Abstract

Abstract. Capital structure is related to the amount of long-term debt in the form of a term loan and own capital used to finance the company's assets. Capital structure is also very important for the company because it involves the policy of using the most profitable sources of funds and is part of the financial structure as a permanent expenditure that reflects the comparison between long-term debt with own capital seen from the asset side that reflects the wealth structure in a company. Companies that have high profits will have large internal funding capabilities and can optimize their financial management. By looking at the benefits of a company, it can be determined that the company includes a large company or a small company. The purpose of this study is to test and analyze how the influence of asset structure and profitability on the capital structure at PT. Asuransi Reliance Indonesia Medan branch 2015-2017.The research method used in this study is a quantitative method approach. In this study the data used are primary and secondary data. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. This analysis uses a sample of 31 data. Results based on simultaneous analysis of asset structure and profitability do not affect the capital structure at PT. Insurance Reliance Indonesia. Partially, the asset structure variable to the capital structure has no effect and there is a variable profitability that does not affect the capital structure at PT. Abstract

Abstract. PT.Toba Permai Medan is: a company engaged in the paper trade. The phenomenon that occurs in company is: decreased employee morale. Employees do not have an interest in improving their work, they only complete the responsibilities given but there is no intention to improve work efficiency and effectiveness. The cause of decreased employee morale is thought to be caused by leadership style and rewards. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis. The population in this study was all employees in the company, amounting to 45 people. Samples were taken with a saturated sampling technique where all members of the population were used as samples. Thus, the sample in this study amounted to 45 people. Simultaneous hypothesis test results show that the leadership style and reward variables have an influence on employee morale at PT.Toba Permai Medan. The results of the partial hypothesis test showed that partially each of the leadership style and reward variables had an influence on employee morale at PT.Toba Permai Medan.  Keywords: Leadership Style, Reward, Employee Morale.

Abstract

Abstract. The problem in this study is there is a concurrent position of employee doing the work of buying, paying, reporting usage and watch over the spareparts inventory warehouse and no approval before purchase which make purchase activity often being exchanged. The method used is observation, documentation, and study of literature. The object of research in this study is internal control, inventory and purchasing at PT. Catur Anugerah Sejati, Medan. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative analysis. Results of research in the control environmental components, risk assessment, control activities, and monitoring are not good because it violates the regulations set by the company. The results of research in purchase for the control environment, risk assessment and monitoring components are not good because they have deficiencies that need to be corrected. Conclusion of this research is necessary to add more workers so the division of tasks can be carried out well and need to strict regulations so that workers do not make a purchase before getting approval from the head office.   Keywords: Internal Control, Inventory, Purchasing

Abstract

Abstract.This research was conducted at PT. Sumber Lautan Rezeki. The purpose of this study is to investigate and analyze the effect of Performance and Commitment on Organizational Culture. The population and sample in this study are: employees of PT. Sumber Lautan Rezeki, amounting to 39 people. The sampling technique used is saturation. Data collection techniques are by distributing questionnaires, interviews and documentation studies. Data analysis uses multiple linear regression analysis. The conclusion in this study is that simultaneously Performance and Commitment has a positive and significant effect on Organizational Culture of PT. Sumber Lautan Rezeki. Partially, the positive and significant effect on the organizational culture of PT. Sumber Lautan Rezeki. Partially, Commitment has positive and significant effect on Organizational Culture of PT. Sumber Lautan Rezeki. The magnitude of the coefficient of determination can be seen from the value of Adjusted R Square of 0.304 meaning that performance and commitment can explain organizational culture by 30.4% and the remaining 69.6% is influenced by other variables outside of this study such as: discipline work, competence, compensation and so on.  Keywords: Performance, Commitment, Organizational Culture

Abstract

Abstract. PT. Mega Anugrah Mandiri is a company engaged in distribution of sparepart. The decline in sales effectiveness of motorcycle tires is because the company has not yet made maximum personal selling and the company's sales promotion activities still have obstacles. In this study the population is the customers totaling 50 people. The techniques used for data collection are: interviews, documentation studies and literature studies. Data analysis techniques using Multiple Linear Regression. The results of the study indicate that personal selling and sales promotion simultaneously have a significant effect on the sales effectiveness of motorcycle tires PT. Mega Anugrah Mandiri, and partially sales promotion has a more dominant influence on the sales volume of effectiveness of motorcycle tires PT. Mega Anugrah Mandiri than personal selling. Abstract

Abstract. PT. Trans Sumatra Agung Medan is: a company engaged in the field of Suzuki brand car dealers. The phenomenon that occurs in companies is: a decrease in employee work discipline so that it interferes with company operations. The problem of decreased work discipline at the company allegedly caused by problems with organizational commitment and work culture. The population in this study were all employees in the company, amounting to 43 people. Samples were taken with a saturated sampling technique in which all members of the population were used as samples. Thus the sample in this study amounted to 43 people. Simultaneous hypothesis test results show that simultaneously Organizational Commitment and Work Culture has a significant effect on the Work Discipline of the employees of PT Trans Sumatra Agung, Medan. Partially, Organizational Commitment has a significant effect on the Work Discipline of the employees of PT. Trans Sumatra Agung, Medan and the Work Culture has a significant effect on the Work Discipline of the employees of PT. Abstract

Abstract. PT.Darmasindo Intikaret, Medan is a company engaged in the rubber industry that produces semi-finished goods in the form of rubber latex. There is a problem in productivity at PT.Darmasindo Inti Karet where the output results are not as planned. The wage problem that occurs in production division is the provision of wages based on working hours, but does not make a difference in the amount of wages given per hour on national holidays, or at night. The problem of incentives is the promise of giving incentives that are not kept. The company demands the search for sap for raw materials in large quantities and promises to provide incentives to employees.The population in this study were 120 people. The sample in this study amounted to 120 people. Simultaneous hypothesis test results show that wages and incentives have a significant effect on the work productivity of employees of PT.Darmasindo Intikaret, Medan. The results of the partial hypothesis test indicate that each wage and incentive have a significant effect on the work productivity of PT.Darmasindo Intikaret's employees, Medan.  Keywords: Wages, Incentives, Employee Work Productivity.

Abstract

Abstract. This research was conducted at PT Growth Sumatera Medan. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Marketing Information Systems and Market Segmentation on the Consumer Satisfaction of PT Growth Sumatera Medan.The population and sample in this study were 62 respondents. Data collection techniques are by distributing questionnaires, interviews and documentation studies. Data analysis uses multiple linear regression analysis.The conclusion of the research is that partially that the Marketing Information System has a positive and significant effect on the Consumer Satisfaction of PT Growth Sumatera Medan. Partially, Market Segmentation has a positive and significant influence on PT Growth Sumatra Medan's Consumer Satisfaction. Abstract. PT. Tuahta Maju Ersada is a company engaged in the field of mini PKS (Palm Oil Mill), which has been established since 2008. A good and high reward will motivate employees and low employee loyalty greatly affects employee motivation. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of employee reward and loyalty on the work motivation of PT. Tuahta Advanced Ersada.The research method used is a quantitative analysis method. The data used are primary and secondary data. The study population was 50 people using saturated sampling techniques where all members of the population were sampled. Variables are measured with a Likert scale. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression.Based on simultaneous analysis of employee rewards and loyalty affect the work motivation of employees of PT. Tuahta Advanced Ersada. Partially, there is the effect of reward variables on employee work motivation and there is an influence of employee loyalty on the work motivation of employees of PT. Abstract

Abstract. Organizational commitment is: the attitude or form of employee behavior towards the organization in the form of loyalty and the achievement of the organization's vision, mission, values and goals. High commitment to employees can not be formed just like that, but it requires the application of management and appropriate actions by the company so that employees are comfortable in working and are willing to serve long periods of time such as by forming a good communication fabric and preventing work conflicts in company. The formulation of the problem in this study is the extent of the influence of communication and work conflict on organizational commitment of PT. Surya Tara Jaya Medan.The method used in this study is a survey approach, the type of research is quantitative descriptive and the nature of this research is descriptive explanatory. The population in this study are: permanent employees of PT. Surya Tara Jaya Medan as many as 61 employees. The sampling technique used in this study was: saturated sampling and totaling 61 employees. Data collection method is done by Likert scale. The model of data analysis used to answer hypotheses is multiple regression.The results showed that simultaneously Communication and Work Conflict had a positive and significant effect on the organizational commitment of PT. Surya Tara Jaya Medan and partially the most dominant influence is communication.  Keywords: Communication, Work Conflict, Organizational Commitment
