Abstract

This research aims to utilize Python models for real-time data processing in monitoring systems for the oil and gas industry, leveraging pressure and temperature sensors. The Internet of Things (IoT) is used to collect and process sensor data directly. Using Python methods, the data is analyzed to detect patterns, anomalies, and predict potential damage. Anomaly detection using the K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) and Isolation Forest algorithms successfully detected operational anomalies with high accuracy. KNN achieved an accuracy of 90%, while Isolation Forest produced better results with an anomaly detection accuracy of 92%. Furthermore, the equipment failure prediction model built using the Logistic Regression and Random Forest algorithms showed good predictive ability. Logistic Regression reached an accuracy of 90%, with a precision of 89% and a recall of 86%. Meanwhile, Random Forest provided better prediction results with an accuracy of 92%, a precision of 90%, and a recall of 88%. The results of this research indicate that the application of Python models for IoT-based real-time data processing can significantly improve the efficiency of monitoring systems and accelerate problem detection in the field, with excellent detection and prediction accuracy.

Abstract

In the digital era, digital learning platforms have become an essential tool in the educational process. However, the success of a platform is not only determined by the availability of content but also by a satisfying user experience. To achieve this, developers often adopt the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) strategy, which allows them to release a product with minimal features to quickly obtain user feedback. Meanwhile, the Design Thinking approach provides a framework for deeply understanding user needs. This paper combines these two approaches to designing the UI/UX for the digital learning platform "Mentor on Demand", focusing on an optimized user experience where the usability testing results are obtained with scores for Students = 6 and Mentors = 5.9 both getting Pass Results.

Abstract

This study aims to design a web-based Expert System that is able to diagnose post-harvest handling of oil palm using the Naive Bayes method. In addition, this study also aims to explore optimal harvesting and post-harvest handling management in order to produce high-quality oil yields. This study was conducted at PT Sawit Sukses Sejahtera, the location where the experts work. Data collection was carried out through interviews with experts related to post-harvest handling of oil palm fruit, as well as literature studies to obtain data relevant to the research topic. The Naive Bayes method is used based on the probability found in the post-harvest handling process of oil palm, while system development follows the ESDLC (Expert System Development Life Cycle) methodology, which is the basis for designing and developing expert systems.

Abstract

This research aims to redesign and evaluate the usability of the SPADA website at Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) by applying Nielsen’s Poisson Model in usability testing. The primary objective is to enhance the website's interface for both new and returning users while reducing the number of respondents needed for usability tests without compromising the validity of the results. The research involves several prototype development iterations, each tested by different respondent groups. Results indicate significant improvements in user satisfaction and a reduction in task completion time with each iteration. Nielsen’s Poisson Model was effective in identifying usability issues, with major problems resolved in early iterations and minor ones discovered in later phases. The final prototype is expected to significantly improve the usability of the SPADA UNPRI website.

Abstract

This study aims to compare the performance of several programming languages, namely PHP, Java, and Python, in determining the primality of numbers using Fermat's Theorem. The selection of programming languages is based on their popularity and efficiency in cryptographic algorithm implementation. The method used is a comparative experiment, with measurement parameters including execution time, memory consumption, and result accuracy. The results show that Java excels in execution efficiency with the fastest time, while PHP demonstrates the lowest memory consumption. Although Python is slower, all three programming languages produced accurate results in primality testing. This research concludes that Java is the best choice for applications requiring high speed, while PHP is more suitable for resource-limited applications. Future research is recommended to test more programming languages and use a larger number dataset.

Abstract

This study examines audience responses to the educational program Clash of Champions produced by Ruangguru and inspired by the South Korean format University War. Through its interactive academic competition concept, Clash of Champions has succeeded in attracting public interest, triggering various reactions on social media, and providing a basis for conducting opinion studies to understand audience views. This study uses the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm to classify netizen comments on platform X (Twitter) into positive, negative, and neutral sentiments. The data processing process includes data collection through scraping, text preprocessing, and word weighting using the Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) algorithm. Model evaluation with accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score metrics shows various audience opinions, with the majority showing positive sentiments towards the educational innovation of the program. This model achieves an accuracy of 79%, precision of 79%, recall of 95%, and F1-score of 86% for the positive sentiment classification. This indicates a strong appreciation from the public for the educational value of this program. This study is expected to provide insight for educational content developers to create educational and interesting programs.

Abstract

This journal examines the management of a digital community at Ralif Motor Showroom to support marketing efforts and business performance in addressing competitive challenges. The digital community is utilized to strengthen customer interactions, promotion, and loyalty, contributing to market expansion and building consumer trust. The study employs a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews with showroom representatives and several customers. The analysis reveals that while the digital community has positive impacts, such as increasing showroom visibility and fostering closer relationships with customers, its implementation faces challenges. Key issues include limited resources, inefficient manual recording processes, and suboptimal social media strategies. As a solution, this study recommends adopting an integrated management system, such as technology for stock management and transaction recording. Additionally, implementing a more structured and innovative social media strategy is necessary to support promotions and enhance customer interactions effectively. By taking these steps, the showroom is expected to improve operational efficiency, expand market share, and drive sustainable business growth.

Abstract

The Academic Information System (SIAKAD) is a vital component in managing academic data at higher education institutions, including Universitas Sari Mulia. This study aims to evaluate the internal compatibility of the SIAKAD application, specifically the alignment and consistency of data across modules such as student profiles, course registration (KRS), academic grades, attendance, and payment. The primary issue addressed is the potential for data mismatches between modules, which could affect academic processes and user trust. This research employs a qualitative approach using the black-box testing method to assess the application's technical performance based on predefined test scenarios, alongside questionnaires to evaluate user experiences. The testing results demonstrate that all features, including login, profile management, attendance, grading, and payment, functioned as expected according to the test scenarios. Based on responses from 18 participants, 72.22% of users found the application easy to use and consistent in displaying data, though some features were deemed less optimal (5.56%). This study concludes that the SIAKAD application at Universitas Sari Mulia effectively supports academic data management, but further development is needed to improve feature quality and user satisfaction.
