Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the process of implementing the procedures for managing ship arrival and departure documents to facilitate loading and unloading procedures. PT. Seroja Jaya Agency, Kuala Tanjung branch, handles types of ships, such as Container vessels, Motor Tankers, Bulk Carriers, Tug Boats and Barges. The important role of operational agents is very influential in the smooth running of ship arrival and departure activities when docking, loading/unloading, and sailing. Preparation of notifications and management of arrival permits are the main tasks of the agency before the ship arrives and departs, known as clearance in and clearance out. Qualitative research type, data collection techniques with interviews, observations and documentation.

Abstract

Every company aims to achieve the greatest possible profit by considering the value of the benefits of its business activities. Profitability, which reflects the company's ability to generate revenue and profit, is one of the main aspects in evaluating the company's performance. Management, as the company's operational implementer, is responsible for the continuity of the operation. Management not only focuses on profit but also on how their business activities provide value to various stakeholders, as this can have a positive impact on the company's reputation and long-term sustainability. The results of the study show that the revenue aspect shows positive results. This revenue growth is influenced by successful market expansion, product diversification that attracts more consumers, and digital marketing strategies that increase brand visibility and customer engagement. The company's financial performance based on the cost aspect shows efficient management. Despite an increase in total operating costs, the cost-to-income ratio shows a stable trend, indicating that the company has succeeded in controlling costs without sacrificing efficiency and based on the profitability aspect shows a significant increase in gross profit and net profit. This increase in profitability reflects efficiency in managing operating costs and effective taxation strategies.

Abstract

This research analyzes the relationship between work compensation and employee performance, highlighting how providing adequate compensation can influence motivation and job satisfaction. Using a literature review approach, this article explores the theories of work compensation and the factors that influence employee performance. The results show that compensation plays an important role in improving productivity, motivation and job satisfaction. A fair, competitive, and performance-based compensation strategy is proven to increase employee loyalty and commitment to the organization. This article confirms the importance of strategic compensation design to support organizational sustainability and increased competitiveness in the labor market.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the cognitive bias behavior of investment managers by analyzing behavioral finance which is characterized by sometimes rational and irrational decision making so that it has an impact on investor confidence in investment managers in terms of analyzing online gold trading at PT Valbury Asia Futures Yogyakarta Branch. This type of research the writer uses descriptive qualitative method using primary data as a reference obtained from observations and interviews with investment managers. Primary data is a collection of information that can be processed from research sources whose data is obtained directly from the original source. The sample or respondents in this study were 4 investment managers who led the marketing division. The variable studied, namely Behavioral finance, leads to the irrational behavior of investment managers towards their decision making. This behavior can be of various kinds, such as: heuristic, overconfidence, mental accounting, framing, representative, conservative and disposition effects. Based on the results of the analysis on the financial behavior of managers, there are factors that cause their behavior to be irrational by using personal opinions, excessive self-confidence, selfishness, the nature of the gambling method, individualism, and hasty in making transaction conclusions.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of finding out the impact of social media use on student academic productivity and how to overcome dependence. This type of research is a qualitative research with an interview method. With a data collection technique carried out through direct conversations between researchers and respondents, the purpose of this interview is to obtain deeper and more detailed information. The most widely used social media are whatsapp, Instagram, tiktok, youtobe, facebook, blogger and twitter. Students tend to get bored when they don't use social media because each social media has advantages that make its users. The intensity of social media use averages more than 4 hours a day and the medium used to access the social media is a smartphone. The impact of social media students use social media to get information about knowledge, tips and tricks for learning that make it easier to do assignments so as to support their achievements. The way students can overcome learning dependence on social media is by managing or managing time well, limiting the use of social media, increasing activities outside so that they minimize opening social media, by turning off notifications so that they can focus on doing assignments or other things that are being done.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how much promotion and product quality affect the purchasing success of khimaruti.store consumers. This research method uses a quantitative method. This population and sample were taken from 900 khimaruti.store consumers using the slovin method. So far, data was obtained for 90 respondents. The data collection technique was carried out by observation and questionnaire. The data collection technique was carried out by observation and questionnaire. The results of this research are known that the variable Promotion (X1) Towards Consumer Purchase Decision (Y) was obtained with a value of r calculation t > t table of 10,720 > 1,988. So the hypothesis that states that Promotion has a positive and significant effect on Consumer Purchase Decisions. In the variable Product Quality (X2) to Consumer Purchase Decision (Y) of khimaruti.store product with a value t calculated > t table of 14,872 > 1,988.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of the work environment and work discipline on employee performance at PT. Yasmin Amanah Media. This research uses quantitative methods by distributing questionnaires to 42 employees and the data is analyzed using validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, hypothesis tests, and coefficient of determination tests with the help of the SPSS version 25 application. The results of the research show that the work environment and work discipline are together have a positive and significant effect on employee performance with an R Square value of 0.572 which indicates 57.2% or 57% (value after rounding). A safe and comfortable work environment and good work discipline can achieve employee performance that is as expected by the company.

Abstract

Based on various literatures, reward can be understood as an award or reward given by an organization to its members, either in the form of financial, nonfinancial, or psychological material. This study aims to determine the influence of Reward and Punishment on Employee Performance of PT Ruijin Trade Indonesia. The data collection method for this study is the interview and questionnaire method, and the data analysis uses quantitative analysis. Based on the results of the T test that was conducted, the sig value was 0.014 from the T table value of 2.037, it was concluded that Punishment had a partial influence on employee performance. Based on the results of the F test conducted, the sig value is 0.000 the F table value is 4.149, so it is concluded that Reward and Punishment have a simultaneous influence on employee performance. Based on the results of the determination coefficient test (simultaneous) it shows that it is concluded that Reward and Punishment have an effect of 80%, while 20% is influenced by other variables that are not studied.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the influence of Work Discipline and Organizational Culture on Employee Performance at the General Hospital (RSU) of South Tangerang City. The research employs a quantitative approach with a sample of 55 respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using SPSS 27. The t-test results indicate that Work Discipline and Organizational Culture have a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance. Similarly, the F-test results show that both variables simultaneously have a positive and significant impact on employee performance. The coefficient of determination test reveals that 63.1% of employee performance variability can be explained by the studied variables, while 36.9% is influenced by other unexamined factors. Specifically, Work Discipline contributes 57.8%, while Organizational Culture contributes 51.4% to Employee Performance. These findings provide insights into the factors affecting employee performance at the General Hospital (RSU) of South Tangerang City. The results can serve as a foundation for hospital management to improve organizational performance and employee productivity.

Abstract

Employee Performacnce is one of important aspect for the company, of course the company expects its employees to make a good contribution to the progress of a business. In order to get good employee performance, of course there are many supporting factors, in this case the author focuses on work dicipline and work environment factors. The purpose of this research is to find out whether there is an effect between work dicipline and work environment on employee performance at PT Megah Alkesindo Jakarta. The research method used is Quatitative Statistics, using data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and distributing questionnaires to 50 employees at PT Megah Alkesindo Jakarta (Saturated sample technique). The testing methods used are data quality test, classical assumption test, hypothesis of determination test. The result of the test conclude that there is a partial and significant influence between work dicipline on employee performance and between the work environment on employee performance, and simultaneously between work dicipline and work environment on employee performance. Based on the results of the coefficient of determination test, work dicipline and work environment ability to effect the employee performance by 62.8%, while the remaining 37.2% is affected by other factors.
