Abstract

Pak Temmy Rahadi's Tempe UMKM is one of the tempe making UMKM located in Ds. Karangandong, Kec. Kedamean, Gresik. This UMKM was founded in 2010. Mr. Temmy Rahadi's tempe UMKM has a daily tempeh production target of 450 to 600 pcs and uses 80 kg to 100 kg of soybeans for daily production. The majority of customers are market middlemen, penyetan sellers, and home-based people in Kedamean, Gresik. In developing tempe MSMEs, there are various aspects that need to be considered to improve product quality and market competitiveness. One critical aspect is the tempeh packaging process, which plays an important role in ensuring product safety and quality. Currently, Mr. Temmy's tempeh MSMEs are facing significant problems related to the plastic hole punching tool for tempeh packaging which uses a knife in the process before packaging. The tool for punching plastic packaging using a knife requires a long processing time and also the results of the punching are not uniform, resulting in imperfect holes in the plastic packaging, thus making the tempe fermentation process less than optimal. Therefore, researchers are interested in raising this problem. By making a plastic hole punch tool for tempeh packaging, we hope that it will be able to improve the performance of tempeh production. In designing a plastic hole punch tool for tempeh packaging, researchers used ergonomic anthropometric approaches.

Abstract

CV. XYZ is a distributor of building materials but focuses on PVC pipe products under the Target brand. CV. XYZ was founded in 2013. At CV. XYZ is very necessary for inventory scheduling which needs to be carried out by CV. XYZ in order to always meet consumer demand. The author suggests inventory calculations and scheduling to meet consumer demand using the Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP) method. In the DRP method there are several stages of data needed, namely demand data, inventory, lead time, holding cost data. Data processing in this DRP method is demand forecasting, determining Lead Time, determining lot size, calculating safety stock, and creating DRP tables. In the calculation results, results were obtained for distribution costs for 5 pipe products which initially had excess stock and could not meet demand. For Target Pipe AW 1.0 x 4m products savings of 33%, Target Pipe AW 2 ½ x 4m savings of 67%, Target Pipe C 5/8 x 4m savings of 67%, Target Pipe D 1 ½ savings of 50%, Target Pipe D 6.0 x 4m savings of 67%.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the physical workload experienced by workers in Pegaraman 1 Sumenep, PT Garam (Persero). With a production of 115,000 tons per season, Pegaraman Area 1 Sumenep faces a huge challenge in achieving production targets with the use of efficient tools for workers. This is the problem that causes work fatigue, based on the identification of the research conducted. To overcome this problem, the research will focus on measuring the physical workload of salt loosening workers using the NBM, REBA, and CVL methods, in the hope of finding the right solution to solve problems related to work fatigue during the salt loosening process. The results showed that workers experienced physical workloads that needed action, with the results of the NBM recapitulation with a value of 50–70 risk levels, the REBA score with a value of 4, and CVL percentage values of 54.53% for the first worker, 55.21% for the second worker, and 53.67% for the third worker. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the use of simple tools causes fatigue in workers. Therefore, an innovation is needed in the design of salt loosening tools to reduce the risk of fatigue in workers.

Abstract

This research focuses on risk management in loading and unloading operations at SPMT Jamrud Nilam Mirah Branch, a multipurposeterminal in Surabaya. The aim of this research is to analyze risk events and their causes using the house of risk method, with a focus on determining risk agent priorities and mitigation strategies. In dry bulk cargo loading unloading operations, there are 36 risk events and 23 risk agent identified, with three dominant risk agent; lack of operator alertness, dust spills of hazardous bulk commodities and working at height, and slippery conditions. Based on these risk agents, shix key mitigation strategies were identified, which significantly reduced the estimated time of delay by 63% of the total cumulative ETD value. These strategies include the implementation of automatic warningsystems, the application of 3D technology, continuous risk monitoring and analysis system, anonymous reporting, the use of drones, and the use of predictive algorithms.

Abstract

Tri Jaya Sentosa is a marketing distributor for Frisian Flag dairy products. CV XYZ is located at Ds. Mojodeso, District. Cotton, Bojonegoro Regency. CV. Tri Jaya itself also often experiences a problem called the Bullwhip Effect in certain products. Demand from consumers often changes, so that sometimes it is difficult for companies to predict consumer demand, this situation often results in an increase or decrease in demand from consumers for a product. For this reason, an approach using Supply Chain Management (SCM) is needed. To overcome the problems that occur at CV. XYZ above, the author tries to provide a calculation solution to calculate, reduce and find out what causes the Bullwhip Effect. CV XYZ priorities for retail tend to experience a bullwhip effect. This situation ensures that product distribution is not constrained. CV XYZ priority is Tiga Bersaudara retail for BKM Sachet products because the bullwhip effect value is quite high, namely 2,825. This can mean that information distortion occurs so that information data from retail to sub-distributors does not run smoothly.

Abstract

Kamun Dam is a permanent weir with its water intake in the Cilutung River Basin (DAS). One major factor affecting water reduction at the weir is sediment settling at the upstream base. Effective and efficient management is crucial for irrigation water and networks to maximize benefits. Water loss from primary to secondary and tertiary channels negatively impacts irrigation system performance. The water flow through weirs and structures with varying discharges influences the water surface profile and its characteristics.This research aimed to determine the water level, total sediment transport capacity, water discharge loss in the West Cilutung main channel, and the water surface profile shape. The data comprised primary data from field investigations and secondary data, including average discharge data from 2008-2017.Water level analysis was performed using hydraulic formulas and the Trial and Error method. The highest water level recorded was 0.74 m in April, and the lowest was 0.22 m in August. Sediment transport analysis, using the Meyer-Peter Muller method, estimated that it would take approximately 13 years to fill the upstream of Kamun Dam with 1,436,470.04 m³ of sediment, without dredging, given a river width of 74.15 m and height of 3 m. Water discharge loss analysis, using the inflow and outflow method, showed Qrenc results from BLK.1-BLB.1 at 0.06 m³/sec and Qactual at 0.27 m³/sec. The water surface profile analysis, using the graphical integration method, yielded Qrenc results for profile I f(y) = 4786 and Qactual results for profile I f(y) = 789

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology has brought significant changes in various aspects of people's lives, including consumption and food services. One of these advances is the presence of food delivery service applications, such as GrabFood. This research aims to analyze the usability and usefulness of the GrabFood application in the Palembang area using a simple linear regression method. Data was obtained through a survey of GrabFood application users in Palembang. The independent variable is application usability, measured based on ease of use, accessibility, and speed of service. The dependent variable is the usefulness of the application, measured based on the level of user satisfaction and frequency of use. The results of the analysis show a significant positive relationship between usability and usefulness on the attitudes of GrabFood application users. In conclusion, increasing the usability of the GrabFoodapplication increases its usefulness for users in Palembang. This research has implications for developing and improving GrabFood application services to better meet user needs and expectations.

Abstract

This research evaluates the effectiveness of an AI-based fraud detection system in a finance startup using logistic regression methods. The primary objective is to assess whether this model is feasible for enhancing transaction security. The research methodology employed is quantitative, utilizing historical transaction data. The test results indicate that the logistic regression model can accurately predict the company's financial conditions, with an accuracy of 95%. However, there are challenges in detecting fraudulent transactions, as evidenced by the low recall for fraudulent transactions. The model evaluation was conducted using several performance metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score, as well as model fit tests including Hosmer and Lemeshow’s Goodness of Fit Test, Omnibus Test of Model Coefficients, and -2 log-likelihood. In conclusion, this model has the potential to enhance transaction security, but it still requires improvements to more effectively detect fraudulent transactions

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the level of satisfaction of Shopee application users among generation Z (Gen Z) using a simple regression method. In the ever-growing digital era, Shopee has become one of the most popular e-commerce platforms in Indonesia, especially among Gen Z who are very familiar with technology. This research uses primary data collected through an online survey of 30 Gen Z respondents who are active users of the Shopee application. The independent variables used in this research include ease of use, product variety, customer service quality, and promotions. The dependent variable measured is the level of user satisfaction. The results of simple regression analysis show that all independent variables have a positive and significant influence on the level of satisfaction of Shopee application users among Gen Z. The customer service quality variable has the most dominant influence, followed by ease of use, promotions and product variety. The findings of this research provide practical implications for Shopee management in improving marketing strategies and service quality to maintain and increase user satisfaction among Gen Z. This research also provides academic contributions by adding insight into the factors that influence e-commerce user satisfaction among this generation. young. This abstract provides a brief but comprehensive overview of the aims, methods, results and implications of the research conducted, in accordance with academic journal writing standards.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology in this era has brought significant changes to various aspects of society's life, especially with the emergence of social media, which adds complexity to individual technology needs. One of the essential technologies is the WhatsApp application. WhatsApp is a cross-platform messaging application that allows message exchanges using internet data packages, similar to email, web browsing, and others. The various unique features offered by WhatsApp make it the primary medium used by university students to communicate and share information. To evaluate the performance and security of the WhatsApp application regarding consumer trust, an analysis was conducted using the usability testing method. By distributing questionnaires to university students, 50 respondents were obtained. This research aims to determine whether WhatsApp has satisfactory performance and security among university students.
