Abstract

This study examines how social change occurs through the transition to smart farming in Cibodas Village, West Java, Indonesia. Using Pierre Bourdieu's concepts of habitus, capital, and field within a constructivist paradigm, this study employed qualitative methods, including participant observation, in-depth interviews, and analysis of policy documents and training materials related to smart farming. The results show that applying IoT technology for automated irrigation for fertilization and microclimate monitoring in smart farming can simplify agricultural operations and transform farmers' habits and village government structures, orienting them toward the use of advanced technology. This shift occurs as cultural capital based on digital technology is transformed into symbolic capital, thereby increasing sales confidence. This shift is particularly pronounced among young farmers, who utilize digital knowledge to simplify agricultural operations and sales mechanisms. However, for elderly farmers, their lack of literacy skills and limited access to information pose a potential disadvantage in facilitating the Cibodas Village. Agriculture in Cibodas serves as a platform for mobilizing and negotiating various forms of capital. This underscores the need for technology adoption to drive change and promote more equitable social development.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the processes and challenges experienced by students of the Indonesian Education study program in utilizing Canva as a learning medium in PjBL. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research method with thematic interviews and data analysis techniques. This research not only explores the processes and challenges but also relates to the TPACK framework. The results show that students have been familiar with Canva since high school and that the frequency of use increases as the semester rate increases. Canva's use of media is considered to help in planning creative, efficient, and collaborative project outcomes. However, several challenges in its use still arise, especially those related to unstable Internet connections, weak coordination between group members, and limited premium access. These findings confirm that the use of Canva not only enriches students' learning experiences but also demonstrates the integration of technology, pedagogy, and content elements as described in the Pedagogical Knowledge and Technology Content (TPACK) framework. Through this integration, students learn to balance technological skills with pedagogical understanding and learning materials. Overall, Canva's implementation in PjBL contributes to strengthening 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and digital literacy. This study recommends increasing digital infrastructure support and learning technology training for students so that the use of Canva in PjBL can be more optimal and sustainable.

Abstract

The Merah Putih Village Cooperative (KDMP) program is a strategic program initiated by the Indonesian Government to accelerate economic development starting from the village level, aligned with the national long-term development plan agenda. Although this program has significant potential for economic impact, a fundamental understanding of its transmission mechanisms to the local economy remains limited. This study aims to analyze and formulate a conceptual model that maps the multiplier effect transmission mechanisms generated by the KDMP. Using a qualitative method through a systematic literature review, this study identifies and synthesizes various pathways of cooperative economic impact on the local economy. The study results show that KDMP, with its business model, creates multiplier effects through three primary transmission pathways. First, the input provision and consumption. The second is financial intermediation and investment, and the third is value chain aggregation and integration. These pathways collectively generate reinforcing direct, indirect, and induced multiplier effects. This study also formulates a conceptual framework that can serve as an analytical tool for policymakers to design effective support interventions and as a foundation for future research to measure the actual magnitude of the KDMP’s multiplier effect.

Abstract

This study discusses the implementation of the PELIKAS Program (Utilization of Organic Waste for Social Independence) as a form of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Integrated Terminal Pangkalbalam in Bukit Besar Village, Pangkalpinang City. The background of this program is the increasing volume of household organic waste, the limited capacity of the Final Disposal Site (TPA), and the high unemployment rate of the community. Through a community development approach, this program integrates organic waste management with community economic empowerment, especially farmer women groups (KWT), through the cultivation  of Black Soldier Flies (BSF) or maggot larvae. The research uses a descriptive qualitative method with interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The results of the study show that the PELIKAS program has a positive impact on three main aspects: (1) the environment, by reducing the volume of organic waste and increasing soil fertility with kasgot; (2) social, through increasing community participation and solidarity, as well as the distribution of crops to vulnerable groups; and (3) the economy, by increasing the income of KWT members and developing products with selling value such as organic fertilizers and processed foods. However, challenges remain in terms of institutional and financial sustainability. The conclusion of this study confirms that PELIKAS is a CSR model based on community empowerment that is effective and can be replicated in other regions to support the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) related to the environment, food security, and economic equality.

Abstract

This program was created to assist farmers with issues, such as high production costs and low harvest yields. However, reality in the field shows that the implementation of the SPM Program is still far from expectations, both in terms of achievements and the impact produced. The problems encountered by the researchers included farmers’ low understanding of the SPM Program, lack of outreach, ongoing assistance, and training from the Agriculture Office and the local government. In addition, there is minimal community participation in the SPM Program, inadequate infrastructure for implementing the SPM Program, and a limited number of facilitators to carry out the program. This study used a qualitative design with descriptive statistics. This study focuses on the empowerment of farmers through the Sawah Pokok Murah program to increase rice production by the Agriculture Office of Pesisir Selatan Regency in Nagari Koto Berapak, as viewed from the implementation of the program and the influencing factors. Informants were selected using purposive sampling, which is an intentional selection based on considerations relevant to the research focus. The informants in this study included the Agriculture Office of Pesisir Selatan Regency, SPM Program Extension Cadres for Bayang District, Wali Nagari, Leader of the Farmer Group, SPM program mobilizer for Nagari Koto Berapak, and members of the community participating in the SPM Program who were also selected using purposive sampling. Data collection techniques included interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model, which involves data collection, reduction, display, verification, and conclusion drawing. The research results show that the SPM Program in Nagari Koto Berapak has produced positive outcomes, including increased farmer capacity (Human Development), increased productivity through MTOT (≈5 → 12 tons/ha) and cost efficiency (Business Development), as well as promoting environmentally friendly practices (Environmental Development). In addition, the program has successfully reactivated farmer groups (Institutional Development), although the level of independence still needs improvement. The main obstacles faced include limited managerial capacity and capital as well as less-than-optimal private sector partnerships. Some of these obstacles have been addressed with support from the Food Brigade, the World Bank/UBI, and commitments from the Agriculture Office.

Abstract

The aims of this study were to determine the effectiveness of market service fee collection management at Nanggalo Market in increasing the local revenue of Padang City, to identify obstacles, and to develop plans to improve performance All 12 traders, the head of the Nanggalo Market Technical Implementation Unit, fee collectors, and employees of the Padang City Trade Office were used as informants. Interviews, field observations, and document studies were used to collect the data. The data validity was tested using triangulation techniques and data sources. The data analysis used the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana, which included data presentation, conclusion drawing, and data reduction. Although the target was achieved, the QRIS e-retribution system had a high level of merchant compliance. There are issues with centralistic planning, labor shortages, inadequate telecommunications infrastructure, lack of transparency, and lack of digital literacy. Therefore, even though the target was achieved, the retribution management of the Nanggalo Market is still not optimal overall. Therefore, a participatory forum and the improvement of officers are needed.

Abstract

Law enforcement plays a crucial role in maintaining public safety and welfare, making the reputation of law enforcement agencies a key concern, particularly in the digital space. This study maps the research landscape of the reputation of law enforcement organizations on social media through a bibliometric approach. Data was collected from Google Scholar using Publish or Perish (keywords: "organizational reputation," "law enforcement," "social media"; period 2020–2025), cleaned in Mendeley, manually selected for relevance (PRISMA), descriptively analyzed using Excel, and mapped with VOSviewer (network, overlay, density). A total of 100 publications were collected, with the trend showing a sharp increase in the last three years, contributing 83 publications out of the total, indicating a shift from the periphery to the mainstream. Using VOSViewer visualization, four clusters were identified in this study. Overlay shows a shift from a protective focus to digital communication management and public legitimacy; density highlights density in "media,” "law,” "Indonesia" and "data" and gaps in "credibility,” "Instagram" and "victim.” This trend shows a relationship between the reputation of law enforcement agencies and good, data-driven, and transparent digital communication strategies. However, there is a need for further research on the credibility, effectiveness, regulation, and performance of law enforcement agencies.

Abstract

This research emphasizes the intersection between China’s Guanxi principle and capitalism in shaping market access for Multinational corporations (MNC) in the country. The analysis draws upon the theories of state capitalism and transnational capitalism to examine how the guanxi principle functions as both an informal institution and a strategic business tool that serves as a mediator of the power dynamics between the state and private firms. According to this research’s qualitative analysis of secondary sources and case studies, the results indicate that guanxi-capitalism serves as a hybrid mechanism that combines a traditional social networking mechanism among its people with modern economic practices, in which the purpose is to emphasize trust-building, minimize transaction costs, and streamline the MNCs to navigate within the institutional voids. This paper argues that guanxi-capitalism not only enhances formal legal frameworks but also serves as a balancer between state control and private control of the market. Unfortunately, there are numerous Western criticisms regarding the high possibility of corruption and lack of transparency, which are regarded as ethical dilemmas within guanxi capitalism, which occurred in a past MNC operational within China. This study concludes that guanxi-capitalism serves as an example of a blended model of capitalism that combines social norms, state intervention within the market, and global economic participation, which simultaneously redefines traditional Western market governance.
Proof of marital seizure against joint property in a marriage resulting from divorce (A case study of decisions no. 533/Pdt.G/2021/Pa.Bn And No. 561/Pdt.G/2025/Pa.Krw) Rikal Rikal; Akhmad Muslih; Wafiya Wafiya

Abstract

The marital beslag plays an important role in protecting common property. The urgency of submitting a marital beslag request was to protect the integrity of the communal property so that, during the process, neither the husband nor the wife could transfer the communal property to a third party. Sometimes, the marital beslag request might have been granted or denied by the judge. The purpose of this research was to understand and analyze the reasons why judges did not grant marital beslag requests, to understand and analyze the evidence of the marital beslag submitted by the plaintiff so that it could be accepted by the judge, and to examine and analyze Religious Court Decision Number 533/Pdt. G/2021/PA.Bn and Decision No. 561/Pdt. Bn. G/2025/PA.Krw regarding marital status. This study employs normative legal research. The research approach used in this thesis is legislative, conceptual, and case-based. The analysis results indicate that (1) In Decision Number 533/Pdt. G/2021/PA.Bn, a marital beslag could not be granted because the lawsuit was declared obscuur libel (vague/unclear), thus formally not meeting the requirements of legal proceedings (Article 8 RBg jo. Article 118 HIR). Meanwhile, in Decision No. 561/Pdt. G/2025/PA.Krw, the marital beslag was denied because the divorce lawsuit as the main matter was not materially proven, so the matter of joint property along with its marital beslag was automatically not accepted; (2) The requirements for accepting marital beslag are: the lawsuit must not be vague, the object of the dispute must be described in detail; there must be authentic evidence demonstrating that the property is joint property acquired during the marriage; there must be urgent reasons to protect the property from potential transfer or concealment; and the seizure must not harm third parties. Failure to meet these requirements, both formally and materially, results in the denial of the marital beslag request. The rejection of marital beslag in Decision Number 533/Pdt. G/2021/PA.Bn and Decision No. 561/Pdt.G/2025/PA.Krw emphasizes that a request for marital beslag could only be granted if it met the formal and material requirements according to the provisions of civil procedural law.
