Sintaks: Jurnal Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia is a peer-reviewed journal by Medan Resource Center. This journal accepts articles related to the Indonesian language; literature; language education; Classroom Action Research; literature review; learning material and media development; and learning assessment. The journal provides a means for teachers, any instructors of all levels of education, as well as students or practitioners who are interested in the area. The journal is published biannually in January and July and accepts articles in Bahasa Indonesia or English.

This study aimed to describe the product of teaching materials development in the student’s worksheets based on local wisdom through a genre report approach in scientific writing material, to describe the response validation of the expert team of validators toward the prototype of teaching materials in the student’s worksheets in writing scientific papers based on local wisdom through genre report approach. The research method is 4-D research and development by Thiagarajan. This study used 3 stages, namely define, design, and development. At the development stage, it was only validated by four expert team validators. The data in this study is quantitative descriptive as the main data that collected by using an instrument with a Likert scale. The respondents consisted of material experts, design experts and media experts. The data analyzed using descriptive quantitative method and to calculate the average percentage of indicators used descriptive percentages. The results of developing a prototype worksheet’s students in writing scientific paper based on local wisdom through a genre report approach. It can be seen from the validation of the material experts by getting an average score as 91% with the criteria of "very satisfactory", thus the material can be a prototype of LKPD. The assessment of the media and design aspects of the experts gave an average rating as 96.8% with the criteria of "very satisfactory", it can be said that the media and design aspects can be a prototype of LKPD.

Language skills are a basic need for elementary school children to be able to communicate and socialize with each other. One of the most basic language skills is recognizing letters in order to enter the reading stage. This study aims to improve the ability of students to recognize letters, spell words, and recognize pictures. The method used in this research is to use a flash card. By using flash cards, the learning method will be more creative and not monotonous so that students will be more enthusiastic in the teaching and learning process. Flash card digunakan sebagai alat bantu agar anak mampu mengenal huruf, mengeja kata dan mengenal gambar. Dalam menganalisis data, peneliti menggunakan metode observasi dan wawancara. Observation method is used to analyze the ability of students during class research. While interviews are used to determine the development of each child during the research. This research was conducted at Wasur State Elementary School. The object of this research is the 1st grade elementary school students. The reason the researcher chooses the first grade elementary school students is because the first grade elementary school students aged around 7-8 years are children who have beginner language skills. so that researchers hope that with this research, grade 1 elementary school students at Wasur State Elementary School can improve their language skills, namely letter recognition, spelling words, and recognizing pictures.

Conversations in a dialogue generally contain meanings and expressions based on the culture that exists in the spoken situation. The conversation itself contains a pragmatic aspect based on the culture. If a conversation occurs in a novel, it will follow the cultural rules based on the author, so that the pragmatic aspects that occur are based on the speech situation in the conversational culture. If the conversation is translated into a different language, of course, the cultural rules and pragmatic elements will also change, according to the culture and background of the translator. Therefore, in seeking pragmatic equivalence in a conversation in two different languages, it is related to the cultural situation of their respective languages. This study aims to describe pragmatic aspects of conversation in dialogue in translated novels and original novels in Japanese, which include: speech acts, implicatures, and maxims. This research uses a qualitative approach with content analysis methods in the realm of pragmatics, namely conversations in dialogues in novels from both languages. Furthermore, the results obtained that there are equivalences and deviations in the pragmatic aspects of the conversation in the novel, namely, equivalence and deviations in speech acts, equivalence and deviations in implicatures, and equivalence and deviations in the types of maxims. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the equivalence and deviation of pragmatic aspects occur in 5 types of speech acts, 2 types of implicatures and 4 types of maxims.

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman siswa pada teks deskripsi melalui pembelajaran berbasis masalah. Adapun jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas kolaboratif. Berdasarkan pengamatan, ditemukan bahwa siswa di SMP Negeri 3 Lhokseumawe tidak memperoleh skor yang sangat baik dalam pemahaman bacaan. Problem Based Learning dipilih sebagai model untuk membantu meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang teks deskripsi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan apakah penerapan Problem Based Learning akan menghasilkan peningkatan pemahaman membaca siswa pada teks deskripsi. Terkait dengan penelitian ini, peneliti melakukan penelitian tindakan kelas. Prosedur penelitian terdiri dari perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Dalam pengumpulan data, penulis menggunakan teknik kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Data kualitatif diperoleh dari observasi dan wawancara. Hal ini didukung oleh data kuantitatif yang diambil dari beberapa tes tertulis. Tes terdiri dari pretest dan posttest, yang dilakukan sebelum dan sesudah setiap siklus. Hasilnya menunjukkan bukti bahwa Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah efektif meningkatkan pemahaman membaca siswa. Peningkatan skor pemahaman membaca siswa ditunjukkan dengan pencapaian nilai tes siswa. Pada siklus 1, nilai rata-rata pretest adalah 53,35 dan nilai rata-rata posttest adalah 60,75. Pada siklus 2, nilai rata-rata pretest adalah 59,20 dan nilai rata-rata posttest adalah 68,28.

Artikel ini membahas tentang ideologi patriarki yang terdapat dalam cerpen yang berjudul Air Suci Sita karya Leila S. Chudori. Cerpen tersebut merupakan salah satu judul cerpen yang terdapat dalam kumpulan cerpen yang berjudul Malam Terakhir. Cerpen tersebut dianalisis menggunakan kritik sastra feminis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya tokoh perempuan yang mandiri dan berani, namun ia masih tetap harus patuh pada nilai-nilai yang berlaku dalam masyarakatnya. Pengakuan tunangan perempuan itu tentang kesalahan dan pengkhianatan yang dilakukannya merupakan gambaran bahwa sebenarnya tidak hanya perempuan yang melakukan kesalahan dan pengkhiatan, namun lelaki juga dapat melakukan kesalahan dan pengkhianatan. Lelaki dengan ideologi patriarkinya menganggap kesalahan dan pengkhianatan yang dilakukan oleh lelaki sebagai hal yang biasa, sedangkan perempuan yang melakukan kesalahan dan pengkhianatan akan dianggap sebagai perempuan nista. Tokoh perempuan itu juga membayangkan tentang tokoh permaisuri dari Sang Raja Agung yang bersiap terjun ke dalam api penyucian diri dan tidak mendapatkan kesempatan untuk bertanya kepada sang raja tentang kesetiaan sang raja. Hal tersebut merupakan bentuk subordinasi terhadap perempuan yang berlaku karena adanya ideologi patriarki. Ideologi patriarki tersebut merupakan hal yang ditentang oleh kaum feminis.

Students disipline and responsibility in carrying out learning is still very lacking. At this time generally the problem is still with delays when going to school, irresponsible for the tasks that have been given by teachers,many students have difficulty understanding lessons when the teaching and learning process is in progress,and there are students who cannot control their emotiuns which is in self.Good language skills are very influential for these students, many students think that Indonesian does not need to be studied, the reason is that all Indonesians can speak Indonesian, most of the students use Indonesian in a foreign language or slang and by using In this slang, students arbitrarily speak and behave with anyone, especially to the teacher, there are still many students who think that the teacher is like a peer who in the end speaks and behaves impolitely and is not good to hear. The results of this are directed to guadance and counseling teachers at Madrasah Tsanawiyah One Batang Hari, guidance and counseling teachers not only guide students who have problems but guidence and counseling teachers at the school there are organizations that later guidance and counseling teachers evaluate talent interests container on their student. Guidnace and counseling teachers evaluate talent ini interests countained in their students. Guidance and counseling planning at Madrasah Tsanawiyah one Batang Hari continued to be carrin out by guiding the students and providing encouragment and motivation to student to become good students and achivers.The obstacles of guidance and counseling teachers on crrying out plants to improve students dicipline and responsibility that are atructured in the learning process,school that make guidance and counseling teachers a scourage (the teacher who is most feared by all students). Guidance and counseling teachers have not been to control their students by understanding the characteristics of very many students and there are still many students who violate the rules that have been set by the school.The efforts Made by guidance and counseling teachers to overcome the obstacles of student in crrying out dicipline and responsibility,namely by socialisi g the existance of guidnace and counseling in school, getting closed to their students by visiting students homes and looking for student data in order to understand the character prossessed by these student,besides that the guidance and counseling teachers conducts a search for student telent interests in order to find out what talents are prossessed by students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah One Batang hari, by knowing the talents of students, guidance and counseling teachers can develop their identity.the students themselves. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi model pembelajaran online bahasa Indonesia bagi mahasiswa Universitas Serang Raya selama masa pandemi COVID-19. Bentuk penelitian mengenai “Implementasi Model Pembelajaran Online Bahasa Indonesia Pada Masa Covid-19” yang dilakukan peneliti adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, catatan lapangan dan dokumentasi. Lokasi penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kampus Universitas Serang, lokasi tersebut dipilih sebagai lokasi penelitian karena responden penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa. Jumlah data responden pria berjumlah 16 orang dan responden wanita 15 orang. Dalam memahami materi bahasa Indonesia, mayoritas belum begitu paham. Tanggapan hambatan pembelajaran online bahasa Indonesia yang menjawab setuju sebesar 77,42% dan yang tidak setuju sebesar 22,58%. Jadi, sebagian besar masalah pembelajaran online mengalaminya. Pendapat mengenai penyampaian materi dari dosen bahasa Indonesia, dalam penyampaiannya melalui media online, yang menjawab setuju sebesar 67,74% dan tidak setuju sebesar 32,26%.

Mother tongue is the first language mastered by humans since the beginning of their life through interaction with fellow members of the language community, such as family and the environmental community. This shows that the first language is an initial process obtained by children in recognizing sounds and symbols called language. The process of language acquisition also develops with increasing age of children, from months of age to years of age, but what is discussed in this study is the age of 2 years 6 months in which the language process has begun to be clearly seen in the vocabulary spoken by the child. This study aims to determine the language acquisition of children aged 2 years 6 months at the level of phonology, morphology, syntax and semantics. This research is expected to be one of the information materials in terms of research on language acquisition. The research method used in this research is a qualitative method with a case study approach. Through this qualitative method, the fathian phonetic system will be described at the age of 2 years and 6 months.

The study population was all grade XI students North UISU senior High School, totaling 70 people, While the research class XI Science and Social Sciences, which compares two classes where class XI Science as an Experiment class uses the learning model of Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) with media in the form of video and social science class as a class control without using the learning model Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) using video media. Experiment obtained the value Lhitung < Ltable (0.88 < 0.137) proves that the variable X data is normally distributed. in the Control class ,the value of that Lhitung < Ltable (0.97 < 0.161) proves that the variable Y data is normally distributed. Based on homogeneity that has been done, then (1.4 < 3.98). This proves that the sample of researchers comes from a homogeneous population. Value of t(table) = 1.99 with t_count = 9.26. then the alternative hypothesis is accepted it can be concluded that the learning model of Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) with media in the form of video has a significant effect in increasing the ability to write explanatory texts.

This study is a type of Research And Development (R&D) that refers to the steps of the research and development model and Gall (1983:772). It was limited from ten steps to five steps that include preliminary studies, product design planning, product development, validation tests by expert lecturers and product revisions. The instrument used in the study was the form of an assessment scale to determine the feasibility of the module and its validity, by using a Likert Scale and arranged in the questionnaire. The data analysis was carried out by collecting qualitative and quantitative data from material experts and design experts. The results of the study on the development of teaching materials for writing sociocultural-based folklore texts indicated that the module product is feasible to be used as learning material. It is based on the assessment score obtained through the assessment score from the material expert 1 is 141 or as 81% with the Very Eligible criteria, the assessment score from the material expert 2 is 132 or as 75% with the Eligible criteria, the assessment score from the design expert 1 is 83 or as 83% with the Very Eligible criteria, and the assessment score from design expert 2 is 100 or as 100% with the Very Eligible criteria. Based on the validaton results of material experts and design experts, it can be concluded that teaching materials for writing folklore texts based on sociocultural are very feasible to be used as teaching materials.
