Abstract

Based on performance in 2023, the share of Loans and Third-Party Funds from BNI decreased compared to 2022. In the profit and loss statement, BNI’s net interest income decreased by 0.1% (IDR 45.0 billion) compared to 2022. BNI’s Net Interest Margin (NIM) fell from 4.8% in 2022 to 4.6% in 2023. As a trusted financial institution, to address these business challenges, BNI launched a Super App in early July 2024. This research aims to analyze the correlation and evaluate the impact of the BNI Super App on BNI's funding structure and financial performance. This study employs both qualitative and quantitative research methods. The qualitative data analysis uses a content analysis approach, while the quantitative methods include correlation and paired samples t-test analyses. Data collection combines interviews and secondary data from BNI’s Annual Report and financial performance records. Based on the correlation results, Hypothesis 1 for CASA Ratio, Cost of Fund, NIM, and ROA is accepted. For impact results, Hypothesis 1 is accepted for Cost of Fund, NIM, and ROA, while it is rejected for CASA Ratio. There is a positive correlation between the BNI Super App—in terms of the number and volume of transactions—and CASA Ratio, NIM, and ROA, and a negative correlation with Cost of Funds. The results also show a significant impact after the launch of the Super App in reducing Cost of Fund and increasing NIM and ROA. However, the CASA Ratio has not yet increased significantly.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technologies has driven state-owned enterprises (SOEs) in Indonesia to adopt transformasi digital strategies. PT Hutama Karya (Persero), despite investing billions of Rupiah annually in digital initiatives, continues to face delays and underutilization of tools such as BIM, PMIS, and CDE. This study investigates the root causes of these inefficiencies, arguing that misalignment between strategi digital and behavioral adoption at the project level is the core issue. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected from internal documents, interviews, questionnaires, and group discussions. Analysis revealed that resistance to change, lack of practical training, and weak cultural reinforcement are key inhibitors. The study integrates Kotter’s 8-Step Model, ADKAR, and the Theory of Planned Behavior to develop a behavioral-driven transformation framework. Findings highlight high employee motivation but moderate support in process and technology readiness. Business solutions include digital champions, targeted training, broader tool access, and performance-based reinforcement. A phased roadmap (Transform–Sustain–Strive) aligned with RJPP 2025–2029 was proposed, along with a risk mitigation plan. This research contributes to transformasi digital literature by emphasizing behavioral change and offering a replicable framework for SOEs in construction and infrastructure sectors.

Abstract

Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) is a common illness in older men, marked by lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) that diminish quality of life. Although conventional therapies like medication and transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP) are effective, they frequently entail considerable adverse effects. Transperineal Laser Ablation (TPLA) has emerged as a viable minimally invasive surgical intervention that provides symptom alleviation with potentially reduced consequences. The objective of this study is to comprehensively assess the clinical effectiveness and safety of TPLA in the treatment of BPH through the analysis of aggregated data from previous cohort studies. A systematic review and meta-analysis were performed in accordance with PRISMA recommendations. A total of 449 people were enrolled across ten trials. The meta-analysis revealed a substantial enhancement in all evaluated outcomes following TPLA: a −58.435% decrease in IPSS (95% CI: −70.421 to −46.449), a −63.937% reduction in PVR (95% CI: −76.937 to −50.938), a +68.031% increase in Qmax (95% CI: 47.438 to 88.624), and a −27.927% decline in prostate volume (95% CI: −36.575 to −19.280). Significant heterogeneity (I² > 90%) was observed across all outcomes. Discussion: The results indicate that TPLA markedly improves both subjective symptoms and objective urine function in individuals with BPH. TPLA is a promising, minimally invasive procedure for BPH, showing significant improvements in symptom severity and urine parameters. Although existing data endorse its effectiveness and safety, forthcoming randomized controlled studies are important to validate its long-term results and define its position in clinical practice.

Abstract

By 2045, Indonesia aims to become the fourth-largest economy in the world, with a projected value of USD 8.89 trillion. Achieving this target requires integrating local wisdom into economic strategies, reflecting the nation’s cultural heritage and sustainability goals. This study examines the gap between these national aspirations and ground realities, focusing on the role of local wisdom in supporting sustainable economic growth. Using a combination of literature review, secondary data, and interviews with key informants, the research explores the role of the “Tri Hita Karana” philosophy, which emphasizes harmony between humans, nature, and spirituality, as a foundation for economic development. The findings indicate that, despite government policies such as the Regional Action Plan for Bali and green economic initiatives that align with local traditions, significant challenges remain, including regulatory inconsistencies, coordination gaps, limited access to capital, and human resource shortages, which hinder effective policy implementation. The study also emphasizes the importance of aligning national strategies with local potential, particularly in regions like Bali, where the creative economy is closely linked to cultural heritage. Unlike previous studies, this research provides a comprehensive analysis of how local wisdom can bridge the gap between policy ambitions and on-the-ground realities, offering practical recommendations to strengthen MSMEs, attract investment, and support the green economy. This approach enhances the competitiveness of local economies while preserving cultural identity.

Abstract

The global shift toward renewable energy and electric mobility offers great potential for integrating photovoltaic (PV) systems with electric vehicle charging infrastructure. This study evaluates the feasibility and optimization of on-grid rooftop PV energy utilization with EV charging stations in shopping centers in West Kalimantan through an installation at Gaia Mall in Pontianak. Using HOMER Pro software, three scenarios were analyzed: Mall Only, SPKLU Only (electric vehicle charging stations), and combined Mall + SPKLU. The 1.16 MWp rooftop PV system produces around 1,524,240 kWh annually. The combined scenario emerged as the most optimal, with the lowest Net Present Cost (NPC) of IDR 29.8 billion, the highest Internal Rate of Return (IRR) at 10.3%, and a payback period of about 10 years. In this case, the mall’s yearly electricity use of 1,198,868 kWh is fully met. Excess energy of 325,372 kWh can supply about 15 SPKLU, each consuming 20,615 kWh per year. A 10,900 kWh lithium-ion battery storage system enhances supply stability and reliability. Environmentally, this combined system reduces carbon dioxide emissions by more than 1.8 million kilograms annually. The study demonstrates that integrating rooftop PV with EV charging stations is a technically viable, economically attractive, and environmentally sustainable solution aligning with Indonesia’s clean energy goals.

Abstract

Today's young generation faces great challenges in maintaining cultural identity and building character amid the rapid flow of globalization and technological advancement. Character education through a local culture-based approach is an alternative solution in strengthening the nation's identity. This research focuses on identifying the symbolic meaning and values of local wisdom in the culture of the Tumenggung type Cirebon mask performance art, which can be used as a learning resource for PPKn in elementary schools. The research uses a qualitative approach with interpretive descriptive methods. The research site is the Panji Asmara Art Studio in Bulak Village, Cirebon Regency. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The main informant is the Cirebon mask artist, a cultural expert. The data analysis technique uses the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, while meaning analysis employs a hermeneutic approach with "thick description" by Geertz. The results of the study show that the performance art of the Tumenggung mask contains values of local wisdom, which include cultural preservation, religious values, character education, and leadership values integrated into elements of movement, accompaniment, costumes, and masks. The conclusion is that the value of local wisdom contained in the performing art of the Tumenggung Cirebon mask can be used as a source of PPKn learning in schools using an ethnopedagogical approach.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the sodaqoh tradition on the formation of the independence character of elementary school-age children involved in the practice of begging at the Sunan Gunung Jati Cemetery Complex, Cirebon. The sodaqoh tradition that has taken root in this society not only contains cultural and spiritual values, but also has the potential for negative impacts on the development of children's character, especially in terms of independence, morality, and ethical attitudes. The research uses a qualitative approach with phenomenological methods and a single case study. Data collection techniques were carried out through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The informants consisted of cultural experts, tomb managers, pilgrims, and children who were active in asking for sodaqoh, selected through purposive techniques and snowball sampling. The research instruments include interview guidelines, observation sheets, and documentation. Data were analyzed using a qualitative descriptive approach through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn, with validity tested through triangulation of sources and techniques. The results of the study show that the phenomenon of begging visitors/tourists is a tradition in the community in the Suanan Gunungjati Cirebon cemetery complex. From 3 case studies of elementary school-age children who are directly involved as shodaqoh requesters, it shows a lack of independent character among them.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the investment efficiency of ITMG and PTBA shares during 2024 using the Modern Portfolio Theory (MPT) approach. The Efficient Frontier and Capital Allocation Line (CAL) methods are applied to identify optimal portfolio combinations that maximize returns and minimize risk. Secondary data, in the form of daily closing prices of shares, were collected from the Indonesia Stock Exchange and Investing.com. The results of the analysis show that ITMG shares have a higher average daily return than PTBA, but with lower volatility. The low correlation between the two stocks creates effective diversification opportunities. Portfolio simulations form an Efficient Frontier that depicts various combinations of returns and risks, while the Capital Allocation Line shows the linear relationship between risk-free rates and optimal portfolios. The optimal portfolio achieves a combination of a 0.03% return with a risk of 1.91%, while the use of leverage can increase the expected return to 0.04% with a risk of 3.82%. This research emphasizes the importance of managing a combination of assets in one sector to improve investment efficiency. These findings are expected to serve as a strategic guide for investors in optimizing their portfolios of coal mining sector stocks amid the dynamics of the Indonesian capital market.
