Gunung Djati Conference Series merupakan penyedia layanan publikasi dan konferensi berbagai bidang keilmuan yang diterbitkan oleh UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung dan sebagai sarana publikasi hasil penelitian. Penerbit ini memuat artikel yang belum pernah dipublikasikan sebelumnya yang berupa artikel hasil penelitian ataupun penelitian terapan. Informasi mengenai pedoman penulisan artikel dan prosedur pengiriman artikel terdapat pada setiap penerbitan. Semua artikel yang masuk akan melalui ‘peer-review process’ setelah memenuhi persyaratan sesuai pedoman penulisan artikel, kemudian penerbit menyerahkan semua template ke pelaksana konferensi keilmuan. Penerbitan artikel ini dilakukan sesuai kegiatan yang dilaksanakan oleh penyelenggara konferensi.

Abstract

A food court is an open and informal modern dining area. food court is an area in one location where there is a multi-purpose snack center, as well as a food court consisting of food stalls that offer a variety of varied menus and can be enjoyed by all groups because they are informal. The research method used by the author is field research, which is a research method that requires researchers to go directly to the field to collect data either through questionnaire results or through observation. This research approach uses a quantitative descriptive approach, quantitative descriptive research, namely explaining various conditions, various situations, or various variables that arise in society which are the object of research based on what happens. The aim of the research is to find out how price, facilities and service quality influence consumer satisfaction at the Halal Food Conference (MHF) food court. The results of this research show that the t-test partial test value obtained for the price variable was 3.59 with a significance of 0.000. Because tcount > ttable (3.59 > 1.985) or sig. t < 5% (0.000 < 0.050), then it can be stated that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that there is a significant influence between price and consumer satisfaction among food court consumers at the Halal Food Conference (MHF). The results of the t test value for the Facility Variable obtained tcount for the Facility variable of 0.55 with a significance of 0.000. Because tcount > ttable (0.55 > 1.985) or sig. t < 5% (0.000 < 0.050), then it can be stated that H0 is accepted and Ha is rejected. This means that there is an insignificant influence between Facilities on Consumer Satisfaction for Halal Food Conference (MHF) food court consumers. The t-test results of the service quality variable partially have a positive and significant effect on consumer satisfaction at the Halal Food Conference (MHF) food court. This can be seen in hypothesis testing. The T test on the Service Quality variable obtained a tcount value of 7.57 and a ttable of 1.985 with a significance value (sig.) of 0.000 < 0.050. The results of the f test simultaneously influence price, facilities and service quality. Consumer Satisfaction This can be shown based on the F test results table, where the f count is 95.95 and a significance value of 0.000. Based on these results, the calculated f value is 95.95 > 3.09 f table and the significance value is 0.000 < 0.050, meaning that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. With this it can be formulated that the variables of facility price and service quality simultaneously influence consumer satisfaction.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to investigate the role and concept of money in Islamic and conventional financial macroeconomics by examining the history, functions, and underlying financial theories. Money plays a very important role in the economy, both as a medium of exchange, a store of value, and a unit of account. Nevertheless, there are fundamental differences between Islamic financial systems and conventional ones regarding the function of money in society. In conventional financial systems, money is generally regarded as a commodity that can be traded, while in Islamic finance, money is viewed as a medium of exchange in accordance with Sharia principles. The method used in this research is a literature review that gathers data from various academic sources on the history of money, financial theory, and its relevance in the context of macroeconomics across both Islamic and conventional systems. The analysis was conducted using a descriptive-analytical approach to compare the differences in the concepts and functions of money in both systems. This study also highlights the importance of understanding these fundamental differences in the effort to build a more sustainable and ethical financial system. We hope that this research can contribute to further debates regarding the role of money in macroeconomics and enhance understanding of the practical implications of applying Islamic and conventional financial theories

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of the application of the content language integrated learning (CLIL) approach in improving English language learning outcomes in the international baccalaureate (IB) curriculum. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach by describing in detail the application of CLIL in the learning process in the IB curriculum. This study uses three data collection instruments, namely interviews, observations and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is drawing conclusions and presenting data obtained from respondents. From the research conducted, it was found that the CLIL approach to the IB curriculum has a significant impact on improving English language learning outcomes. The three main approaches brought by CLIL are contextual, communicative and psycholinguistic. This third aspect is an integral part of the development of English skills, where English is taught in an authentic context directly and communicatively in its implementation, and in addition by considering the theory of second language acquisition as the basis of its learning activities. Hence, the learning atmosphere that is built provides comprehensive input to students. Therefore, the CLIL approach can be practiced and adapted by many educational institutions to improve the quality of English competency.

Abstract

Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui permasalahan menulis siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan dari dokumen teks tulisan siswa. Untuk menganalisis kesalahan noun phrase pada teks analitis eksposisi, peneliti menggunakan analisis dokumen yang diambil dari 9 sampel siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 135 kesalahan penulisan frasa kata benda pada teks eksposisi analitis. Kesalahan tersebut meliputi 65 kesalahan pembentukan, 25 kesalahan pengurutan, 25 kesalahan penambahan, dan 20 kesalahan penghilangan. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa siswa membuat kesalahan dalam pengejaan dan penempatan kosa kata, sehingga jenis kesalahan yang sering muncul adalah kesalahan informasi dan kesalahan pengurutan. Hal ini disebabkan oleh kecenderungan siswa yang kurang memahami aturan tata bahasa dalam menulis teks. Temuan ini tentu bermanfaat bagi siswa untuk mengidentifikasi beberapa kesalahan umum, sehingga mereka dapat belajar dari kesalahan tersebut dan menghindari atau tidak mengulanginya di masa depan.

Abstract

Kosakata merupakan salah satu masalah dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris yang perlu diatasi. Kurangnya kemampuan siswa dalam menguasai kosakata menjadi salah satu masalah dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui masalah siswa dalam mempelajari  kosakata bahasa Inggris di SMAN 1 Rancaekek.  Peneliti menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Kemudian, data dikumpulkan melalui quesioner, wawancara, dan observasi. Selanjutnya, subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X MIPA 3 SMAN 1  Rancaekek  tahun ajaran 2023/2024 yang terdiri dari 37 siswa. Peneliti mewawancarai enam orang terpilih berdasarkan nilai bahasa Inggris yang mereka dapatkan pada mata pelajaran bahasa Inggris.  Wawancara terdiri dari 7 pertanyaan. Hasil akhir, temuan menunjukkan bahwa ada beberapa jenis masalah yang terdiri  dari kurangnya minat siswa dalam mempelajari bahasa Inggris, kurangnya motivasi siswa, tidak memahami grammar dan pengucapan, malas menghafal kosakata, dan  fasilitas pembelajaran  yang kurang mendukung. Oleh karena itu, pentingnya pembelajaran kosakata karena menjadi komponen yang paling penting sebelum ke aspek-aspek lainnya dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris.

Abstract

Critical thinking is one of the skills that each individual must have, especially when facing the increasingly rapid development of the era. This skill should be instilled in primary education. To answer this challenge, various strategies can be used to develop this skill, one of which is Philosophy for Children (P4C). This study aims to analyze the use of P4C in various countries and strategies for conducting the P4C. This study is an initial step in offering P4C using the literature review method. The study results show that P4C can be effectively implemented in several countries and has even been included in the national curriculum. Therefore, the study provides educators and stakeholders insight into the P4C program.

Abstract

This research aims to see how Tempo media assesses and positions the Government of the Republic of Indonesia in handling Covid-19 which hit in 2020. Tempo as a Media Company has an ideology and point of view towards the government, as a large media that has high credibility Tempo has a role which is very important in playing a positive or negative sentiment or image. The data used in this research are online media reports and Tempo online magazine titles. The theory used in research to analyze this text is Norrman Fairclough's model of critical discourse analysis (AWK) theory which divides discourse analysis into three dimensions, critical discourse analysis related to the descriptive dimension of the text, the discursive dimension of the text (production, dissemination and consumption of the text), which three dimensions of social practice. This research uses qualitative methods to describe the discourse in the text. The results of the analysis show that textually the tempo of this text uses metaphor as well as transitivity and modality which displays power relations. In terms of discursive practice, this text is produced, circulated and consumed as ideological power, by looking at the characteristics of its coherence and intertextuality as a social practice, this text has a power effect because Tempo in this case carries out the ideological practice of marginalizing the government's role in handling the Covid-19 outbreak, where Tempo as media, we always criticize and are critical of all government actions and policies in handling Covid-19 which have resulted in negative sentiment towards the government of the Republic of Indonesia.

Abstract

Matematika merupakan mata pelajaran yang diberikan di setiap jenjang pendidikan dengan tujuan agar siswa dapat berpikir secara logis, analitis, sistematis, dan kritis. Namun matematika masih dianggap momok yang menakutkan oleh sebagian siswa dikarenakan pembelajarannya yang abstrak dan komples. Seiring perkembangan zaman, banyak aplikasi-aplikasi matematis yang dikembangkan pihak ketika untuk membantu para siswa agar lebih mudah dalam memahami ilmu matematika. Namun pada kenyataanya, masih banyak siswa yang masi tertinggal dalam mengikuti perkembangan zaman dikarenakan faktor finansial dan yang lainnya, mengakibatkan pemahaman mereka akan perkembangan aplikasi matematis tertinggal dan membuat pembelajaran matematika yang sudah semakin mudah kembali pada pemahaman awalnya yang susah dan rumit. Padahal jika dilakukan penelitian, Perkembangan aplikasi matematis ini sangat berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan minat belajar seorang siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menentukan seberapa besar hubungan atau korelasi yang ada antara pengembangan harga diri dan hasil pembelajaran geometri dasar siswa yang belajar matematika. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, jenis penelitian korelasional, yang berfokus pada analisis data numerik atau nilai numerik dan diolah menggunakan metode statistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel pengembangan harga diri dan hasil pembelajaran mata kuliah geometri dasar pada siswa pendidikan matematika memiliki hubungan atau korelasi yang linear atau searah. Jika harga diri siswa tinggi, hasil pembelajaran geometri dasar mereka cenderung lebih baik. Sebaliknya, jika harga diri siswa rendah, hasil pembelajaran geometri dasar mereka cenderung lebih buruk. Saran untuk penelitian selanjutnya yakni diadakannya penelitian tentang variabel lain yang dapat mempengaruhi hasil pembelajaran geometri dasar.

Abstract

Salah satu faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar yaitu self confidence. Hasil belajar bisa dilihat dari nilai akhir suatu bidang studi yang menunjukkan rata-rata keseluruhan nillai atau hasil selama satu semester dan merupakan sebuah cerminan seluruh capaian pada saat proses kegiatan pembelajaran. Oleh karenanya, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari tahu adakah pengaruh self confidence terhadap hasil belajar atau capaian prestasi mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Matematika UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung angkatan 2020 dan seberapa besar pengaruhnya. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu dengan menyebarkan angket serta pengumpulan transkip nilai Mata Kuliah Statistika Penelitian Pendidikan. Hasil respon mahasiwa kemudian diolah dengan menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif dan dengan pengujian analisis regresi sederhana berbantuan aplikasi Stata dan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara self confidence dengan hasil belajar dengan perolehan signifikansi 0,028 < 0,05. Selain itu diperoleh nilai R-Squared sebesar 0,134. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa self confidence berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar sebesar 13,4% sedangkan 86,6% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain.
