Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are one of the very strong drivers of the people's economy and make a significant contribution to the Indonesian economy. MSMEs are one form of business that can survive the economic crisis that has occurred in Indonesia and are one of the focuses of the development program initiated by the Indonesian government to continue to develop and advance. In order for MSMEs to develop well, information is needed for managers in making decisions. One form of information that is useful in the decision-making process by the owner or manager is accounting information (Bookkeeping). Abstract

This community service activity was carried out with the aim of improving the recording of financial transactions in culinary businesses in Karangsalam Village, Baturraden. This activity was motivated by the need for culinary business actors for easy access and availability of financial data to make it easier to find out the financial condition of their business. The community service activity was carried out after the Community Service Team discussed with Partners to ensure the right tools and technology to be selected and implemented. The results of the discussion concluded that Partners could be assisted by implementing point of sales (POS) tools and technology. The implementation of POS tools and technology in Partner businesses is carried out in several stages, the first stage related to the introduction of hardware and software, the second stage related to the trial implementation accompanied by training from the Community Service Team, and the third stage related to the use of devices accompanied by evaluation and monitoring from the Community Service Team. After Partners successfully operated the devices provided, now the recording of culinary business financial transactions is better. Currently, business actors can easily and quickly monitor the movement of stock, see cash in and out, and find out the financial position of their business. Thus, this community service activity has succeeded in solving the problems of recording financial transactions experienced by Partners.

Abstract

Early entrepreneurship education is one of the strategic steps to shape children's character and skills in facing the development of the times. This paper reviews the entrepreneurship education program at the Asma Nadia Reading House, Tambaksogra Village, Sumbang District, Banyumas Regency, which aims to foster entrepreneurial interest and skills in children. The activities include making crafts from used bottles, making snacks, financial management training, introducing e-commerce, and product photography and graphic design training. The results of these activities show a positive impact on creativity, a basic understanding of entrepreneurship, digital literacy, and children's awareness of the importance of financial planning. This entrepreneurship education program has fostered children's interest in entrepreneurship and is expected to be a reference for children to start entrepreneurship.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) memiliki peran signifikan dalam perekonomian Indonesia, namun masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan, terutama dalam hal pemasaran di era digital. Penerapan strategi pemasaran digital yang efektif sangat penting untuk membantu UMKM memperluas jangkauan pasar dan meningkatkan daya saing mereka. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pemasaran digital bagi UMKM anggota Aspikmas di Kecamatan Baturraden, Kabupaten Banyumas, melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan intensif. Kegiatan dimulai dengan wawancara dan focus group discussion (FGD) untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan dan masalah yang dihadapi peserta. Pelatihan diikuti oleh 20 usaha mikro, yang dilaksanakan dengan metode ceramah dan praktik langsung. Peserta diajarkan teknik pengambilan foto produk, editing menggunakan aplikasi Canva, dan pengunggahan konten pemasaran ke media sosial. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui penugasan mengunggah konten yang dihasilkan ke platform digital seperti WhatsApp, Instagram, dan Facebook. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan peserta dalam hal pengambilan gambar produk yang lebih menarik dan penyusunan konten pemasaran digital. Peserta juga mulai memahami pentingnya mencantumkan informasi yang relevan, seperti logo halal dan deskripsi produk, untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan konsumen. Meskipun beberapa tantangan masih dihadapi, seperti rendahnya pemahaman mengenai penggunaan e-commerce dan iklan berbayar, pendampingan ini berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan dasar pemasaran digital peserta. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan dampak jangka panjang terhadap pertumbuhan usaha mikro di Baturraden dan mendorong penerapan digitalisasi pemasaran secara lebih luas.

Abstract

UMKM Zee Collection, yang bergerak di bidang batik ecoprint, menghadapi tantangan dalam mengelola keuangan, kapasitas produksi, dan pemasaran digital. Keterbatasan ini menimbulkan keresahan terkait keberlanjutan bisnis dan daya saing di pasar yang semakin kompetitif. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dengan memberikan pelatihan dan bimbingan teknis dalam peningkatan keterampilan pelaporan keuangan sederhana, optimalisasi kapasitas produksi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan kemampuan memenuhi permintaan pasar, serta penerapan strategi pemasaran digital guna memperluas jangkauan pasar dan memperkuat branding produk. Metode yang digunakan dalam program ini meliputi pelatihan langsung, pendampingan, dan monitoring perkembangan UMKM. Hasil yang diharapkan dari program ini adalah peningkatan kinerja UMKM Zee Collection dalam pengelolaan keuangan, kapasitas produksi, serta pemanfaatan teknologi digital untuk pemasaran, sehingga mampu bersaing di pasar yang lebih luas.

Abstract

Traditional stores continue to experience the following weaknesses: unclear organizational structure and work division, lack of recording and reporting financial transactions, and imperfect accounting information systems. This PKM implementation is taking place at the Haekal Shop located at Jl. Margo Mulyo No. 2RT 008 RW 008, Arcawinangun, East Purwokerto, and is expected to be completed by the end of October 2023. This PKM aims to implement an accounting information system for the management of financial transactions in traditional partner stores. The output of the 2014 National Strategic Research, which collects data qualitatively through in-depth interviews and Focus Group Discussions, is the product. The majority of traditional shops in Banyumas still manage their financial transactions manually, while others have already adopted basic computer systems, according to the findings of this study. In general, these traditional businesses have not instituted accounting recording and reporting in accordance with Financial Accounting Standards for Micro, Small, and Medium Entities (SAK EMKM). In 2014, research based on these findings developed an appropriate model for a retail or shop financial transaction management system. Using Toko Haekal as a partner, this PKM activity is presently in the stage of implementing the accounting information system model resulting from this research in the form of a manual-based and computer-based accounting system.

Abstract

Community service is one of the essential pillars of national and state development. One aspect that needs to be emphasized in community service is building an entrepreneurial spirit. Entrepreneurship is not only about establishing a business or company but also about developing an innovative and proactive mindset in facing challenges and seeking opportunities. In the Indonesian context, building an entrepreneurial spirit is very important, considering the great potential this country has, both in terms of natural resources and human resources. However, this potential has yet to be fully exploited, mainly due to the lack of entrepreneurial spirit in society. Therefore, through this community service, we hope to help build an entrepreneurial spirit among teachers at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Wonogiri. With a strong entrepreneurial spirit, people can be more independent, creative, and innovative when facing challenges and taking advantage of existing opportunities. This activity was carried out on June 22 2024, at SD 1 Wonogiri. This event was attended by the principal and teachers of SD 1 Muhammadiyah Wonogiri. This community service will carry the title "Instilling an Entrepreneurial Spirit in Teachers at SD 1 Muhammadiyah Wonogiri". It is hoped that this Community Service can provide additional knowledge to teachers and provide opportunities that can improve the welfare of teachers at SD 1 Muhammadiyah Wonogiri.

Abstract

MBKM riset merupakan program dari Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset dan Teknologi yang bertujuan untuk mempersiapkan mahasiswa dalam menghadapi dunia kerja atau karier akademis, serta meningkatkan kualitas penelitian di Indonesia. Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Unsoed terdapat beberapa mahasiswa dengan masa studi yang belum sesuai harapan. Hal tersebut perlu dicegah dengan meningkatkan kapasitas mahasiswa dalam menulis artikel ilmiah melalui beberapa cara seperti parafrase dan manajemen referensi melalui mendeley reference manager untuk menghindari plagiarisme sehingga pembuatan artikel ilmiah menjadi lebih efektif dan efisien. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat meliputi persiapan pelatihan, pelaksanaan pelatihan, evaluasi dan umpan balik, tindak lanjut, dan pelaporan kegiatan.

Abstract

In the digital era, the use of information technology has become a key factor in business development, especially for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). This community service program focuses on providing training and mentoring in digital marketing for MSMEs in Brani Village, Cilacap Regency. The program aims to enhance participants’ understanding and skills in utilizing social media platforms, particularly Instagram, to promote local products such as cassava chips, salted eggs, and peyek. The training covers basic digital marketing concepts, content creation strategies, and methods to increase audience engagement. Despite facing challenges like limited digital literacy and infrastructure, the program succeeded in improving participants’ ability to create engaging content and manage online business accounts. This initiative is expected to empower MSMEs to expand their market reach and increase competitiveness through digital transformation.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Banyumas possess considerable potential to contribute to the regional economy through export activities. However, numerous MSMEs encounter significant challenges, particularly in understanding export procedures, adhering to international quality standards, and developing effective global marketing strategies. Our community engagement initiative aims to enhance the preparedness of Banyumas MSMEs to access international markets through a structured coaching clinic program, conducted in collaboration with Association of Small and Medium Enterprises and Industries of Banyumas (ASPIKMAS) The implementation methodology encompasses comprehensive training sessions and targeted mentoring programs. The anticipated outcomes include an improvement in the knowledge and competencies of MSME actors regarding export processes, as well as an expanded understanding of international market opportunities. It is expected that this initiative will significantly enhance the global competitiveness of Banyumas MSMEs, thereby fostering economic growth and sustainability in the region.
