Abstract

Mackerel tuna (Euthynnus affinis) is a commodity with a high production rate in Banten Bay. Panjang Island, which is geographically located in the waters of Banten Bay, is a potential area for supporting sustainable tuna production. Market demand for this fish continues to grow, yet the lack of precise fishing zone data hampers resource optimization. The WebGIS system was developed to provide potential information on fishing zones for tuna around Panjang Island. Oceanographic data such as sea surface temperature and chlorophyll-a concentration were utilized to predict high-probability areas. This system features GPS-based augmented reality to guide fishers in real time to their targeted locations. Interactive and accurate information presentation facilitates decision-making for fishers. The implementation of this technology enhances fisher productivity while promoting sustainable fishery management. The potential of WebGIS technology offers significant opportunities for advancing Indonesia’s modern fishery sector, particularly for the coastal communities of Panjang Island.

Abstract

The development of information technology encourages companies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of business operations, including in the sales transaction process. PT. Akari requires a system that can simplify transaction management and sales recording and minimize errors. This study designs and builds an Android-based Point of Sale (POS) application that utilizes QR Code technology as a product identification medium. This POS application has a main feature in the form of QR code scanning to accelerate the process of product data input, sales data management, stock recording, and automatic report preparation. Test results indicate that all functions in the application can operate properly on Android devices and are able to increase transaction speed and sales recording accuracy. With this application, PT. Akari obtains a more modern and efficient sales system that supports the digitalization of business processes.

Abstract

This study implements a WhatsApp bot as an automated information service at STMIK Widya Cipta Dharma to assist frontline staff tasks. The system was developed using Node.js and the WhatsApp Web API (Baileys Library) with a rule-based matching approach that maps user keywords to predefined responses. The Waterfall method was applied through analysis, design, implementation, and Black Box Testing. The results show that the bot correctly answered 85% of queries and improved information service efficiency by up to 70%.

Abstract

In today's digital age, the existence of computer networks has become a crucial necessity for various institutions and organizations. Local Area Networks (LANs) and Wireless Local Area Networks (WLANs) are commonly used network infrastructures that support connectivity and information exchange between devices. MikroTik, as one of the network device providers, offers reliable solutions for managing LAN and WLAN networks. With its reputation as a leading network device provider, MikroTik is attracting attention as a potential choice to meet these needs. Additionally, the successful implementation of LAN and WLAN networks on MikroTik can provide practical guidance for organizations currently considering or planning to upgrade their network infrastructure. The focus of this research is the Computer Network Laboratory at UIN Suska Riau, where the effectiveness and efficiency of MikroTik routers and access points are evaluated in a real-world educational environment. This study begins with an overview of MikroTik technology, emphasizing its role in creating a robust and scalable network infrastructure. Furthermore, this research delves into the specific requirements and challenges faced by the Computer Network Laboratory, providing insights into the need for LAN and WLAN integration for seamless connectivity. With a better understanding of MikroTik's potential, it is hoped that the organization's information technology foundation can be strengthened and competitiveness increased in this digital era.

Abstract

Data security is a crucial aspect in managing construction projects, especially for large-scale companies such as PT. Swakarya Perfect. Unprotected data exchange may lead to risks of information leakage, which could impact confidentiality, integrity, and project sustainability. This study aims to implement a data security system using the Rivest Cipher 4 (RC4) algorithm on Android devices, enabling efficient encryption and decryption of construction project data. The research method involves system requirements analysis, application design, RC4 algorithm implementation, and testing of both security strength and application performance. The implementation results show that the developed system can effectively secure construction project data, as the encrypted information cannot be accessed without the proper key. Furthermore, the application demonstrates relatively fast execution time during encryption and decryption processes, making it feasible for mobile use. Therefore, this system contributes to enhancing data security in construction projects at PT. Swakarya Perfect through the application of modern cryptographic technology on Android.

Abstract

Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) is a common digestive disorder, which can cause symptoms such as chest pain, acid regurgitation, and sleep disturbances. In an effort to improve the diagnosis of GERD disease efficiently, this study proposes the development of an expert system using the Case-Based Reasoning (CBR) method. The system aims to diagnose GERD based on previous cases that have been recorded on a case basis. The main steps in system development include data acquisition, knowledge representation, case similarity assessment, and problem solving. This research combines CBR approach with data mining techniques to obtain a more accurate assessment. System testing was performed using existing patient datasets, and the results showed that the system can provide a diagnosis of GERD with a high degree of accuracy. This research offers a significant contribution to the medical field in improving the process of diagnosis and management of GERD disease efficiently and effectively.

Abstract

The development of information technology encourages cooperatives to adapt to digital systems to improve efficiency, transparency, and accuracy in managing membership and financial data. This study aims to analyze user needs as the basis for designing a user interface for a cooperative membership and financial management application using the Design Thinking method. This method consists of five stages: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. The study focused on needs analysis with the initial stages: empathize, define, and ideate. The empathize stage involved interviews with cooperative administrators and members, followed by identification through the define stage. The analysis results indicated that users require an efficient, secure, and transparent digital system with key features such as member registration, online payments, bill notifications, and automated financial reports. The ideate stage resulted in a design idea that comprehensively describes user needs. This allows for a design that adapts to the analysis results. Thus, the Design Thinking approach has proven effective in understanding user problems and needs and provides a strong foundation for designing a cooperative application interface that is user-friendly and appropriate to the organization's operational context.

Abstract

Fluctuations in the share price of PT Telkom Indonesia (TLKM) are a major obstacle for individual investors, who generally rely on non-numerical analysis. This study attempts to create a simple prediction solution by comparing the effectiveness of three machine learning algorithms, namely linear regression, support vector machine (SVM), and neural network (NN), then applying them to an interactive web application using the Streamlit framework. Historical TLKM stock data was prepared through a feature engineering process before performance testing. According to the comparison results, the Support Vector Machine (SVM) model proved to have the best predictive ability compared to Linear Regression and NN. The superiority of SVM can be seen from the lowest RMSE (Root Mean Squared Error) value and the highest R² (Coefficient of Determination) score, which shows that SVM is better at capturing non-linear patterns and the complexity of the TLKM market. The selected model was then integrated into the Streamlit application, which provides real-time prediction results and comparison visualizations. This research successfully bridges the gap between the accuracy of advanced machine learning models and the real needs of investors by providing an informative and easy-to-use decision-making tool.

Abstract

The learning assessment process in the PRODISTIK MAN 1 Pasuruan class is carried out manually; therefore, it is less efficient and prone to errors. The purpose of this study is to develop an Android-based assessment application to make it easier for teachers and provide direct access to student scores. The method used is Waterfall, through the stages of needs analysis, design, implementation, and testing. Data were obtained through interviews and literature reviews. The application is equipped with login features, value input, and value access. Testing was carried out using black box and usability testing with 20 respondents. The results showed that all application functions run as expected with user satisfaction of 93.37%. This research is expected to contribute to the process of effective learning assessment.

Abstract

PT. Bank Central Asia Tbk KCP Pulo Brayan is one of the branches that has many customers carrying out transactions according to customer needs. One of the missions of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk KCP Pulo Brayan is to understand customer needs and provide support services to achieve optimal levels of customer satisfaction. The assessment of the level of customer satisfaction of each branch is carried out by the head office by conducting random telephone calls to customers who transact at KCP Pulo Brayan. The weakness of the assessment system is the lack of transparency of the results of customer satisfaction assessments conducted by the head office to the KCP Pulo Brayan office. KCP Pulo Brayan is still not optimal in service evaluation so that the evaluation results from customer assessments are still considered very lacking by the head office. To overcome this problem, PT. Bank Central Asia Tbk KCP Pulo Brayan requires a system to determine the level of customer satisfaction. The system developed uses a questionnaire filled out by customers with Android devices. The result of the customer satisfaction level system is an application system designed based on Android for the customer service system at KCP Pulo Brayan with the application of the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method. The application of this method aims to identify service attributes that need primary attention, as well as being the basis for providing recommendations to improve overall service quality.
