Abstract

PT. Kobexindo Tractors Tbk holds a significant spare parts inventory to meet their customers' needs. Over the period from 2016 to 2023, the company experienced an average annual loss of Rp. 1,176,438,113, due to the inadequate analysis of spare parts demand, which serves as a reference in the procurement process. To address this issue, this research focuses on developing a model that can generate accurate forecasts for spare parts inventory, particularly Jungheinrich parts, to support appropriate management decisions in the procurement process at the company. The Exponential Smoothing method is chosen for its ability to handle data with fluctuating patterns and trends. This study will compare the Simple Exponential Smoothing, Double Exponential Smoothing, and Triple Exponential Smoothing methods. The data ratio used in this research is 70% for training data and 30% for testing data. The prototype development is conducted using the Python programming language. The research results indicate that the Holts Winter Exponential Smoothing Model with Multiplicative Seasonality and Multiplicative Trend (Triple Exponential) is the best method among others, as follows: 1) Train RSME (7.082307), a low RSME value on training data indicates that this model has a small prediction error rate on the data used for training. 2) Test MAPE (6.343268), a low MAPE value on test data indicates that this model provides fairly accurate predictions in percentage terms of the actual values. 3) Test RSME Values (23.160521), a sufficiently low RSME value on test data indicates that this model also successfully generalizes well on unseen data.

Abstract

Freedom of expression is one of the fundamental human rights guaranteed in various international legal instruments. The development of information and communication technology, especially social media, has opened up new spaces for people to express their opinions. This research aims to analyze the protection of the right to freedom of opinion through social media from a human rights perspective. This research uses normative legal research methods with a qualitative approach. Research data was obtained through literature studies of various statutory regulations, books, scientific journals and other legal sources. The data that has been collected is then analyzed in three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The research results show that the protection of freedom of expression on social media is regulated in various policies including the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), the International Convention on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR), and the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms (ECHR). Meanwhile, in Indonesia it is regulated in the 1945 Law, the Human Rights Law, and Law Number 19 of 2016. The right to freedom of opinion through social media is a fundamental human right that needs to be protected. This right is considered a fundamental right that cannot be reduced or limited by anyone or the state, this emphasizes the need for strong fulfillment and protection of this right. However, this right also needs to be balanced with the responsibility to use it wisely and responsibly.

Abstract

The proliferation of plastic pollution in the sea has emerged as a critical global issue, posing severe threats to marine ecosystems and human health. This study delves into the government's responsibility in addressing plastic waste pollution in Indonesian waters, where plastic waste has become a significant environmental concern. Despite existing regulations, the enforcement of laws related to plastic waste pollution remains inadequate, with various challenges hindering effective implementation. By employing a juridical-normative approach, this research analyzes the government's role in preventing environmental pollution and enforcing laws pertaining to plastic waste pollution in the sea. Key findings highlight the necessity for specific regulations targeting plastic waste management and the importance of enhancing law enforcement mechanisms. Recommendations include strengthening preventive measures, such as awareness campaigns and administrative sanctions, to foster responsible plastic waste management practices.

In public policy, the decision-making process can be influenced by several factors, including groupthink and bounded rationality. However, decision making must still be done with a systematic approach, thinking, and choosing the alternative with the lowest risk from the existing alternatives. Abstract

Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is one of the macroeconomic indicators that reflects the level of welfare of a country's population. The APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) forum has the main goal of promoting economic growth and enhancing prosperity in the Asia-Pacific region. This is done by encouraging and facilitating more open trade and investment in the region. APEC member countries have different export characteristics, namely agricultural exports and high-technology exports. This study analyzes the influence of agricultural exports, high-technology exports, Foreign Direct Investment, and regulatory quality on the Gross Domestic Product of APEC member countries. The research data used are secondary data from the World Bank from 2011 to 2020, analyzed using the Fixed Effect Model approach of panel data regression method using E-Views 12. The results show that simultaneously, agricultural exports, high-technology exports, Foreign Direct Investment, and regulatory quality have a significant influence on the economies of APEC member countries. Partially, high-technology exports and regulatory quality have a positive and significant impact, while agricultural exports and Foreign Direct Investment have a positive but not significant impact on GDP. APEC countries should focus on productivity by harnessing technology and achieving inclusive economies for societal welfare.
