to poverty reduction programs should be made, (2) how the potential of local institutions' resources are able to act as virtuous circles to reduce the poverty, (3) how the community empowerment model system based on the potential of local wisdom resources and institutions local communities should be conducted in order to be able to significantly reduce the number of local poor community, independent and sustainable. This research was conducted at Muntuk Village due to it is classified as a backward village and it still has the good local wisdom potential to be developed further. This research applies participatory research method to the craftsmen group chosen as pioneer in forming the community empowerment model. The main subjects in this research are; craftsmen group and socio economic community societies at Muntuk Village. The subjects of this study are determined by purposive sampling. Data collection techniques are done through interview, FGD, and analytical descriptive analysis. The result of the research shows that the link and the integration among the bamboo handicraft industry, the local institution’s role, the entrepreneurship spirit and the work ethic of the craftsmen group through the entrepreneurial skills development and social entrepreneurship culture are able to be a virtuous circle or the virtue circle to cut the poverty problem, more independent and sustainable, from the original still powerless to be powerful. The strengthening of empowerment model supported by the strength of human capital, social capital, and also citizens participate actively, were increasingly able to produce a form of community empowerment model. Furthermore, the empowerment model is more strongly built through six pillars namely; industrial structure, entrepreneurship spirit, human capital and social capital factors, local institution, infrastructure and conductive environment. All sub-systems in each of these pillars are interconnected in a system namely community empowerment system model through the development of an entrepreneurial culture to alleviate unemployment and poverty.
