Tulisan ini menyelidiki pola penjajahan Inggris dan Belanda dan impaknya pada negara yang dijajah. Dengan pendekatan kepustakaan, dapat ditegaskan bahawa kedua-dua kuasa penjajah tersebut memang terlibat secara langsung dan tidak langsung menindas masyarakat tanah jajahan. Terdapat lebih banyak persamaan daripada perbezaan apabila menyentuh pendekatan penjajahan yang digunakan. Bahkan tidak keterlaluan dikatakan bahawa pendekatan dominasi (penindasan fizikal) dan hegomoni (penindasan secara muslihat) milik British lebih jahat dan ianya kekal lebih lama di Malaysia. Buktinya, banyak masalah masyarakat Malaysia timbul seperti mana isu polarisasi kaum, tohmahan kelemahan Islam, kelemahan ekonomi orang Melayu dan banyak lagi – berpunca semuanya daripada dasar jahat yang diaplikasikan oleh pihak British.

Kajian ini berusaha untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis dua gerakan politik, yaitu dari pinggir ke tengah dan dari tengah ke pinggir. Yaitu, bagaimana kaum santri maju ke arena politik dan bagaimana politisi Muslim memberi kepada kelompok rujukannya, yaitu kelompok santri. Kajian ini, dengan demikian, bersifat perbandingan gerakan, dengan menggunakan metode analisis tindakan, yaitu menyelidiki makna gerakan dari peristiwa-peristiwa sosial politis. Dengan metode tersebut ditemukan bahwa kaum santri telah mendapatkan manifestasi politiknya melalui berbagai kesempatan sosial politis sehingga berada di tengah-tengah pusaran kekuasaan. Selanjutnya ditemukan pula bahwa keberadaan kaum santri di tengah-tengah kekuasaan itu memberikan ruang kepada mereka untuk membuat kebijakan-kebijakan yang menguntungkan tempat asal mereka datang, yaitu institusi pesantren.

Upaya Penanggulangan Kemiskinan Melalui Program Beras Perelek Bibah Badriah; Mohammad Taufiq Rahman

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya penanggulangan kemiskinan di Desa Pawenang. Karena dengan adanya penanggulangan ini tidak semua kemiskinan dapat ditanggulangi. Kegunaan penelitian ini diharapkan agar dapat memberi sumbangsih Kepada Desa Pawenang, supaya pemerintah daerah lebih memperhatikan masyarakat miskin di Desa Pawenang. Dan juga untuk mengetahui faktor pendorong dan penghambat adanya program tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data, observasi, wawancara, dan studi pustaka. Subjek penelitian ini adalah Aparatur Desa dan masyarakat. Data-data yang diperoleh di lapangan dianalisis dengan tiga alur kegiatan yang terjadi secara bersamaan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini yang melandasi penyebab kemiskinan pada masyarakat di Desa Pawenang yaitu di karenakan faktor kebutuhan hidup keluarga yang tidak seimbang dengan penghasilan, dan juga diakibatkan karena ketidakmerataan sumberdaya. Dan dalam hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor yang mendukung Program Beres Perelek di Desa Pawenang yaitu respon masyarakat yang antusias. Sedangkan faktor yang menghambat program ini adalah berkaitan dengan sikap aparatur Desa yang tidak teratur mengambil beras perelek dari setiap rumah, yang akhirnya mengakibatkan keterlambatan untuk proses bantuan kepada masyarakat miskin.

Efforts of the Islamic Study Groups in Overcoming Behavior Deviations in Adolescents' Life Zihan Zahrotul Mukarromah

This study uses a qualitative descriptive method that describes and explains what is in the field, with data collection techniques, participatory observation, in-depth interviews, documentation, and literature studies in Kembangkuning Village. The data analysis was carried out using qualitative data analysis. The study results showed that the Al-Hidayah Taklim Council was not sufficiently helpful in overcoming adolescent behavioral deviations. Because on the part of the Taklim Council it only conducts outreach to parents by making parents tell about their child's progress and the leader of the recitation at the Taklim Assembly gives advice and advice on religious knowledge that must be applied to their children during recitation at the Al-Hidayah Taklim Assembly, but this still can not cope with deviant behavior that occurs among adolescents. The efforts that the Taklim Assembly has made cannot help enough to overcome the problems in Kembangkuning Village. Therefore the researcher hopes that the Taklim Council (Islamic Study Groups) can contribute to helping to overcome deviant behavior with better efforts than what has been conveyed.

Kajian ini dilakukan di sebuah pesantren di Purwakarta dengan memakai pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Dengan berbekal teori relasi individu ditemukan bahwa individu mempunyai makna langsung apabila konteks situasional adalah keluarga atau lembaga sosial, sedangkan individu dalam konteks lingkungan sosial yang lebih besar, seperti masyarakat, posisi dan peranannya semakin abstrak. Apa yang dapat direalisasikan oleh para santri mengenai pelaksanaan keamanan di lingkungan pesantren tersebut adalah untuk mencapai keamanan di lingkungan pondok itu sendiri dan di lingkungan masyarakatnya.

This article examines some phenomena of religious radicalism ended in violence and frequently caused massive physical and psychological victims. The phenomena of radicalism could be analyzed involving various variables, like social, political, economic, including cultural variables. The tragedy of Cikeusik was a kind of violence emerged from subjective religious interpretation, exclusivism, and external political situation. Outside those factors, the weak of the “state” in preventing conflicts and being a significant contributor.

Social, Economic, and Religious Behavior in The Tradition of The Labuh Saji Ceremony Aris Munandar

One of the concrete manifestations of community behavior that respects their ancestors is the traditional Labuh Saji ceremony carried out by the fishing community of Palabuhanratu Village as an expression of gratitude to Sang Hyang Widi, who provides welfare in their lives. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method, which describes the traditional ceremony of Labuh Saji. The data obtained are in the form of observational data, interviews, and document studies. To analyze the data that will be collected, the writer will do it using data unitization, data categorization, and data interpretation. To test the validity of the data was carried out by extending participation, persistence in making observations, adequacy of references, case studies, and detailed descriptions. From the research results, it was concluded that the people of Palabuhanratu Village are still firm in upholding the traditions of their ancestors and preserving local cultural wisdom, such as carrying out the traditional Labuh saji ceremony. As for the concept of the ceremony, first, determine the place of implementation, then prepare the necessary equipment. The implementation process begins with various remarks from the committee and government officials. The community makes social contact, resulting in social interaction, and this ceremony is a medium of friendship between the local community. In the economy, the ceremony is a driving factor for community welfare, then in religious behavior, Labuh saji is a form of expression and gratitude for the abundance of sustenance received by the fishing community of Palabuhanratu.

There are more and more centers for cultural studies and collections of works of art that can later be used as works of art that can generate income and people's livelihoods. The purpose of this study was to describe the extent of the role of painting culture in the economy of the people of Kampung Giri Harja, Jelekong Village, Baleendah District, Bandung Regency. So it is useful to provide important information about the existence of Kampung Giri Harja, Jelekong Village, Bandung Regency, namely that besides being a center for cultural studies it can also make painting a source of economic income and employment for the Jelekong people and regional income. The research method used in this study is a descriptive analysis method using a qualitative approach—data collection, observation, interviews, and literature studies. The subject of this research is the arts village and its people. The results of the study show that the culture of painting in Giri Harja Village, Jelekong Village, Baleendah District, Bandung Regency can provide community welfare and a source of employment for the community around Giri Harja and migrants who enter Giri Harja Village. This is evidenced by the sufficient income earned by gallery owners, craftsmen and other artists. It is also proven that these paintings are not marketed at home as usual, but have been marketed outside areas such as Cipanas, Bogor, Jakarta and even galleries in Jakarta.

This article describes classical Islamic political theory and explores the context of modern politics. The dramatic transformations to the Middle East's political, legal, and economic systems in the 19th and 20th centuries led to systematic secularization, centralization of authority, and westernization. With a literature review, this article raises again the Islamic political teachings initiated by classical fiqh scholars. This study can inspire changes currently resonating with the majority of the middle class, who are dissatisfied with the political power left over from the past. Likewise, this study can provide for those in power amid a wave of democratization in the Islamic world. With this study, Muslims can call back to Shari’a regarding the must, when, how to regulate, and how to resolve the myriad of questions that define how to implement sharia in today's political and economic context.

Penelitian membahas tentang pola komunikasi sebagai bentuk perilaku komunikasi di kalangan pegawai humas RS. Pakuwon, Sumedang. Di sini dibahas bagaimana adaptasi sebuah rumah sakit terhadap perkembangan zaman, terutama perkembangan teknologi. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskriptif, diketahui bahwa RS itu bukan hanya untuk memenuhi kebutuhan kesehatan pasiennya tetapi juga ada keinginan diakui sebagai wahana komunikasi kesehatan sehingga masyarakat selalu tertambat hatinya ke RS tersebut. Dari situlah maka pelayanan komunikasi kesehatan yang dilakukan Humas RS. Pakuwon semakin meningkat sejalan dengan jalannya komunikasi massa yang semakin marak.
