Abstract

This study aims to analyze the income of ginger farming in Mokobang Village, Modoinding District, South Minahasa Regency. The research was carried out for 2 months from July to August 2022. The sampling method used the purposive sampling method with criteria based on farmers who had harvested during the research, taken farmers who harvested the January-June period and the July-August 2022 period with 15 respondents. farmer. The research uses primary data obtained from direct observation and interviews with respondents using a questionnaire. Secondary data was obtained from related agencies, namely the Agricultural Extension Center (AEC) Modoinding District and the Mokobang Village Government. The analytical method used in this research is income analysis and farming feasibility analysis. The results showed that the average income of ginger farming which was harvested in January-June was IDR 2,515,636/Ha with an average land area of 0.61 Ha, while the income earned by ginger farmers who were harvested in July-August was IDR 3,714,610/ Ha with an average land area of 0.29 Ha for one growing season (9 months). The R/C ratio of ginger farmers who harvest in January-June is 1.10 and the R/C value of ginger farmers who harvest in July-August is 1.09. The R/C value obtained is more than 1, this shows that ginger farming in Mokobang Village is feasible to be cultivated.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to calculate the added value of the “sweet nutmeg” product from the business of Wisma Bunaken in Tona I Village, Tahuna Timur District, Sangihe Archipelago Regency. The research was conducted from April to June 2022. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained through direct interviews with company owners using prepared questionnaires and direct observation of conditions in the field during the analysis period. Secondary data, namely data obtained from the literature and literature through documents, publications, or research results from various institutions or institutions that support and relate to the required research topic. The results showed that 1 kilogram of nutmeg flesh processed by the Sweet Nutmeg Business of Wisma Bunaken, Tona I Village, Tahuna Timur District, Sangihe Islands Regency provided an added value of IDR 54,955 with a ratio obtained of 91.59 and a contribution of 18.20 workers and a additional packaging of IDR 14,955 for 100 gram packages and IDR 34,955 for 200 gram packages with ratios obtained of 0.74 and 0.87 for 100 and 200 gram packages.

Abstract

This study aims to calculate the amount of added value and profit from processing snake fruit into snake fruit chips. The research was carried out from June to August 2022 in Werdhi Agung Selatan Village. The data used in this study are primary data obtained through observation, interviews, and recording of the results of interviews with business owners based on a prepared questionnaire. Secondary data is obtained from the literature and literature through documents, publications, or research results from various institutions or institutions that support and relate to the research topic. The data obtained were analyzed using added value analysis according to the hayami method. Based on the results of the research, the Mount Lanying IKM Home Industry business requires 40 kg of raw salak fruit in a day to produce 4 kg of salak chips. In 1 Kg of salak chips can produce 13 packs of chips so that in 4 Kg of chips you will get 52 packs of chips. The output price is IDR 17,000/pack with a weight of 75 grams. The added value obtained from processing snakefruit into snakefruit chips is IDR 4,907/Kg with a profit of IDR 2,407/Kg.

Abstract

This study aims to find out and see how the role of field agricultural extension workers, especially in the lowland rice farmer groups in Kaneyan Village, Tareran District, South Minahasa Regency. The research was conducted in Kaneyan Village, Tareran District, South Minahasa Regency in July 2022. The data collection method was obtained from primary data through direct interviews using a questionnaire, and secondary data was obtained from agencies related to research and various literature that was in accordance with the research objectives. The sampling method in this research is purposive sampling (intentionally). Determination of the sample of 10 respondents who are the head of agricultural extension workers and the Teguh Bersinar rice field farmer group. The results of the study showed that the extension workers had carried out their duties properly. This can be seen from the majority of respondents who stated that extension agents had guided and facilitated farmers to be better.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the feasibility of the palm cooking oil packaging business and to determine the large income from the palm cooking oil packaging business. The research was carried out for 5 months, starting from August to December 2020. The research location was at CV. Kaliserayoe, Tawangsari Village, RT 03 RW 03 Gunungtanjung Village, Gunungtanjung District, Tasikmalaya Regency, West Java Province. With a quantitative descriptive research method with data sources from primary data, namely cooking oil packaging business managers, and secondary data, namely from related agencies or institutions, the internet (google search and google schoolar) and libraries. The results showed that the income from the cooking oil packaging business carried out by CV. Kaliserayoe in one period (1 month) was IDR 32,053,188 and the cooking oil packaging business carried out by CV. Kaliserayoe was financially feasible, with an R/C value of 1.05.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the supporting institutions for strawberry agribusiness, and the role of supporting institutions in the development of strawberry agribusiness in Mooat Village and South Bongkudai Village, East Bolaang Mongondow Regency. This research was conducted from May to August 2022. This research method uses a survey method. The research locations are all areas that grow strawberries. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained from respondents, namely farmers and institutions that support the development of strawberry agribusiness, namely agribusiness supporting institutions. Secondary data was obtained from the government, sub-district office, mooat village office, and literature studies. The sampling method used is multistage random sampling. Data analysis used in this research is descriptive analysis. The results showed that agribusiness supporting institutions in East Bolaang Mongondow Regency included Bank BRI, Bank SulutGo, BNI, and BPR, Savings and Loans Cooperatives, Producers Cooperatives, Consumer Cooperatives, Service Cooperatives, Multi-Business Cooperatives. Research and Technology Institutions in the form of Agricultural Vocational Schools, and Universities. Fisheries and Forestry Extension Center (F2EC), Production Facilities Agency.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the participation of the Green Lestari farmer group in agricultural extension activities in Tondei Satu Village, West Motoling District, South Minahasa Regency. This research started from April to June 2022. The data analysis method used in this study was descriptive analysis using a Likert Scale, the number of samples used in this study totaled 11 people. The types of data used in this research are primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained from direct interviews with the Hijau Lestari farmer group using a questionnaire, while secondary data was obtained from the Tondei Satu Village Government. The results of this study indicate that the participation of the Hijau Lestari farmer group in agricultural extension activities in Tondei Satu Village, West Motoling District, South Minahasa Regency is classified as active. Where is the total overall score of 353 with a percentage of 89.14.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of member participation in the Tumangkokow Farmer Group in Kopiwangker Village. The research was conducted in Kopiwangker Village, West Langowan District, Minahasa Regency. The data collection method is a survey method. Interview data collection techniques using questionnaires. The results of this study using the Likert Scale measurement indicate that the participation of members of the Tumangkokow Farmer Group in Kopiwangker Village, Langowan Barat District, Minahasa Regency using the Likert Scale measurement is classified as active, measured from the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of farming activities with a value of 77.02%. Members have participated in farmer groups with indicators of attending meetings, making decisions, stages of planting and stitching, fertilizing, pest and disease control and harvesting and post-harvesting are in the very active category and participation of members in giving opinions, stages of tillage, cleaning, monitoring and measuring the production of farming activities is in the active category.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the coffee supply chain that occurs at PT Sulotco Jaya Abadi, Tana Toraja Regency. This research was conducted from February to August 2022. The selection of respondents was carried out using the Snowball Sampling method. The types of data used in this research are primary data and secondary data. The primary data collected was obtained directly from the results of interviews and through questionnaires which were distributed to one respondent in the company, two collecting traders, sixty five farmers. So that the total respondents in this study were 68 people. Secondary data were obtained from related agencies, namely through the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), books, the internet, journal articles, thesis articles related to this research topic. The results of this study indicate that the supply chain at PT Sulotco Jaya Abadi, Tana Toraja Regency has two sources of raw materials, namely from the company's own coffee plantations and from local farmers through collectors. PT Sulotco Jaya Abadi's supply chain product flow is in the form of Green Bean coffee beans. PT Sulotco Jaya Abadi's supply chain financial flow is using a purchase and sale transaction system, namely a cash system and interbank transfers. The supply chain information flow of PT Sulotco Jaya Abadi occurs in two directions between the actors involved in the supply chain.

Abstract

This study aims to identify lowland rice farmers in the village of Tombolango, District of Sangkub, North Bolaang Mongondow Regency. The data analysis used in this study was the purposive sampling method, from the total population of lowland rice farmers in the tombolango village, which has an area of lowland rice farming under 1 ha and above 1 ha. Based on these criteria, 15 samples were taken as respondents. The data collection method in this study was carried out by collecting primary data and secondary data. Primary data is raw data taken by researchers in the field from the source and obtained from direct interviews, while secondary data is data obtained from the government or local agencies. The results of this study indicate that the identification of lowland rice farmers in the village of tombolango, Sangkub District, shows the characteristics of lowland rice farmers, namely the type of seeds used, the amount of production, the selling price, fertilizers, herbicides, insecticides, the number of initial workers, tractor machines and threshing machines, and farmer incomes ranging from IDR 20,000,000.
