ABSTRACTThere are many scraps around where we live that can be used as a medium of learning. SMA Kartini Utama, SMA Teladan, and MA Alwashliyah are training place for the making of learning media of scraps. The method used is a lecture, question and answer, demonstration method, simulation and training. The goal is to increase teacherâs creativity by creating their own learning media in order to make an interesting learning process, students become active which ultimately will improve their learning outcomes.Key word: scraps, instructional media

Indonesian language courses are compulsory for every student. The purpose of this study is to describe the Indonesian language learning strategy by internalizing Indonesian language education in the development of critical thinking. Critical thinking criteria using FRISCO from Ennis. This research is qualitative with research instruments using observation, questionnaires, interviews, documentation, and tests. Whereas the data analysis technique following Miles and Huberman is done by data reduction and continuous data presentation. Data validity uses data triangulation. The findings show that the critical thinking skills of students on average meet the UISU National Standards. Development of a project-based Indonesian learning strategy that is tailored to the material. The process of internalizing Indonesian education emphasizes critical thinking skills in character building. Proven project-based Indonesian learning strategies can hone students' critical thinking skills so that student character education is formed.

Character education can be said as a process for improving human personality. In other words it is a human effort to establish themselves as a noble man.It is the fruit of a process of internalization of core values or positive values. Quality character education can be obtained in the teaching of literature through writing religious poetry with learning strategies TPS type. The purpose of this study is to see the effectiveness of developing constructive learning based learning models on subjects of Citizenship Education. Testing the effectiveness of this learning model is done by an experimental method by comparing the use of a blended learning model with a learning model that is usually done at the Education Faculty of the Islamic University of North Sumatra.This research was carried out in the second semester (two) of the 2017/2018 school year with a population of 156 students and the sample was 56 students.The sampling technique in this study used cluster random sampling and selected a history education study program totaling 29 students and a Pancasila and Citizenship Education study program totaling 27 students. Hypothesis testing using independent T test. Based on the results of the T test obtained a significance value of 4.270 with a degree of freedom of 54. While the p-value for the two-sided test (test-tailed) is 0,000 which is smaller tha a = 0,05.The rejected that the statistical hypothesis Ho : mexperiment = mcontrol. So that it can be concluded that the score of learning outcomes in the Citizenship Education course of the experimental group with different control groups.The conclusion of this study indicates that the results of the development of a constructive-based blended learning model in Citizenship Education courses are effective. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (research and development). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul pembelajaran cerpen berbasis sosial budaya untuk meningkatkan HOTS siswa kelas XI SMA. Untuk mengetahui tingkat kevalidan maka dilakukan penilaian oleh validator terhadap modul pembelajaran cerpen berbasis sosial budaya untuk meningkatkan HOTS siswa kelas XI SMA. Tingkat kevalidan modul dinilai berdasarkan penilaian dari validator yaitu ahli materi dan ahli desain. Prosedur pengembangan yang digunakan mengacu pada model pengembangan Thiagarajan (1974) yang telah dibatasi menjadi 3-D terdiri dari (1) pendefinisian, (2) perancangan, dan (3) pengembangan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa modul pembelajaran cerpen berbasis sosial budaya untuk meningkatkan HOTS siswa kelas XI SMA telah memenuhi kriteria sangat baik. Penilaian terhadap tingkat kevalidan modul oleh ahli materi dengan nilai persentase sebesar 87% menunjukan kriteria sangat baik dan ahli desain dengan nilai persentase sebesar 93% menunjukan kriteria sangat baik. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan modul pembelajaran cerpen berbasis sosial budaya untuk meningkatkan HOTS siswa kelas XI SMA menunjukan kriteria sangat baik dan valid untuk digunakan sebagai bahan ajar pembelajaran pada kelas XI SMA. Namun, modul belum disebarluaskan ke siswa karena sistem pembelajaran terganggu di masa Pandemi Covid 19 sehingga disebut dengan prototipe.

The East Java Ludruk show contains many moral values, and one of which contained in the East Java Ludruk text is the value of character education as the character building of the nation. This research aims to reveal moral values as the character building of the nation contained in the East Java Ludruk text by paying attention to linguistic (verbal and nonverbal) and non-linguistic (social, cultural, political, and religious) aspects by applying pragmatic learning based on critical discourse analysis so that character students can easily understand moral values found in the text of the East Jawa Ludruk. In addition, this research also aims to reveal that pragmatic learning in East Java Ludruk texts is also very important and needs to be understood by language teachers because the pragmatics emphasized in this study reveal good speech acts according to pragmatic rules, how to speak according to whom, to whom, where, and how. The results of this study indicate that human values related to the formation of the nation's character are found in the Ludruk text of East Java. In addition, the role of pragmatic learning in East Java's Ludruk text is also very important to facilitate language teachers in expressing good speech acts according to pragmatic learning rules.

In linguistic studies, one element that needs to be considered is how metaphor functions as an identity. Using words or word combinations in a manner that is not intended to convey their literal meaning is an example of a metaphor. Because of this, we can deduce that metaphor possesses a linguistic identity and functions as a point of view. This study uses qualitative research, which refers to research that does not get its findings via statistical processes or other types of calculation. The research in question processes pliable and malleable sorts of data. This makes it possible to adjust the data structure while the research is still in progress. The study's findings indicate that metaphor can be described as a disclosure of something that has a figurative meaning. That metaphor is linked to other types of figurative language, such as metonymy and personification. Metaphors can be studied as a branch of linguistics and analyzed based on the elements of sentences or the structures of sentences. It has been demonstrated via the study of languages that the components of metaphors consist of literal expressions as well as imaginative ones that are metaphorical.

This study aimed to describe the product of teaching materials development in the student’s worksheets based on local wisdom through a genre report approach in scientific writing material, to describe the response validation of the expert team of validators toward the prototype of teaching materials in the student’s worksheets in writing scientific papers based on local wisdom through genre report approach. The research method is 4-D research and development by Thiagarajan. This study used 3 stages, namely define, design, and development. At the development stage, it was only validated by four expert team validators. The data in this study is quantitative descriptive as the main data that collected by using an instrument with a Likert scale. The respondents consisted of material experts, design experts and media experts. The data analyzed using descriptive quantitative method and to calculate the average percentage of indicators used descriptive percentages. The results of developing a prototype worksheet’s students in writing scientific paper based on local wisdom through a genre report approach. It can be seen from the validation of the material experts by getting an average score as 91% with the criteria of "very satisfactory", thus the material can be a prototype of LKPD. The assessment of the media and design aspects of the experts gave an average rating as 96.8% with the criteria of "very satisfactory", it can be said that the media and design aspects can be a prototype of LKPD.
