Abstract

Indonesian tourism is a key driver of the national economy, with the potential to spur significant economic growth. The Indonesian Ministry of Tourism is committed to enhancing both the quantity and quality of tourism through various initiatives. Collaborative efforts between the government, industry, and community groups are exemplified in events like the Travel and Holiday Fair Jakarta, Indonesia Tourism Creative Economic Fair Jakarta, and Garuda Indonesia Travel Fair (GATF). These travel fairs are becoming essential sales promotion strategies for the Indonesian tourism industry, helping to introduce new products and stimulate public interest. One such initiative, the Garuda Indonesia Travel Fair, also plays a vital role in promoting the rich cultural heritage of Maluku by featuring the Kakehan Motif, a stylized sun ornament symbol from the Alifuru tribe on Seram Island. This study, using descriptive qualitative methods, explores the design of a booth exhibition that incorporates the Kakehan Motif to showcase and celebrate Maluku’s culture. The booth not only serves as a promotional platform for Maluku Province at the Garuda Indonesia Travel Fair but also acts as a communication medium, offering visitors an immersive experience. It provides a practical space for the creative expression of ideas and serves as a promotional tool for companies, institutions, and organizations. Through this visual media, the booth aims to elevate the Kakehan Motif's prominence, contributing to the broader efforts of cultural preservation and tourism promotion in Indonesia.

Abstract

The study examines the influence of pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical service quality on prescription redemption decisions and subsequent re-treatment decisions among general outpatients at Pasar Minggu Regional Hospital. The hospital has faced challenges, including a decline in outpatient visits and filled prescriptions, affecting its revenue during the 2022-2023 period. Patient perceptions of the pharmacy services significantly impact their decision to return for further medical care. The research aims to assess both direct and indirect effects of service quality on prescription redemption and re-treatment decisions. The study employs a verification approach with a cross-sectional design, using accidental sampling to survey 342 general outpatients between October 2023 and February 2024. Data were analyzed descriptively and inferentially using SEM PLS 3.0, encompassing both outer and inner model analyses through PLS Algorithm, Bootstrapping, and Blindfolding techniques. The findings reveal that the quality of pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical services significantly influences the decision to redeem a prescription (P = 0.000). Moreover, non-pharmaceutical service quality and the decision to redeem a prescription significantly affect the decision to re-medicate (P = 0.002 and 0.000, respectively). However, pharmaceutical service quality alone does not positively impact repeat treatment (P = 0.041). Both service variables have a significant indirect effect on re-treatment decisions through the mediating role of prescription redemption (P = 0.000).

Abstract

In the era of globalization and increasingly intense business competition, companies in various industrial sectors are required to manage their resources efficiently to achieve desired financial goals. The objective of a company is to maximize profits for its survival. Sales are one of the main operational activities of a company and a primary source of revenue. The fluctuating nature of stock prices requires an investor to understand the factors influencing their changes. Factors affecting stock price changes include financial statements and financial ratios. This study uses secondary data, namely the financial statements of Consumer Goods Industry companies in the Food and Beverages sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2020-2023. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, resulting in a total sample of 14 companies. The data analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis, preceded by classical assumption tests including normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, and autocorrelation test. The results of the model fit test show that cash flow and working capital are suitable as explanatory variables for profitability. The hypothesis testing results indicate that cash flow has a positive but not significant effect on profitability, meaning that if cash flow increases, profitability tends to increase. Working capital has a negative but not significant effect on profitability, meaning that if working capital decreases, profitability will increase. The market stock price significantly moderates the relationship between cash flow and profitability, but it does not significantly moderate the relationship between working capital and profitability.

This indicates that there is a significant abnormal return on T-5, or 5 days before the event of the launch of the New Economic Board. Meanwhile, in other periods, there is no significant abnormal return, and none of the periods show significant trading volume activity. In the difference test, the Sig. (2-tailed) values for both abnormal return and trading volume activity are >0.05, indicating no difference in abnormal return before and after the launch of the new economic board, as well as no difference in trading volume activity.

Abstract

The internet offers numerous features that simplify activities like communication, information retrieval, and transactions, making social media increasingly accessible. In Indonesia, individuals in their productive years, particularly early adulthood, dominate internet usage. This phase is characterized by repetitive behaviors, which can escalate the intensity of social media use and potentially lead to addiction. One factor influencing this tendency is alexithymia. This study aims to explore the impact of alexithymia on social media addiction tendencies among early adults in Karawang. Employing a quantitative causality design, the research utilized non-probability sampling, specifically snowball sampling, to gather data from 385 respondents aged 20-30 years residing in Karawang. The Toronto Alexithymia Scale (TAS) was used to measure alexithymia, while the Bergen Social Media Addiction Scale (BSMAS) assessed social media addiction tendencies. Reliability was tested using Cronbach's Alpha, with a threshold of > 0.08, while normality was evaluated through the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test at a 5% significance level. Linearity was assessed using an ANOVA test, yielding a significance of 0.468 > 0.05. The results of the simple linear regression test showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, confirming the hypothesis that alexithymia significantly influences social media addiction tendencies in early adulthood in Karawang. The determination test results indicated that alexithymia accounts for 54.2% of the variance in social media addiction tendencies (R-Square = 0.542), with the remaining 45.8% attributed to other variables not examined in this study.
