Abstract

Vocational High School (SMK) YAPIA Parung is a private school located in Waru Jaya Village, RT 01/03, Parung District, Bogor Regency. Currently, the school still uses a conventional attendance system, which can certainly be improved to a more modern system. The researcher conducted a study by developing a web-based school attendance system to achieve more accurate and efficient results. The writer also applied the SCRUM method and utilized QR Code technology, which is expected to simplify user interaction. The results of the study showed that the implementation of a web-based attendance system was able to facilitate teachers and staff in recording attendance and monitoring presence in real-time. It can be concluded that the web-based attendance system has proven to be more effective and user-friendly for staff and teachers compared to the previously used conventional method.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to strengthen the basic understanding and improve the skills of Visual Communication Design (DKV) students at Sumpah Pemuda Vocational School in the field of web programming, especially through training in the use of HTML and CSS as a foundation for developing simple websites. The background of this program is based on the low technical digital literacy among DKV students, who are generally stronger in the visual design aspect but do not yet have the ability to implement design results into interactive and responsive web-based media. The method of implementing the activity uses a direct practice approach (learning by doing) with material that is arranged in stages, starting from an introduction to HTML structure, writing basic elements, to using simple CSS for the aesthetics of the page display. The activity was carried out in one day with intensively focused time, attended by grade X and XI DKV students. Evaluation was carried out through direct observation, individual practice assignments, and interviews with participants and accompanying teachers to assess the effectiveness of the approach and the achievement of the activity's objectives. The results of the activity showed that this training succeeded in answering four main focus problems: (1) students' low initial understanding of web programming; (2) the need for contextual training methods that are in accordance with the character of DKV students; (3) significant improvement in technical skills after training; and (4) identification of various learning challenges such as limited facilities, unfamiliarity with technical language, and fear of errors when typing code. Students are not only able to create simple web pages, but also show further interest in learning more complex web development technologies. This training provides an important contribution in building the foundation of digital competence for design-based vocational school students, and shows that the integration of visual creativity and programming skills is a strategic step in preparing graduates who are adaptive to the demands of the digital creative industry. This program also shows that with a humanistic, practical, and participatory approach, students can learn technology meaningfully and enjoyably in a relatively short time.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to ascertain how pricing and product quality affect consumers' decisions to buy propane paint products. The participants in this study were Toko Tirta Bangunan Sentul customers. This study employs a quantitative approach. Primary and secondary data collecting are the methods employed. Probability sampling is the auxiliary method employed. There are 7,866 individuals in the population, and 90 samples were taken. Validity, reliability, normality, multicollinearity, autocorrelation, heteroscedasticity, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, simple correlation coefficient, multiple correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination analysis, t test, and f test are the data analysis methods that are employed. The tcount value of 8.071> table 1.985 and a significant level of 0.000 <0.05 indicate that the product quality variable (X1) has a positive and substantial impact on purchase decisions (Y), according to the t test results. With a correlation coefficient of 0.652 and a strong association level, the product quality variable (X1) influences purchases (Y) by 42.5%. The tcount value of 10.383> t table 1.985 and a significant level of 0.000 <0.05 indicate that the price variable (X2) has a positive and substantial impact on purchase decisions (Y), according to the t test results. Purchasing decisions (Y) are influenced by the price variable (X2) by 55.1%, with a significant correlation coefficient of 0.742. The Fcount value of 73.594> Ftabel 3.09 and a significance of 0.000<0.05 demonstrate that the factors of product quality (X1) and price (X2) concurrently have a positive and substantial impact on purchase decisions (Y), according to the results of the f test. With a correlation value of 0.793 and a strong association level, the variables of price (X2) and product quality (X1) have a 62.9% impact on decisions to buy (Y).

Abstract

This research aims to find out how the financial performance of PT Ultrajaya Milk Industry & Trading Company, Tbk is based on analysis of liquidity ratios (current ratio, quick ratio, cash ratio), solvency ratios (debt to assets ratio, debt to equity ratio), and profitability ratios (return on assets, return on equity). The research method used is quantitative descriptive method and secondary data collection. The population of this research is the Financial Report of PT Ultrajaya Milk Industry & Trading Company, Tbk and the sample used in this research is the balance sheet and profit and loss report for 5 years from 2019-2023. The research results show that the company's liquidity ratio for the 2019-2023 period is above industry standards. The company's Solvency Ratio for the 2019-2023 period is below industry standards. And the company's Profitability Ratio for the 2019-2023 period is below industry standards.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of leadership and motivation on employee performance at Indonesian Post Office Branch. The research method used is quantitative. The population in this study was 96 respondents. The results of the analysis show that motivation has a significant effect on employee performance with a significant value of 0.001 < 0.05, and the t count is 17.947 > 1.990 t table. The work discipline has a significant effect on employee performance with a significant value of 0.001 < 0.05, and a calculated t value of 22.772 > 1.990 t table. Motivation and Work Discipline have a significant effect on Employee Performance with the regression equation Y= 0,933 + 0,877X1 + 0,842X2. The coefficient of determination value is 87% while the remaining 13% is influenced by other variables outside this regression equation or variables that are not examined. Hypothesis testing obtained a calculated F value > F table or (311.533 > 3.09).

Abstract

This study aims to design a web-based library data management application to improve the efficiency of library operations at SD Negeri Lebakwangi. The project was initiated due to inefficiencies in the existing library data management system, such as errors in book record-keeping and difficulties in tracking book information. The development process adopted the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model with a Research and Development (R&D) approach. Data were collected through direct observation at the school, interviews with school personnel, and a review of relevant literature. The outcome of this research is a web-based library application designed to assist librarians and teachers in managing book data, monitoring book loans, and tracking student literacy activities more effectively. The system was developed using programming languages such as HTML, CSS (with Bootstrap), PHP, and JavaScript. The application includes features such as admin and user login, book and member management, circulation logging, and reporting. Test results show that the application successfully improves the efficiency and accuracy of library administration at SD Negeri Lebakwangi.

Abstract

This study aims to empirically examine the effect of financial ratios on Return on Assets (ROA) in the manufacturing company PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk during the 2014-2023 period. The research method used is quantitative research with panel data collection from the company's financial statements for 2014-2023. Data analysis uses multiple linear regression analysis techniques to determine the effect of these variables simultaneously and partially on ROA. The results showed that partially Current Ratio had no significant effect on ROA with a T Count value of 0.847 < 2.447 with a significance level of 0.436 > 0.05. Debt to Equity Ratio produces a T Count value of -3.062> 2.447 with a significance value of 0.028 < 2.447 and a significance value of 0.690 > 0.05 indicating that Total Assets Turnover has no significant effect on ROA and Price to Book Value has no significant effect with a T Count value of 0.868 < 2.447 with a significance value of 0.425 > 0.05. Simultaneously, the variables Current Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio, Total Assets Turnover and Price to Book Value together have a significant effect on ROA with a calculated F value of 30.385 exceeding the F table of 5.19. Then the coefficient of determination test results of 92.9% of the dependent variable Return on Assets is influenced by the independent variables Current Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio, Total Assets Turnover and Price to Book Value while the remaining 7.1% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

The limited availability of computer network practice facilities in vocational schools, especially in rural areas such as SMKN 1 Sobang, poses a significant obstacle to improving students’ competencies in the field of Computer and Network Engineering (TKJ). To address this issue, a Community Service (PKM) activity was carried out by students of Pamulang University through training on the use of the Cisco Packet Tracer network simulation application. This activity aims to enhance students’ understanding of basic network concepts as well as their skills in configuring network devices virtually. The implementation method used a participatory educational approach, involving students in hands-on practice sessions and interactive discussions. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in students’ practical skills, active participation in learning, and the efficiency of the learning process without relying on expensive network hardware. Moreover, accompanying teachers gained new insights into simulation-based learning media that can be integrated into teaching and learning activities. This training also produced a teaching module as an output that can be used sustainably. Thus, the use of Cisco Packet Tracer has proven to be an effective and relevant solution for delivering practical and affordable computer network learning in vocational schools with limited facilities.

Abstract

In the current digital era, the use of information technology has become a vital component in increasing business competitiveness, including for micro, small, and medium enterprises (UMKM) in Indonesia. UMKM Pistacio is a local culinary business that faces challenges in promotion and delivering comprehensive business information. To address these issues, a company profile website was designed and developed using the Waterfall method. This website aims to help UMKM Pistacio establish a professional digital identity, broaden its promotional reach, and simplify information management. The system development process involved requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The design includes user interface and experience (UI/UX) prototypes created with Figma, UML diagrams (activity diagram, use case diagram, ERD), flowcharts, and a structured database. The website features two main interfaces: a customer-facing side displaying menu, business information, and external ordering links, and an admin side for managing website content independently. The implementation showed that the system effectively meets the business needs by presenting information in an appealing and structured way. Moreover, the website serves as an alternative to third-party platforms like GoFood, GrabFood and ShopeeFood. Through this website, UMKM Pistacio is expected to improve its digital presence and competitiveness in the online market.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the financial performance of PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk for the 2016-2023 period in terms of liquidity ratios and solvency ratios. The method used in this research is a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. The research data used is secondary data in the form of company financial reports that have been published by the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI). The results of the analysis show that the measurement of PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk's liquidity ratio for the 2016-2023 period shows an unhealthy condition, because the Current Ratio (CR), Quick Ratio (QR) and Cash Ratio (CR) values ​​are below industry standards. The results of measuring the Solvency Ratio at PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk for the 2016-2023 period show an unhealthy condition because the Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR) and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) values ​​are still below industry standards. PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk's financial performance is at the "unhealthy" assessment level in liquidity research. Because the company is unable to meet its short-term obligations. And likewise, its solvency ratio is at an "unhealthy" level. Because the company is unable to meet its long-term obligations. To further increase its level of liquidity and solvency, companies should reduce the amount of long-term debt and increase their assets.
