Abstract

In this journal, evaluation of banking performance in implementing the principles of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) is discussed. GCG has become a very significant aspect in the banking sector, especially after the global financial crisis in 2008. This research aims to evaluate the extent to which banks have succeeded in implementing GCG principles and the impact on their performance. The research methods used include literature studies and analysis of historical data on banking performance. The research results show that banks that implement GCG principles well tend to have more positive performance in the long term. They have lower levels of risk, greater trust from customers, and better relationships with shareholders and regulators. This research provides valuable insight into the significance of GCG in the banking industry and its positive impact on banking performance. By implementing good GCG, banks can achieve long-term sustainability and reduce the risks associated with their operations.

Abstract

This research aims to determine and analyze the politeness and politeness character values of class V students at SD Negeri Purwoyoso 04 through the implementation of 5S regulations at school. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques carried out by means of observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research show that the implementation of 5S regulations at SD Negeri Purwoyoso 04 is as follows: a) When arriving at the school gate, students get off their bicycles and shake hands and greet the picket teacher standing at the school gate, b) Students give a smile to the teacher who is standing at the school gate. welcoming his arrival to school, c) Students who are late for class say hello first before entering class and then shake hands with the class V teacher, d) When meeting the teacher outside the classroom, students greet him by giving a greeting. However, it cannot be denied that there are challenges in implementing politeness and politeness values through the 5S regulations, including students who still feel embarrassed or are reluctant to interact. Consistent efforts and patience from the school are very important to overcome this. Along with the 5S regulations, there has been a positive change in students' attitudes. Although there are still some students who have not fully adapted, there has been an increase in awareness of the importance of being polite and polite.

Abstract

Flow akademik mencakup kelancaran, keberhasilan, dan pengalaman siswa dalam sistem pendidikan. Kurikulum yang monoton dalam pengajaran konvensional di sekolah menyebabkan siswa bosan dalam pembelajarannya. Permasalahan kebosanan di sekolah dapat menjadi faktor yang mengganggu proses pendidikan siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dukungan sosial dan flow akademik pada siswa di SMAN 8 Gowa. Dalam penelitian ini, sebanyak 305 siswa menjadi subjek penelitian. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah skala dukungan sosial dan skala flow akademik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman Rho. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara dukungan sosial dan flow akademik pada siswa. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh koefisien korelasi (rxy) sebesar 0,587 dengan tingkat signifikansi sebesar 0,000. Hasil ini mengindikasikan bahwa semakin tinggi tingkat dukungan sosial yang diterima oleh siswa, semakin tinggi pula tingkat flow akademik yang mereka alami. Temuan ini memiliki implikasi penting dalam konteks pendidikan. Dukungan sosial yang diberikan oleh guru, teman sebaya, dan keluarga dapat memengaruhi pengalaman belajar siswa. Ketika siswa merasa didukung secara sosial, mereka cenderung lebih terlibat dalam proses pembelajaran, fokus, dan merasa lebih percaya diri dalam menghadapi tugas-tugas akademik.

Abstract

The world of medicine is experiencing developments in accordance with the times and human abilities. As living creatures, humans in their daily lives will always encounter various types of illnesses, both mild and serious. Alternative medicine is non-medical treatment where the equipment and materials used are not included in standard medical treatment. The type of research used is library research, which is based on qualitative descriptive data. The focus of this research is on the Fiqh Perspective on Urine Therapy in Toothache Cases. Urine therapy used to treat toothache is said to be effective because the internal treatment is gargling. So it is clear that the use of urine as a therapeutic drug is forbidden internally while externally it is permissible considering that the author has found no evidence that can substantiate its prohibition, but it must be cleaned from the body, especially when performing worship.

Abstract

Adolescence is a transition period from childhood to early adulthood.  According to Erik Erikson, adolescence is synonymous with the process of finding one’s identity versus identity confusion.  At this time, teenagers must decide who they are, what their circumstances are and what goals they want to achieve.  Teenagers deliberately carry out various experiments in an effort to find their compatibility with the world.  In this process, teenagers experience various identity conflicts.  Genetic factors play a role in a person’s susceptibility to experiencing anxiety, because if there is a history of anxiety in the family, the risk of experiencing anxiety disorders can be higher.  Traumatic experiences, especially in childhood, often trigger the development of anxiety.  Meanwhile, environmental stress such as financial, work or relationship problems can trigger anxiety.  According to Ellis, the cognitive restructuring technique is Cognitive Restructuring, which focuses on efforts to identify and change the client’s negative thoughts or irrational self-statements and beliefs into positive and rational thoughts.  The purpose of this discussion is how to change the way of thinking of a teenager who is currently experiencing increasing anxiety or stress, such as being unable to change his way of thinking and mental patterns properly so that his cognition can be straightened out positively using Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT),  a cognitive restructuring.

Abstract

Aerostreet is one of the local shoe brands that is popular among the public in Indonesia. With the high popularity of Aerostreet today, it is important to conduct media monitoring to find out and track issues or information related to the company on various media platforms. This study aims to analyze the results of media monitoring of Aerostreet in the period 1–29 February 2024 using the quantitative descriptive method. Data collection was conducted online using media monitoring tools such as Brand24. The data obtained through Brand24 includes websites, news, forums, videos, blogs, Twitter, and Tiktok. The results of this study show that the mentions and reach of Aerostreet are 361 and 1,284,781, respectively. The number of positive sentiments about Aerostreet is 96, or 74%. The number of news related to Aerostreet is 52, with a very fluctuating increase every week. The most discussed news topics by the media related to Aerostreet are about Gibran and Aerostreet's collaboration in supporting the local shoe industry, quality local shoe recommendations, and also off-air events of Aerostreet's collaboration with Tokopedia in launching Looney Tunes T-shirt products.

Abstract

Nyamuk Aedes aegypti merupakan salah satu vektor utama dari penyakit Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD). Penggunaan larvisida yang umum digunakan oleh masyarakat adalah larvisida kimiawi temephos dengan merek dagang abate. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatahui perbandingan serbuk daun sirih (Piper Betle L), daun cengkeh (Syzygium Aromaticum L)  dan daun pala (Myristica Fragrans) dalam kemasan paper tea bag terhadap kematian jentik Aedes aegypti. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian Eksperimental sederhana dengan rancangan penelitian post test control design. Besar sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 900 ekor jentik Aedes aegypti. Dosis yang digunakan adalah 3 gram ,4 gram dan 5 gram. Setiap dosis dalam satu wadah di isi 25 ekor jentik Aedes aegypti. Jentik diamati dalam 1x24 jam dengan 3 kali percobaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa jumlah rata–rata dan persentase kematian larva Aedes aegypti meggunakan serbuk daun cengkeh yaitu pada dosis 3 gram kematian larva sebanyak 2 (8%), untuk dosis 4 gram kematian larva sebanyak 3 (12%), dan untuk dosis 5 gram kematian larva sebanyak 5 (20%). Menggunakan serbuk daun sirih yaitu pada dosis 3 gram kematian larva sebanyak 2 (8%), untuk dosis 4 gram kematian larva sebanyak 3 (12%), dan untuk dosis 5 gram kematian larva sebanyak 5 (20%). Sedangkan pada serbuk daun pala yaitu untuk dosis 3 gram kematian larva sebanyak 4 (16%), untuk dosis 4 gram kematian larva sebanyak 5 (20%) dan untuk dosis 5 gram kematian larva sebanyak 6 (24%). Disarankan kepada masyarakat agar menggunakan insektisida alami dengan memanfaatkan tumbuhan yang ada disekitar tempat tinggal seperti daun cengkeh, daun sirih daun pala untuk dijadikan insektisida alami dalam penggantian abate dalam meminimalisir jumlah larva nyamuk Aedes aegypti.

Abstract

This research aims to compare several aspects of research results between 2019-2024. The method used is Preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and meta-analyses (PRISMA). The aim of this research is to review several literature studies regarding the relationship between nutritional status and the cognitive development of early childhood. Based on the research results, it was concluded that there is an influence of nutritional status on children's cognitive development. Nutritional status has a significant influence on children's cognitive development. This is evident from the average significance value of 0.3937 from the effect size of the ten articles studied, indicating that nutritional status has a real impact on children's cognitive development.

Abstract

This paper aims to discuss the call and mission of Paul as an apostle in the text of Galatians 1: 11-24 and its relevance for STIPAS of Kupang Archdiocese students. Paul's call is seen as a divine call that fundamentally changed his life, showing that God's call has extensive transformational power. In addition, Paul's calling requires perseverance and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, teaching students to live in dependence on God and face challenges with courage. Relevance for STIPAS of Kupang Archdiocese students includes spiritual development, inclusivity, and dependence on the Holy Spirit in their ministry. Therefore, understanding and appreciation of Paul's call is an important foundation for STIPAS of Kupang Archdiocese students in preparing themselves to become faithful spiritual leaders in proclaiming the Gospel.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the intrinsic elements of Sherina Salsabila's children's novel "Mami Kepo" using a structuralism approach. The method used in this study was content analysis, which involved data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Research has found that the novel has main characters with distinctive characteristics and values that can be used as teaching materials in learning. Family themes and friendships are presented in a heartwarming way, making the novel not only entertaining but also giving positive messages about kindness, friendship, and the spirit of living a life of joy. The research also highlights the importance of understanding the intrinsic elements of children's novels to create solid and meaningful literary works and provide a deeper reading experience for children. hese research findings contribute to the development of children's literature and education. The study provides insight into the structural elements of children's novels, including narrative structure, character, theme, language, and symbolism. The study also emphasized the importance of analyzing the intrinsic elements of a work of literature to understand the message the author intended and to appreciate the work of literature from a structuralist perspective. The implications of this study are relevant to educators, parents, and writers who are interested in creating quality children's literature that can inspire and educate children. Overall, this study contributes significantly to the field of literature and children's education, and is expected to inspire further research in this field.
