Abstract

AKI in Indonesia is still high, mainly due to direct causes such as hemorrhage, infection, eclampsia, and others. Preparation for childbirth through P4K is necessary, but in practice, many mothers are not adequately prepared to face childbirth, thus requiring education, including through WhatsApp (WA) groups. To analyze the influence of health education from the Maternity Planning and Complications Prevention Program (P4K) using WhatsApp groups on the attitudes of third-trimester pregnant mothers regarding childbirth preparation in Kuala Samboja Village in the year 2023. This study employed a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design. The research population consisted of 82 third-trimester pregnant mothers in Kuala Samboja Village from January to March 2023. The sampling technique used the estimation formula, resulting in a sample size of 20 participants. The measurement instruments utilized were the SAP (Scale of Attitude towards Pregnancy) and a questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using the Mann-Whitney test. The description of attitudes among third-trimester pregnant mothers before the intervention in the treatment group had a mean value of 37.10, and after the intervention, the mean value was 64.60. The description of attitudes among third-trimester pregnant mothers before the intervention in the control group had a mean value of 36.00, and after the intervention, the mean value was 53.65. There is a significant difference in attitudes among third-trimester pregnant mothers between the WA Group and the leaflet group in preparing for childbirth, with a significant p-value of 0.000. Education using WhatsApp (WA) Groups is more effective compared to leaflets because the social media platform WA is easier to use and enhances mothers' attitudes towards childbirth preparation

Abstract

The main components in turmeric are essential oils and curcuminoids, which are yellow color substances in turmeric, essential oils, and Curcuminoids can increase the digestibility of dry matter and protein, increase digestive enzymes so that feed digestibility increases and results in the digestive tract emptying faster, and ultimately provide consumption increases. The design used is a completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 (five) treatments and 3 (three) replicates.  The experimental treatments are designated as follows: P0 represents the control group without the addition of turmeric flour, P1 represents the group with 1% turmeric flour, P2 represents the group with 2% turmeric flour, P3 represents the group with 3% turmeric flour, and P4 represents the group with 4% turmeric flour. This study's variables recorded and analyzed included initial body weight, final body weight, weight gain, ration consumption, and feed conversion ratio  The findings of this investigation demonstrated that The incorporation of turmeric flour showed a statistically significant effect (P <0.05) on Final Body Weight, Weight Gain, and Feed Consumption Ratio. However, it was shown that the variables under investigation did not significantly impact ration consumption (P>0.05). Giving turmeric flour up to 2% can provide the best results

Abstract

Pain labor can increase emotional stress on the birthing mother, and can cause fatigue and can have an impact on abnormal uterine muscle function during labor leading to birth complications. One of the non-pharmacological therapies to reduce labor pain is bitter orange aromatherapy, which is a non-pharmacological therapy to reduce or relieve pain in mothers who give birth in the first stage. The type of research used in this research is a quasi experiment with a nonequivalent control group design. Sampling used purposive sampling technique as many as 22 people. Data collection used a visual analog scale pain measuring instrument, data analysis used the Wilcoxon test. The results of the study showed that there was a difference in decreasing the intensity of the pain scale in stage 1 before and after administering bitter orange aroma therapy with a p-value (0.003) and an α value (0.05). Labor pain is caused by contractions of the uterine muscles, stretching of the uterine muscles and psychological conditions, in this case fear, anxiety and tension which can trigger the production of prostaglandine hormones, causing stress. Stress conditions can affect the body's ability to withstand pain. One way to treat pain in birthing mothers is by using non-pharmacological methods by administering bitter orange aromatherapy. Bitter orange aroma therapy influence the decline intensity pain in the first stage of multigravida labor active in the clinic still in 2023

Abstract

This article aims to review and attempt to inform about the concept of building an entrepreneurial spirit. The research methods used are qualitative and literature study or library research. Based on the results of the discussion, it can be concluded that building an entrepreneurial spirit for beginners requires a mature strategy, one of which is the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach. The contextual approach (CTL) is a learning concept that assumes that children will learn better if the environment is created naturally, meaning that learning will be more meaningful if children "work" and "experience" for themselves what they are learning, not just "know it". So that in the end learning is expected to be more meaningful. Then the next step is to build an entrepreneurial spirit through creativity, innovation and motivation. Building entrepreneurship through creativity can be achieved through the ability to think about things in new and unusual ways and produce unique solutions to problems. Then the next step, namely building entrepreneurship through innovation, can be achieved by applying creative solutions to problems and opportunities to improve or enrich people's lives and the process of entrepreneurial innovation is produced from confidence, a clear understanding of goals to generate opportunities. Then the last thing is to build entrepreneurship through motivation, which can be achieved by being able to do something in business
