Abstract

This research presents the design of a fire early detection system utilizing a microcontroller integrated with Mamdani fuzzy logic. The system employs multiple sensors, including temperature, gas, and infrared sensors, to detect fires by analyzing the temperature, gas concentration, and fire distance. The microcontroller serves as the core processor that controls the sensors and triggers responses, such as alarms and sprinkler activation, based on fuzzy logic-based decision-making. Fuzzy logic enhances the system's adaptability to different fire severity levels, improving response accuracy. The system successfully detects potential fires, controls the sprinkler system automatically, and is shown to improve fire prevention in various environments. Testing results indicate that the system can effectively identify fire hazards and minimize damage by responding appropriately to various fire scenarios. This research provides a foundation for developing smarter and more efficient fire safety systems.

Abstract

Efficiency in the selection of prospective employees can have a significant impact on increasing costs and extending the time required in the recruitment process of HR Information Systems in boarding schools.  However, the hiring process is often still done manually and traditionally, resulting in high costs and time and lack of efficiency. Social media has become an important part of modern society, including in the employee recruitment and selection process. Social media can be used to obtain more comprehensive information about prospective employees, such as educational background, skills, work experience, and personality. This research investigates using Linear Regression Algorithm on social media classification and Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method as ranking criteria in classifying prospective employees. One of the proposed solutions is to utilize information from social media to evaluate the potential and personality of prospective employees. This research specifically reviews the application of Linear Regression Algorithm and TOPSIS method in categorizing prospective employees based on information obtained from social media, focusing on HR Information System in a particular boarding school. The results showed that the application of social media classification system with linear regression algorithm with Mean absolute error 10.50, Residual sum of squares (MSE): 147.16, R-squared: 1.0 and TOPSIS method with an accuracy rate of 0.51238 for the first rank can improve the efficiency of the recruitment process

Abstract

This study aimed to determine, analyze, and describe the influence of workload, work environment, and facilities on the performance of health workers at Bintuni Health Center, Teluk Bintuni Regency, using multiple linear regression analysis techniques. This research was quantitative in nature, employing a questionnaire as the data collection instrument. The study involved 97 respondents comprising health workers at Bintuni Community Health Center. The results indicated that workload had a significant negative influence on the performance of health workers with P = 0.000 < 0.05 and a coefficient value of -0.340. The work environment had a significant positive influence on performance with P = 0.000 < 0.05 and a coefficient value of 0.243, while facilities had a significant positive influence with P = 0.000 < 0.05 and a coefficient value of 0.406. Therefore, higher workload could decrease the performance of health workers, where as a good work environment and facilities would enhance the performance of health workers at Bintuni Community Health Center.

Abstract

From a review of previous research on global reactions to food crises, most studies have focused on economic aspects. This review identified the following gaps: (1) There is no study discussing the synergy between the church and the government in addressing food crises; (2) No research is available on the role and social anticipation of communities in the context of food crises. This research is urgently needed because synergy between the government and the church is crucial in the context of food security in North Sulawesi. The objective of this research is to fill this research gap through a holistic and comprehensive approach to the synergy between the Provincial Government of North Sulawesi and the Evangelical Christian Church in Minahasa in anticipating the global food crisis by enhancing farming and livestock activities in North Sulawesi. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative design through content analysis combined with a missiology analysis approach of the church. Data collection was carried out using participatory observation, interviews, and literature studies.  The novelty of this research includes: (1) The synergy between the Provincial Government of North Sulawesi and the Evangelical Christian Church in Minahasa in responding to and anticipating the global food crisis; (2) The combination of content analysis methods with church missiology analysis as a new approach. The output of this research is a conceptual framework and a strong missiological approach strategy in building and optimizing relevant and effective synergy.

Abstract

The share prices of mining companies included in the LQ 45 Index are unstable because they experience increases and decreases from 2018 to 2023 (5 years).  If the other independent variables remain constant, each increase is one unit Debt to Equity Ratio will reduce share prices -0.643. Then influence Total Asset Turnover to Share Prices in Mining Companies that are members of the LQ 45 Index for the 2018-2023 period is a significant and positive influence. If the other independent variables remain constant, each increase is one unit Total Asset Turnover will increase the share price by 0.453. Furthermore, the influence of ROA (Return On Asset) to Share Prices in Mining Companies that are members of the LQ 45 Index for the 2018-2023 period is a significant and negative effect. If the other independent variables remain constant, each increase is one unit Total Asset Turnover will lower the Share Price 1,060. and Current Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio, Total Asset Turnover, ROA (Return On Asset) simultaneous significant effect on share prices in Mining Companies that are members of the LQ 45 Index for the 2018-2023 period with a percentage of 79% means that it is 79% Current Ratio, Debt to Equity RatiO,Total Asset Turnover and ROA (Return On Asset) to Stock Price and the rest 21% influenced by factor other than the variables studied.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the comparative calculation of investment return rates between three models, namely Single Index Model (SIM), Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM), and Arbitrage Pricing Theory (APT), in eight mining company sectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX 30). This study uses historical data from the mining company sectors to calculate and compare the investment return rates based on these three models. The research method used is statistical analysis to evaluate and compare the predicted investment return rates from the Single Index Model (SIM), Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM), and Arbitrage Pricing Theory (APT). The data used includes historical stock prices, company financial data, and relevant market data. The results of this study are expected to provide a better understanding of the effectiveness and advantages of each model in the context of mining companies listed on IDX 30. The results of this study show that the Single Index Model (SIM) indicates a moderate financial potential with an average value of 7,58, which is lower compared to CAPM. A high risk (beta) of 2,20 indicates that this investment has a higher risk than the market. On the other hand, the Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM) has a higher average return value of 19,15, indicating greater profit potential but also commensurate risk. The Arbitrage Pricing Theory calculation of 6,46, the lowest, reflects a more cautious calculation of return estimates. The inflation beta risk value of 100.924,50 and the deposit interest beta risk of 9.320,14 are very high.

Abstract

Crime in the cyber world certainly has a significant impact. People think that Indonesia has a Criminal Code that cannot cover crimes in cyberspace, which is a new crime. This is what makes the government have to issue regulations regarding cyber crime or cyber crime. With regard to enforcing cybercrime law, of course, a regulation is needed in positive law. It also regulates the punishment and how the evidence for cyber crimes and the position of electronic evidence are. This research method uses the normative method. The existence of electronic evidence in proving cybercrime has been alluded to in Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning Amendments to Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions. In Article 5 of Law Number 11 of 2008, it explicitly mandates that "Electronic Information and/or Electronic Documents and/or their printouts are valid legal evidence". This can be interpreted that electronic documents are considered legally valid according to positive law in Indonesia. However, in the amendment to the elucidation of Article 5 paragraph (1) regulated in Law Number 19 of 2016, it is explained that the existence of Electronic Information and/or Electronic Documents is binding and recognized as valid evidence to provide legal certainty for the Implementation of Electronic Systems and Transactions Electronic, especially in proving and matters relating to legal actions carried out through Electronic Systems.
