Abstract

Kintamani slayer orange peel can be extracted into essential oil because it contains terpenoids, sesquiterpenoids, alkanes, alkyl alkanoates, and steroid alcohols. Orange peel contains active substances that can help heal wounds, such as essential oils, ascorbic acid, vitamin E, vitamin A, flavonoids, and polyphenols, and has antioxidant and antibacterial activity. Kintamani orange peel contains flavonoids, alkaloids, saponins, tannins, terpenoids, and essential oils. The main goal of this study is to identify the waste by-product characteristics of Kintamani slayer orange peel in order to achieve zero waste.  Essential oils in Kintamani slayer orange peel (Citrus reticulata) are toxic to Artemia salina Leach shrimp larvae. The GC results on Kintamani slayer orange peel essential oil obtained twelve (12) compound peaks

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to ascertain how employee performance at PT. Liza Christina Garment Industry Sukabumi Regency is impacted by work motivation and discipline. Descriptive and associative research methods with a quantitative approach are employed. 35 respondents from PT. Liza Christina Garment Industry Sukabumi Regency made up the sample for this study, which was carried out utilizing a total sampling approach in conjunction with the non-probability sampling technique. The validity and reliability test was the instrument utilized, followed by the classical assumption test. Multiple linear regression analysis, Pearson correlation analysis, and coefficient of determination analysis were the methods employed to ascertain the link and effect. The findings of the studies that have been done indicate that job motivation has an impact. impact employee performance of 0.588, meaning that a one-time increase in the work variable will result in a 0.588-fold rise in employee performance. The effect of partial work discipline on employee performance is 0.270; a one-time increase in the work discipline variable will result in a 0.270-fold rise in employee performance values. Together or separately, work motivation and work discipline have a 63% positive impact on employee performance, according to the computation results and coefficient of determination. The remaining 37% is influenced by the work environment, collaboration, pay, and other factors that were not examined. Based on these findings, it can be said that work motivation and work discipline, either separately or in combination, significantly impact employee performance as the dependent variable

Abstract

The improvement of the performance of native chicken needs to be balanced with the improvement of its ration. The ingredients of the ration used do not need to be expensive, but good quality, easy to obtain, and available throughout the year. One of the feed ingredients that is widely available and is waste is Cocoa skin. Fermented Cocoa skin has a nutritional content of 2.63%, crude fat 20.14%, crude fiber, 10.39% crude protein, calcium 7.18%, and phosphorus 2.06%. Cocoa skin, in addition to its high crude fiber, also contains antinutrients in the form of tannins. Therefore, fermentation is necessary. The design used in this study was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 (five) treatments and 3 (three) replications. The variables observed were Growth, ration consumption, protein consumption, Whole carcasses harvested when the chickens were 10 weeks old. The provision of fermented Cocoa skin up to 10% did not give a significant effect (P>0.05) on weight gain, final body weight, and whole carcass weight of native chicken aged 3-10 weeks. However, the provision of fermented Cocoa skin flour gave a significant effect on ration consumption, protein consumption, and energy consumption in native chicken aged 3-10 weeks. The best provision was obtained in the treatment of provision of fermented Cocoa skin flour as much as 5%

Abstract

This study used cassava stem charcoal and charcoal from forest fires mixed with tapioca adhesive at different ratios, the aim was to analyze the effect of different adhesive ratios on the quality of charcoal briquettes.Charcoal briquettes are formed using a 40 bar press machine with a pressing time of 10 minutes. The mixture of charcoal briquette raw materials uses a tapioca adhesive ratio of 2%, 4%, 6%, 8% and 10%.Testing is carried out to determine the quality, then analyzed and compared with the SNI 01-6235-2000 standard. The effect of adhesive ratio on adhesive quality was analyzed using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The test results show the following values:density 0.54 g/cm3, moisture content 4.97%, compressive strength 28.43 kg/cm2, volatile matter content 36.02%, ash content 6.36%, fixed carbon content 56.45% and calorific value 6,195 cal/gobtained from a 10% adhesive ratio. The adhesive ratio has a very significant effect on the water content, compressive strength and calorific value; has a significant effect on the density value; and has no significant effect on the volatile matter value, ash content and bound carbon content. The results of charcoal briquette testing mostly meet the standards according to SNI (No. 01-6235-2000)
