Abstract

This research is motivated by a change or decline in the religious behavior of teenagers in Jorong Parit Panjang, where many teenagers use social media excessively, which makes their religious behavior show a less than good attitude. Such as often neglecting to perform worship because they are too engrossed in using social media, as well as a lack of socialization in the community. In this research, the method used is a quantitative method with product moment correlation coefficient data analysis techniques using SPSS 25. Using data collection techniques through questionnaires. In this research, the sample used was 35 people. The results of this research show that there is an influence between the use of social media on the religious behavior of teenagers in Jorong Parit Panjang, Lubuk Basung District, Agam Regency with a correlation coefficient value of 0.760 in the interval 0.75-0.99. This means that the independent variable (Use of Social Media) has an influence on the dependent variable (Adolescent Religious Behavior), which means it has a very strong influence. Meanwhile, 0.05 or (5%) is influenced by other factors and the coefficient of determination is 0.760 or 76%. So based on the results of this research it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between the use of Social Media on the religious behavior of teenagers in Jorong Parit Panjang, Lubuk Basung District, Agam Regency.

Abstract

The traditional Batak house, known as Rumah Bolon, functions not only as a dwelling, but also as a symbol of identity and cultural heritage for the Batak people. This study aims to analyze the traditional Batak house using structuralist, cultural anthropological and identity theory approaches, taking into account historical and descriptive aspects. Through this study, it is hoped to discover how the traditional Batak house functions in the daily life of the Batak people, reflects cultural values and plays a role in the formation of social identity. The methods used are a literature review and structural analysis of the architectural and functional elements of the traditional Batak house, as well as descriptive historical and cultural studies. The research results show that the traditional Batak house has a deep meaning in the social, cultural and spiritual contexts of the Batak community, as well as the importance of preserving the traditional house as a cultural symbol that still stands today.

Abstract

Microteaching learning programs are considered to be very necessary in line with developments in the times that influence the mindset of students and society which is increasingly complex and difficult to control. Therefore, prospective teachers need to familiarize themselves with teaching practices to hone good classroom communication skills and manage classroom conditions through systematic field exercises. The MPAI Universitas Sunan Giri Surabaya Islamic Religious Education Master's Study Program is a higher education institution that pays attention to the importance of preparing professional prospective educators or teachers who are ready to face the challenges of the dynamic world of education. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method by collecting data through CAR Classroom Action Research observation research techniques or classroom action research which is directly carried out by educational practitioner teachers in the classroom to improve the learning process. The results of research using this method shows that implementing the microteaching program consistently and significantly can improve pedagogical skills, especially in the aspect of classroom management with a participatory audience and active and creative delivery of material by teachers. Thus, microteaching organized by the MPAI Unsuri study program must be maintained and developed into even better activities. It is hoped that this microteaching program will be an important focus for each element that has tasks, functions and joint contributions to maximize the goals of microteaching in all courses.

Abstract

This study aims to identify Diversity based on gender, work skills, and work motivation on employee performance in the city of Palembang. The study was conducted using a quantitative approach, through a survey with a questionnaire to employees in the city of Palembang. The analysis methods used include descriptive analysis, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, and hypothesis testing. The results of the study indicate that gender, work skills, and work motivation have a significant effect on employee performance in the city of Palembang. Gender diversity contributes to increased creativity and problem solving, relevant work skills increase task efficiency, while work motivation encourages employee commitment and dedication. These findings provide important implications for organizations in designing more effective human resource management strategies. The F test shows that simultaneously, the three variables significantly affect employee performance in the city of Palembang. Partially, the t test reveals that gender diversity, work skills, and work motivation have a positive effect on employee performance in the city of Palembang.

Abstract

Gamification has become one of the innovative methods in education, especially in the context of distance learning (PJJ). In this article, we explore the application of gamification in the learning process to improve students' learning motivation and digital literacy. This study was conducted by researchers from the Faculty of Education, State University of Medan, with data collected from various trusted sources and the results of mini-research on Jalan Elang Ujung Perumnas Mandala Medan. Gamification has emerged as an innovative method in education, especially in the context of distance learning (PJJ). The study conducted by researchers from the Education Science, State University of Medan, explores the application of gamification to improve students' learning motivation and digital literacy. Gamification refers to the use of game elements in non-game contexts to increase engagement and motivation. In education, this can include the use of points, badges, and challenges that encourage students to participate more actively in the learning process. The results of the study showed that the application of gamification can significantly increase students' learning motivation. The combination of good digital literacy and high reading interest contributed to this increase in motivation, with digital literacy having an influence of 46.8% and reading interest of 46.2%. Students who have digital literacy skills tend to be more confident in learning new material, while increasing interest in reading can be encouraged through gamification which makes the learning process more interesting and interactive. Thus, the application of gamification in education has proven to be effective in creating a dynamic and interesting learning environment, so that students are motivated to be actively involved in the learning process.

Abstract

The implementation of PAKEM in various educational institutions faces various challenges. Among them are teachers' limited understanding of the comprehensive concept and practice of PAKEM, as well as resistance to changes in more interactive teaching methods. In addition, facilities and infrastructure that support active learning are still inadequate in many schools, especially in remote areas. This hinders the full implementation of PAKEM and causes inequality in the quality of education received by students. In addition, although PAKEM is recognized as effective in increasing student engagement and deepening their understanding of the subject matter, many still question its effectiveness in improving long-term academic outcomes. Other factors such as more complex classroom management and the need for training and support for teachers to implement PAKEM effectively are also challenges. In this study, the author used a qualitative descriptive method with the main data source from library data. Furthermore, the data was coded, reduced, and conclusions were drawn. The results of the study show that the PAKEM learning strategy (Active, Creative, Effective, and Enjoyable Learning) offers an innovative approach that aims to increase student engagement in the learning process. By encouraging students to actively participate, think creatively, and experience enjoyable learning experiences, PAKEM is able to create a more dynamic and meaningful educational environment. Although this strategy faces challenges, such as the need for longer preparation time and complex classroom management, the benefits are far greater.

Abstract

This study examines the role of women in the agricultural sector, which often receives insufficient attention despite their significant contributions to food security and economic development. The research aims to analyze women's contributions in this sector from the perspective of Islamic law, highlighting the social, cultural, and structural challenges they face. The research employs a literature review methodology, encompassing the analysis of various academic sources, Islamic legal documents, and relevant empirical studies. The findings indicate that women play a vital role in every stage of agricultural processes, from production to the distribution of crops. However, barriers such as limited access to land, capital, technology, and education often impede their full potential. Islamic law upholds the principles of gender justice and equality, affirming women's rights to actively participate in economic activities, including agriculture. The study underscores the importance of empowering women through policies that enhance resource access, education, and legal protection while addressing patriarchal norms that restrict their role in decision-making.

Abstract

Pembelian obat herbal semakin menjadi perhatian di tengah meningkatnya kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya kesehatan dan preferensi terhadap alternatif pengobatan yang minim efek samping. Tujuan dari tinjauan pustaka ini adalah untuk menyelidiki bagaimana keputusan untuk membeli obat herbal dipengaruhi oleh kualitas produk dan kepercayaan. Dalam hal ini, individu dapat dibujuk untuk memilih obat herbal sebagai alternatif yang lebih aman dan lebih efisien dengan kriteria seperti kualitas produk yang tinggi dan kepercayaan pelanggan. Studi ini menganalisis sejumlah sumber ilmiah terkait dengan menggunakan pendekatan tinjauan pustaka. Temuan studi menunjukkan bahwa keputusan untuk membeli obat herbal secara signifikan dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor seperti kualitas produk dan kepercayaan. Dampak kualitas produk sangat penting karena barang berkualitas tinggi dapat meningkatkan kebahagiaan dan loyalitas pelanggan, dan kepercayaan memastikan bahwa pelanggan akan memilih barang yang telah terbukti aman dan memiliki sedikit dampak negatif. Oleh karena itu, untuk mempromosikan keputusan pembelian yang bijaksana, produsen obat herbal dan pihak terkait diperlukan untuk terus meningkatkan kualitas produk dan menumbuhkan kepercayaan publik.

Abstract

Legal protection for consumers in the banking sector has become an important issue along with the rapid development of digital technology that is changing the landscape of financial services. This article aims to analyze the challenges faced by consumers in banking transactions in the digital era and explore solutions that can be applied to improve consumer protection. Technological developments, such as mobile banking services, digital payments, and the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in customer data analysis, bring benefits, but also give rise to new risks such as threats to personal data security, cyber fraud, and inequality in access to services. This article examines existing regulations, such as the Consumer Protection Law and Bank Indonesia policies, as well as banking practices that can help protect consumers, including information transparency, strengthening cybersecurity systems, and implementing the principle of prudence. Through a legal analysis approach and case studies, this article provides recommendations for improving regulations and increasing the role of supervisory institutions in order to maintain a balance between digital innovation and consumer rights protection in the banking sector.

Abstract

Client readiness is a key factor influencing success in the counseling guidance process. This article presents a literature review related to indicators of client readiness that are important in determining the effectiveness of counseling. Various studies have shown that client readiness can be influenced by internal factors, such as personal motivation, self-awareness, and emotional readiness, as well as external factors, such as social support and life situations faced. This article identifies key indicators of client readiness, including openness to change, ability to recognize problems, and commitment to be actively involved in the counseling process. In addition, the implications of these indicators for counseling practice are also discussed, including the importance for counselors to develop appropriate strategies in assessing and facilitating client readiness. By understanding indicators of client readiness, counseling practitioners can design more effective interventions that focus on increasing client motivation and involvement. This article is expected to provide useful insights for counselors and researchers to better understand the dynamics of client readiness and its application in more optimal counseling practice.
