Abstract

Diverse human needs require individuals, especially students, to manage their personal finances wisely. However, the increasingly ingrained hedonistic lifestyle among students has the potential to influence their financial behavior. This study aims to analyze the influence of a hedonistic lifestyle on students' financial management behavior. Students often have greater financial freedom after entering college, but also face challenges in managing their personal finances, especially with increasing access to consumptive consumption. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach. The results of the analysis show that a hedonistic lifestyle has a negative influence on financial management behavior, where students who tend to have a consumptive lifestyle show lower financial management skills. These findings are expected to be the basis for providing better financial literacy education for students.

Abstract

A company is a place where production activities occur and where all factors of production, both goods and services, gather. A manufacturing company is a business or industry that is constantly moving, has high economic value and can be used directly by consumers. Every worker or employee in a business entity or company has their own duties and functions that have been determined or agreed upon before starting work. The method used in this research activity uses a qualitative approach where this approach explores and understands the meaning of some individuals or groups of people originating from social problems (Creswell & Poth, 2018) whereas according to Schindler & Cooper (2013) Qualitative research is designed to tell researchers how (process) and why (meaning) something happens as it does. Abstract

Operations are defined as activities that manage production factors to create products to add value through the transformation process. However, to remain competitive in an increasingly dynamic market, e-commerce companies must optimize their operations, especially in logistics, inventory, and customer service management. This can be seen from the ease of people in meeting their needs, especially with the existence of modern markets around the community. The research method used is library research which focuses on collecting and analyzing secondary data from various relevant literature sources. In this context, the sources used include books, journal articles, research reports, and other related documents. Furthermore, the collected data is systematically analyzed to identify patterns, trends, and gaps in previous research. Operations management in e-commerce in Indonesia faces various complex challenges. One of the main problems is related to logistics and shipping. Inadequate infrastructure in various regions, especially in remote areas, causes long delivery times and significantly increased logistics costs. In addition, inventory management is also a significant challenge. Operational management of E-Commerce sales has several Structural Aspects or Regulatory Aspects, Operational Aspects, Operations Management Systems.

Research This study aims to determine the financial performance of PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk if in terms of profitability ratio analysis during 2019 - 2023. Object This research object is a company that focuses on the field of oil palm plantations. This research data, researchers took secondary data with the type of research descriptive quantitative research. Techniques in collecting data obtained from studies documentation of financial statements consisting of balance sheets and profit and loss by using profitability ratio analysis tools in the form of Gross Profit Margin. using profitability ratio analysis tools in the form of Gross Profit Margin (GPM), Net Profit (Net Profit), and Profitability Ratio (Profitability Ratio). Abstract

This study explores the role of creative industries in transforming Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia to increase competitiveness and innovation. MSMEs are important pillars in the national economy, but they face significant challenges in the era of globalization, such as increasing competition and limitations in resources and market access. The creative industry can act as a catalyst that helps MSMEs innovate and adapt their products and services to evolving market needs. This study analyzes the potential synergy between MSMEs and creative industries to generate added value through creativity, unique skills, and innovative approaches. The results of the analysis show that creative approaches enable MSMEs to strengthen their market position and make significant contributions to the national economy. The implications of these findings highlight the importance of government and related sector support in providing a conducive ecosystem for collaboration, access to technology, and capacity building. This study provides insights into relevant strategies and policies to promote the sustainability and growth of MSMEs through innovation integrated with the creative industry.

Abstract

Education is a barometer for the progress of a nation and the progress of a country or nation lies in its education. Managing Islamic educational institutions requires not only high professionalism, but also a mission of pure intention and strong mentality. Management of Islamic educational institutions requires two integrated aspects, namely the unification of the attitudes of managers and leaders who are characteristic of Islam. This study uses a type of library research or commonly called Library research, where the data in this study comes from various literatures, both physical data (books, magazines, newspapers, etc.) or online media. The research data obtained in this study were then studied using a theoretical and philosophical approach. According to Husaini Usman, the word management comes from Latin, namely the word manus which means hand and agere which means to do, the words are combined into the verb manager which means to handle and manager is translated into English in the form of the verb to manage which means to take care of, with the nouns management and manager for people who carry out management activities. Abstract

The paper aims to explain the Procedure for Extending Ship Construction Safety Certificates through the SIMKAPEL system at the KSOP Class I Dumai Office by PT. Samudera Sarana Karunia Dumai. The methods used in this research are field research (Field Research) and methods through library research (Library Research). The ship safety certificate extension process has been going well, starting with the shipping company appointed by the ship owner to carry out the safety certificate extension at the Dumai Class I Port Authority and Harbor Master's Office. Firstly, the agent attaches the complete documents or requirements needed in the application for the extension of the Ship Safety Certificate and inputs the requirements for the extension of the ship construction safety certificate through the shipping SIMKAPEL, then the KSOP officer receives the completeness and checks the requirements for extending the construction certificate ship and after the requirements are met and completed, the Dumai Class I KSOP officer will carry out an inspection of the ship while the ship is anchored or docked in the area Dumai Class I Port. After inspection and testing of the ship's seaworthiness by the Harbor Master's Office and the Dumai Class I Port Authority and the ship can be confirmed to be seaworthy, the SHSK will issue a ship construction safety certificate by the Dumai Class I KSOP Office.

Abstract

This research aims to thoroughly examine the process undertaken by PT. Pelayaran Karana Line Branch Belawan in handling the permit procedure for loading bulk dangerous goods, specifically in the Medan Belawan area. The process begins when the marketing department provides information about the upcoming bulk dangerous goods cargo to be loaded onto the ship. Subsequently, the operational team or external service prepares a request letter to be submitted to the relevant agency, namely the Belawan Main Harbor Master's Office. For each permit submission, there are fees that must be paid. These fees are deposited into the state treasury as Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP). PT. Pelayaran Karana Line Belawan, as a national shipping company, strives to build and maintain good relationships with related agencies. This is one of the strategies to ensure smooth handling of dangerous goods. In the permit processing procedure, document completeness is crucial. The required documents include a Permit Request Letter and a dangerous goods manifest. The completeness and accuracy of these documents are essential to ensure the permit processing proceeds smoothly and in accordance with applicable regulations.

This study aims to analyze the flow of use of the Indonesia National Single Window (INSW) for handling imported goods at PT. Samudra Shipping Agency, and analyze the effectiveness of the implementation of the INSW system at PT. Samudra Shipping Agency. This study explains the differences experienced before and after the INSW system is implemented. The research method used is qualitative descriptive research. The results of the study indicate that the Indonesia National Single Window (INSW) system is effective in helping the process of handling imported goods at PT. Samudra Shipping Agency. This is because the Indonesia National Single Window (INSW) system has a significant influence and overall its implementation at PT. Samudra Shipping Agency is in accordance with the objectives of the INSW system, namely to increase the speed of service and effectiveness of supervision, as well as the performance of all activities related to the flow of export and import goods and minimize the time and costs required in all handling activities for the flow of export and import goods, especially those related to the licensing process for the release of goods. This impact is felt by the acceleration of time and reduction of costs in the process of handling imported goods at PT. Samudra Shipping Agency which is illustrated through the statements of the parties who have been interviewed.

Abstract

Facing the increasing demand for notary and PPAT services, an effective management strategy needs to be designed to handle the surge in demand without compromising service quality. The digital era encourages the integration of technology and automation as a solution to enhance efficiency. This research aims to design a service strategy, focusing on improving service quality, effective communication, and refining the notarization process. Services are structured to meet the varied needs of customers, involving aspects of convenience, speed, personal interaction, skills, and friendliness.The Notary Office & PPAT Anita Mahdalena, SH, as a provider of legal services, becomes the object of the study. This program seeks to increase the visibility of the office through the development of an official website, leveraging social media, and strengthening the office's identity. The research methodology involves primary data from interviews and direct observations, as well as secondary data from external sources The research findings indicate that the implementation of the service strategy with the creation of an official website has increased transparency, trust, and information access. The distribution of souvenirs and ID cards helps strengthen positive bonds with customers and enhances security and employee identity. This program has successfully achieved the goal of improving a positive image and establishing long-term relationships with clients.
