Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of motivation and work discipline on employee performance PT. PLN (Persero) Central Load Regulator Unit of Java, Madura, and Bali at the Office of the DKI Jakarta and Banten Load Regulator Implementation Unit, both partially and simultaneously. The method used is the Quantitative Associative method. The population in this study were employees at PT. PLN (Persero) Central Load Regulator Unit of Java, Madura, and Bali at the Office of the DKI Jakarta and Banten Load Regulator Implementation Unit. The sampling technique used was the saturated sample method with a sample of 71 respondents. The data analysis method used simple linear regression test, multiple linear regression, correlation coefficient, determination coefficient, partial t test and F test. The results of this study indicate that there is an effect of motivation on employee performance at PT. PLN (Persero) UP2B DKI Jakarta and Banten, this can be proven from the simple linear regression equation Y = 4.868 + 0.869X1. The correlation value is 0.801 (very strong). The determination coefficient value is 64.2%. The calculated t value is 11.125 > t table 1.994 with a significance of 0.000 < 0.05. There is an influence of work discipline on employee performance at PT. PLN (Persero) UP2B DKI Jakarta and Banten, this can be proven from the simple linear regression equation Y = 10.305 + 0.445X2. The correlation value is 0.702 (strong). The determination coefficient value is 49.3%. The calculated t value is 8.184 > t table 1.984 with a significance of 0.000 < 0.05. Simultaneously, there is an influence of motivation and work discipline on employee performance at PT. PLN (Persero) UP2B DKI Jakarta and Banten, this can be proven from the multiple linear regression equation Y = 0.550 + 0.647X1 + 0.203X2. The correlation value is 0.703 (strong). The determination coefficient value is 70.3%. The calculated F value is 80.378 > Ftable 3.98 with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of work motivation and discipline on employee performance at "PT Berkat Cahaya Novena Bogor". The method used in this research is a quantitative method. The total population in this study was 67 respondents. The sampling technique used saturated sampling and a sample of 67 respondents was obtained. Data analysis uses validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, regression analysis, correlation coefficients, coefficients of determination, and hypothesis testing. The results of this research are that the motivation variable partially has a positive and significant effect on employee performance with a calculated t value of (5,840 > 1.998) and a sig value of 0.000 < 0.05. This shows that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. The Work Discipline variable partially has a positive and significant effect on employee performance with a t value of (5,895 > 1.998) with a sig value of 0.000 <0.05. This shows that H0 is rejected and H2 is accepted. Based on the F (Simultaneous) hypothesis test, it can be seen that the F value is (23.315 > 3.140) and the significant value is 0.001 <0.05. So it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H3 is accepted. This means that Motivation and Work Discipline simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT Berkat Cahaya Novena Bogor. The R-Square is 0.421 or 42.1% and the remaining 57.9% is influenced by other variables not examined in the research. This

Abstract

Utilizing the time needed in a work process, the speed of data transfer is direct human work, so IoT (Internet of Things) is currently the answer to all needs that replace direct physical functions, through data transfer using internet network media which is assisted by a microcontroller device to implement many things in everyday life, both in the industrial world, laboratories, agriculture, health and household needs. This Internet of Things (IoT) based lighting control system application uses an Arduino Uno as a microcontroller and an Android application as a control tool. This system is used to control the lights on or off. Apart from that, the design of this system also uses a relay which is used to connect the light to the system. From the results of testing and analysis, the control of electronic equipment in this light control system operates according to the commands given. As long as the system is connected to the internet network stably, there will be no problems with the IoT (Internet of Things) based light control system using Arduino Uno with voice commands using the Bluetooth voice application.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Return on Assets (ROA) and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) on the Share Price of PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk for the 2014-2023 Period. The data for this study are the financial statements of PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk taken from www.indofood.com and www.idx.co.id. The sampling used is Return On Assets (ROA) and Debt To Equity Ratio (DER) for 10 years. The method used is descriptive with a quantitative approach. Data analysis using classical assumption test, multiple linear regression, hypothesis testing (partial t test and simultaneous f test), and coefficient of determination analysis using SPSS version 26. The results of the analysis show that the partial t test shows that Return On Assets (ROA) has no effect on stock prices with the test result  1.198 <  2.306 and a significance value (Sig.) 0.270 > 0.05, Debt To Equity Ratio (DER) has no effect on stock prices with the test result  -2.252 <  2.306 and a significance value (Sig.) 0.059 > 0.05. In the simultaneous f test Return On Assets (ROA) and Debt To Equity Ratio (DER) have an effect on stock prices with the test results  6.086 >  4.74 and a significance value (Sig.) 0.029 < 0.05. The coefficient of determination proves a value of 0.635, which means that Return on Asset (ROA) and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) affect the stock price by 63.5%. While the rest, amounting to (100% - 63.5% = 36.5%) is influenced by other variables outside this study.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of leadership style on the performance of SMK Siere Cendekia employees. To determine the effect of work motivation on the performance of SMK Siere Cendekia employees and to determine how the influence of leadership style and work motivation on the performance of SMK Siere Cendekia employees. This research method uses a quantitative associative method. Data collection techniques in this study used observation and questionnaire techniques. Data obtained by questionnaires with a total of 52 employees. Leadership style has a significant effect on employee performance. This is evidenced by the regression equation obtained, namely Y = 9.348 + 0.786X1. The correlation coefficient value of 0.702 indicates that the two variables have a strong relationship, with a determination coefficient of 49.3%. Based on the hypothesis test, tcount> ttable is obtained, namely (6.976> 1.677) and a significant value of 0.000 <0.05. Work motivation has a significant effect on employee performance. This is evidenced by the regression obtained Y = 4.866 + 0.880X2. The correlation coefficient value of 0.926, indicates that the two variables have a strong relationship, with a determination coefficient of 85.7%. Based on the hypothesis test, tcount> ttable is obtained, namely (17.294> 1.677) and a significant value of 0.000 <0.05. Leadership Style and Work Motivation have a significant influence on employee performance. This is evidenced by the regression obtained Y = 4.578 + 0.024 (X1) + 0.865 (X2). The correlation coefficient value of 0.926 indicates that the independent variable and the dependent variable have a strong relationship, with a determination coefficient of 85.7%. Based on the hypothesis test, the Fcount value> Ftable is (146.792> 3.19) with a significant value of 0.000 <0.05. Thus, Ho3 is rejected, and Ha3 is accepted, which means that there is a significant influence between Leadership Style and Work Motivation on Employee Performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of Current Ratio (CR) and Return on Equity (ROE) on Stock Prices at PT XL Axiata Tbk for the period 2014-2023. The method used is a descriptive statistical analysis study with a quantitative approach. This study uses secondary data obtained from the annual financial statements of PT XL Axiata Tbk for the period 2014-2023. The analysis techniques used include classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, T tests, F tests, determination tests, and correlation coefficient tests with data processing using the SPSS 29 statistical program. The results of the study simultaneously show that the variables Current Ratio (CR) and Return on Equity (ROE) have a positive and significant effect on Stock Prices with a calculated f value of 4.814> 4.74 and a Sig value of 0.048 <0.05. Partially, the Current Ratio (CR) variable has a positive and significant effect on Stock Price with a t-value of 3.099 > 2.36462, and a significance level of 0.017 < 0.05. Return on Equity (ROE) has a negative and insignificant effect on Stock Price with a t-value of -0.428 < 2.36462, and a significance level of 0.681 > 0.05. Based on the results of the determination coefficient analysis, the R square value is 0.579, so the Current Ratio (CR) and Return on Equity (ROE) contribute 57.9% to Stock Price while the remaining 42.1% is influenced by other factors not studied.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the Current Ratio and Debt to Equity Ratio on the stock price of PT Matahari Department Store, Tbk. This research is quantitative with a descriptive approach. The sample used in this study consists of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) based on the balance sheet and income statement reports of PT Matahari Department Store, Tbk for the 2013-2023 period. The results of the study indicate that, partially, the Current Ratio has a positive but not significant effect on stock prices, with a t-value (1.539) < t-table (2.262) and a significance level of 0.162 > 0.05. Meanwhile, the Debt to Equity Ratio has a negative but not significant effect on stock prices, with a t-value (0.594) < t-table (2.262) and a significance level of 0.569 > 0.05. Simultaneously, the Current Ratio and Debt to Equity Ratio variables also have no significant effect on stock prices, with an F-value (1.404) < F-table (4.46) and a significance level of 0.300 > 0.05.

Abstract

This study focuses on automotive and component sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2019-2023 period. The main objective of the study is to analyze the effect of cash turnover and receivable turnover on profitability, measured by Return on Assets.The research method employed is quantitative with a asosiatif approach, and the data analyzed includes financial statements from the IDX. The results reveal that cash turnover partially has a positive and significant effect on changes in Return on Assets, while receivable turnover partially has no significant effect. However, simultaneously, cash turnover and receivable turnover have a significant effect on changes in Return on Assets

Abstract

This research aims to test and analyze the population in this research is PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk Cikokol branch. The number of observation samples was 32 data obtained using saturated samples. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. Data analysis uses validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, regression analysis, correlation coefficients, coefficients of determination and hypothesis testing. The test results show that the independent variables, namely work environment and work discipline, are able to explain the dependent variable, namely employee performance, by 75.8% and the remaining 24.2% is influenced by other factors not included in this research. Multiple linear regression equation Y=11.732-0.018X1+0.574X2. Based on the results of the model feasibility test (F test), it shows that the Fcount value is 45.532 > Ftable 3.330 or the Sig value is 0.000 < 0.05, so Ho3 is rejected and Ha3 is accepted. The test results show that the regression model in this research is suitable for predicting employee performance. Apart from that, it can be concluded that the work environment and work discipline simultaneously affect employee performance at PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk Cikokol branch.

Abstract

Non-linear equations are one of the fundamental problems that often arise in various scientific disciplines, such as physics, engineering, economics and computer science. Solving non-linear equations analytically is often not possible due to the complex nature of the functions involved. Therefore, numerical methods such as Newton-Raphson and Fixed Point Iteration are the main choice to approach solutions with high accuracy. This research aims to analyze the performance of the two methods in solving systems of non-linear equations. The analysis is carried out by comparing aspects of convergence speed, solution accuracy, and stability to changes in initial values ​​and the nature of the function being analyzed. The Newton-Raphson method is known for its fast quadratic convergence, but requires derivatives of functions that are not always practical to calculate. Meanwhile, the Fixed Point Iteration method is simpler in implementation, but has slower linear convergence and relies heavily on the selection of recursive functions and initial values. The research results show that the Newton-Raphson method is superior in terms of convergence speed, especially for functions with derivatives that can be calculated easily. On the other hand, Fixed Point Iteration is more flexible for use on functions without explicit derivatives, although it requires more iterations to achieve the same accuracy. This research provides guidance for practitioners in choosing the most appropriate numerical method based on the characteristics of the problems faced, so that it can be implemented optimally in various application fields.
