Abstract

The use of multimedia in the learning process has become an increasingly popular trend in the field of education. This research aims to explore the effectiveness of multimedia learning and its impact on student achievement. In this study, multimedia is defined as the use of a combination of elements such as text, images, audio, video, and animation in learning. The methods used in this research include literature review and analysis of relevant studies. The findings from the literature review indicate that the use of multimedia in learning offers several advantages. Firstly, multimedia can enhance visual appeal and support diverse learning styles. Secondly, multimedia can improve information retention by providing interactive and memorable learning experiences. Thirdly, multimedia can enhance understanding of complex concepts through the use of concrete examples and visualizations. However, the effectiveness of multimedia learning is influenced by various factors. One key factor is the design of the multimedia itself. Good design should consider student characteristics, learning objectives, and the content to be delivered. Furthermore, the availability of adequate technological infrastructure is also necessary to support the use of multimedia in learning.

The results showed that nurses already know how to report to a doctor if there are signs and symptoms of infection and transmission of infectious diseases and protect against precautions while on duty at the hospital. However, there are still nurses who do not know optimally in terms of maintaining hospital cleanliness. In maintaining hand hygiene, nurses only know in terms of hand washing, the implementation is not in accordance with the procedure. In using Personal Protective Equipment, nurses know their role in terms of wearing masks and gloves, but in practice there are still nurses who have not used Personal Protective Equipment according to standards. In addition, there are obstacles for nurses in preventing nosocomial infections such as inadequate infrastructure.

Abstract

Hospitals are an integral component of the health system, aimed at providing comprehensive individual healthcare. This includes inpatient, outpatient, and emergency services. For hospitals to be competitive, it is imperative that they offer high-quality services, adhere to standards, and serve all demographics. Drawing data from 341 Hospital Service Quality Surveys, the development of hospitals allows patients to determine which institution best meets their care needs. One of the challenges is ensuring patient satisfaction, thus building trust in the provided services. Factors influencing the quality of health services include the availability of resources, service facilities during the insurance period, ease of accessing information, and timeliness of services. The Royal Prima Medan Hospital emphasizes the utmost importance of public safety in its services. The study aims to understand the influence of responsibility and reliability on insurance company safety. This research is a descriptive analytical study conducted at the Royal Prima Medan Hospital, located at Puskesmas Padang Bulan. Data collection methods ranged from observation, questionnaires, interviews, documentation to literature review. The analysis compared the results of the K-Means and K-Methoids Clustering algorithms, with the K-Means method yielding five clusters and a satisfaction score of 2.701288, while the K-Methoids method resulted in two clusters with a satisfaction score of 2.71. The comparative analysis revealed that the K-Methoids Clustering method produces fewer clusters than the K-Means method.
