Masyarakat adat Di Indonesia pada umumnya tertutup karena menjaga komitmen adat budayanya. Tapi tidak bagi masyarakat adat Cireundeu Cimahi, mereka terbuka dengan budaya luar sambil tetap memegang adat budayanya sendiri. Bagi mereka adat Sunda bukan di wilayah simbolisme-formalisme tapi pada nilai-nilai substansi adat Sunda itu sendiri. Penelitian ini secara kualitatif dengan pendekatan sosio-antropologis mencoba mengungkap system keyakinan dan sistem nilai yang dianut oleh masyarakat adat Cireundeu Cimahi. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa ternyata masyarakat adat Cireundeu merupakan sebuah sistem sosial yang memiliki sistem keyakinan, sistem nilai, sistem norma dan simbol tersendiri. Dalam konteks masyarakat Kota Cimahi, warga adat merupakan subsistem sosial. Mereka mampu melakukan universalisasi, di tengah arus Islamisasi dan modernisasi di kota Cimahi. Dan masyarakat adat Cireundeu bisa tampil sebagai komunitas sebagai akibat kemampuannya dalam melakukan universalisasi dalam konteks budaya yang lebih luas.

The Pangeran Sumedang Foundation Library is one of the libraries that stores several ancient manuscripts. Ancient manuscripts are a rare type of collection that not everyone, every region, or every library has. Therefore, the existence of a collection of ancient manuscripts needs to be maintained and maintained so that they can be used as a source of information for people who need it. This study aimed to determine preventive and curative ancient manuscript preservation policies and constraints in carrying out ancient manuscript preservation activities at the Pangeran Sumedang Foundation library. While this research tries to examine the preservation of ancient manuscripts, especially the ancient manuscripts of the Waruga Jagat book and the Sumedang chronicle book. The research approach used is a qualitative approach with a case study type. Based on the results of the research, it is known that the birth of an ancient manuscript preservation policy, especially the ancient manuscript of Kita Waruga Jagat and the Sumedang Chronicle book, is because these two ancient manuscripts have very important informational and historical values regarding the founding of the Sumedang Larang Kingdom. Meanwhile, on the other hand, the manuscript is hundreds of years old and its condition has started to deteriorate, so it is necessary to carry out preservation activities. This preservation activity is carried out using prevention and repair or through a transfer of media forms. Regarding the obstacles in this preservation activity, namely budgetary constraints, limited human resources and limited facilities that support ancient manuscript preservation activities.

The Function of the Selametan Tradition in Forming Social Cohesiveness Syntia Maharani

This study aims to understand the function of the Selametan Tradition for the people of Utan Kramat Batok Village, Cabangbungin District, Bekasi Regency. It also aims to know the process of forming social cohesiveness in the tradition of salvation in the people of that area. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method that describes and explains the field. Using observational data collection techniques, in-depth interviews, documentation, and literature studies in the village of Utan Kramat Batok. The data analysis was carried out using qualitative data analysis. The research results show that the Selamatetan tradition has many functions and great benefits for the life of the Utan Kramat Batok community, such as maintaining friendly relations between villagers, creating social solidarity, cooperation, and other benefits when the Selamatetan Tradition is taking place. The process of forming social cohesiveness in the Selametan Tradition in the Utan Kramat Batok community, occurs when the Selametan tradition takes place, because a social group comes together and meets with one another's social groups between individuals with groups, groups with groups and individuals with individuals become one so that creating a sense of group, brotherhood or usability.

Penelitian ini membahas tentang proses interaksi sosial mahasiswa anggota koperasi di kampus. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Dengan menggunakan teknik penelitian observasi, wawancara, studi kepustakaan dan dokumentasi, peneliti berusaha mendeskripsikan, menganalisis, serta mengungkapkan fenomena-fenomena yang terjadi di lapangan. Data penelitian ini bersumber dari data primer yaitu dengan cara wawancara dan observasi langsung. Kemudian data sekundernya di peroleh dari referensi buku yang berkaitan dengan penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian ini bahwa dalam sebuah organisasi para anggota Koin Bandung mempu membangun interaksi asosiatif yang efektif. Meskipun adanya disosiatif yang tidak terlalu berpengaruh dikarenakan anggota Koin yang mempunyai latarbelakang yang berbeda-beda akan tetapi ini semua tidak menjadi penghalang.

This article examines the emergence of fundamentalism as a political movement in the circle of world religions with their own backgrounds. The writer emphasizes on Islamic fundamentalism upholding the issues regarding Western colonialization so long as the first half of 20th century and economic and cultural neo-colonialism in the last half of the century. By literary study the writer concludes that these religious movements radically take religious doctrines as the fundamentals of the movement ideology. This movement is assigned with the slogan of ‘Islam as the alternative’ aiming at changing socio-political order towards Islamic norms through radical movements.

Community Perception on The Performance of Reak Art Creations Nuraini Maulandari

This study aims to determine the maintenance pattern of Reak artistic creations and the factors behind different community perceptions in Bumi Langgeng Housing, Cimekar Village, Cileunyi District, Bandung Regency, because it is in line with the times. The pattern of maintenance of Reak art creations has changed, as well as changes in lifestyle, increased activity, and ignorance have caused the community to have different perceptions of the staging of Reak art creations. The method used in this research is the descriptive method. Where data was collected through observation and in-depth interviews with community leaders in Bumi Langgeng housing with the technique of determining informants through purposive sampling, namely a sampling technique with certain considerations, the method of taking information was based on informants who knew Reak artistic creations and community leaders in Bumi Langgeng Housing. The research results show that along with the times, Reak art creations in Cimekar Village have started to experience obstacles in their development. In addition, there are two different perceptions of the staging of Reak art creations, namely negative and positive perceptions. Negative perceptions caused by the presence of migrants in Cimekar Village, especially in Bumi Langgeng housing, lifestyle changes and increased activity, and the growing sense of boredom towards Reak art creations that are felt by the community members, so that this allows them not to participate in preserving the creations. Reak art. Positive perceptions caused by people who love, uphold cultural values and understand Reak artistic creations.

The Role of the Trusmi Batik Home Industry in Improving the Community's Economy Mochamad Noufaldi

This research departs from the phenomenon in Trusmi Village, Plered District, Cirebon Regency, where most of the population works in the batik industry. The number of batik industries in Trusmi village is a shift in livelihoods in the community, and there are still many unemployed. The method used in this research is descriptive and gathers information from informants through in-depth interviews. The results showed that the condition of the community before working as batik craftsmen was that the majority worked as farmers and odd jobs. Then, after the batik industry, the community's economic situation experienced a significant increase. So far, the role of the Trusmi batik industry is in the form of job creation. so that the community members who previously worked as farmers and casual laborers switched professions to work in the batik industry.

This study examines the performance of the regional council in serving of channeling aspirations of the people in West Java, Indonesia. This is possible because West Java province is an autonomous regional authority to regulate and manage the interests of the community and Government Affairs at its own initiative based on the aspirations of the people. The study uses a qualitative approach in order to get the natural settings in which there were many behaviors and events occurred. This study also uses an institutional theory (institutionalism), because the theory could lead the researchers on the structure, regulation and institutional procedures which could have a significant impact on a public policy and it should not be ignored in policy analysis. This study finds that in order to carry out their functions as elected representatives, the members of the provincial representative council always make themselves available for the community. To that end, the members of the provincial parliament, among others, absorb and collect the aspirations of the constituents through regular working visits; accommodate and follow up the aspirations and complaints; and give morally and politically accountable to the constituencies. In addition to receiving complaints that come to the Parliament's office, public aspiration was performed on working visits on a regular basis by members of Regional Representative Council for each electoral district at the time of recess. In terms of transparency, all the services were conducted in a transparent manner. Even so, some people still doubt the veracity of such transparency.

This article examines on how Asad elaborates the Islamic texts into a plan of empowering society. This effort bears Islamic thought on modern Islamic order of society. Asad’s analysis of the Qur’an and Sunnah spreads in Islamic world, for his idea was translated into many languages. Using mostly Western literatures at the issue the writer analyses this Asad’s thought and relates it to our problematic time. Finally, this writing shows how dynamic Asad was in the appreciation of Islam and its roles in empowering society.

Pluralisme merupakan fenomena yang tak terhindarkan terutama dalam persoalan keagamaan. Agama hadir dalam berbagai bidang kehidupan, terutama dalam kehidupan. Dalam penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan moderasi beragama di masyarakat plural yang, yakni yang menjadi kasus ini yaitu di Desa Kertajaya, Kecamatan Ciranjang, Kabupaten Cianjur. Di Desa Kertajaya tersebut telah terjadi kerukunan antar umat beragama melalui terjalinnya silaturahmi yang ada di sana. Hal tersebut didapati pada penemuan penelitian bahwa adanya kegiatan sosial keagamaan di Desa Kertajaya, sebagai contoh, mereka tidak memaksakan pandangan agama mereka pada orang lain dan Interaksi ataupun Hubungan Muslim-Kristen di Desa Kertajaya, Kecamatan Ciranjang, Kabupaten Cianjur, sangat inklusif. Hal tersebut didorong oleh beberapa faktor diantaranya: faktor historis, faktor teologis, faktor sosiologis dan faktor politis. Kesimpulannya yaitu penerapan moderasi seperti ini cocok untuk diadopsi oleh masyarakat plural yang berada di wilayah lain untuk meningkatkan kerukunan beragama sehingga terciptanya harmonisasi antar umat beragama.
