Abstract

Banaran is a small area in Pasir Kidul Village, West Purwokerto, Banyumas. Banaran as a typical Banyumas Bandol crafts center is in danger of losing its distinctive characteristics. This makes information related to Bandol Banaran crafts increasingly difficult to find even in the Bandol Banaran crafts center. The website is present as a solution to become an information center for Bandol Banaran crafts. The presence of the Website allows Bandol Banaran crafts to be reached by a wider community. The website provides complete information related to the history of Bandol Banaran crafts, Bandol products, Bandol craft preservation communities, information on Bandol craft preservation activities, as well as product order contact information that can be accessed by the wider community easily and quickly. Information data was obtained through in-depth interview techniques with local craftsmen and cultural experts. The beauty and uniqueness of Bandol crafts are displayed online so that the website can be an information center as well as a promotional tool for Bandol Banaran craft MSMEs. This is expected to help restore the glory of Banaran Bandol crafts and improve its preservation.

Abstract

Lumbir Subdistrict in Banyumas Regency, Central Java, holds significant economic potential through various Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) sectors, including traditional food industries, handicrafts, garment production, as well as service and retail trade. However, the majority of SME actors still rely on conventional marketing methods and possess low levels of digital literacy, which limits the market reach of their products. This community engagement activity aims to enhance the capacity of SME actors in utilizing digital marketing through intensive training and mentoring. The methods employed include needs assessment, training in digital content creation, the use of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok), e-commerce platforms (Shopee, Tokopedia, and local marketplaces), as well as branding strategy implementation. The results of the program indicate increased awareness among SME participants regarding the importance of digital marketing, a higher number of SMEs actively marketing their products online, and improved interaction and engagement on digital platforms. Digital marketing assistance has proven effective in strengthening SME competitiveness and expanding market access, particularly for business actors in semi-rural areas such as Lumbir Subdistrict.

Abstract

Innovation cannot be separated from business life because innovation is the spirit or soul of a company to develop. Therefore, innovation management is an important factor in determining the development of small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The role of SMEs in a country's economy is very important. SMEs symbolize the strength of a country's economic development. UKM Suka Nicky is one of the UKMs that has been established since 1996, starting from a small tempe chips business carried out by Sukini as a business actor. Some of the challenges that have been experienced in developing the UKM Suka NIcky business include product innovation, advances in Information Technology, product variations and market segmentation. The aims and objectives of implementing community service activities at UKM Suka Nicky are one form of implementing the tri dharma of higher education which must be carried out by lecturers as a form of community service. This program is expected to increase insight into marketing strategies, which in turn can provide additional knowledge, knowledge that can be used as additional income so that prosperity can be achieved.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship training activities organized by the Banten Province Cooperatives and SMEs Service are a strategic step in increasing the capacity of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The training, which was held on June 24-25, 2025, was attended by 50 business actors and focused on risk management and was interested in business. Through the delivery of material from professional speakers, participants are expected to be able to implement effective and sustainable business management strategies. The results of the training show that a good understanding of business management can help MSMEs maintain business stability and growth. In addition, this training also offers an understanding of the importance of innovation and adjustment in facing the challenges of a changing market. Through improving skills and knowledge, it is hoped that MSMEs can be better prepared to face challenges and take advantage of existing opportunities, so that they can contribute to local and national economic growth.

Abstract

Mangunegaran Village in Mrebet District, Purbalingga Regency, is home to many Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), particularly in the traditional food and bamboo handicraft sectors. However, the utilization of digital marketing among local MSME actors remains low. This community service activity aimed to improve MSME actors’ understanding of digital marketing through basic outreach and training. The methods used included needs identification, material preparation, outreach activities, and a simple evaluation using pre-test and post-test. The results showed an increase in participants’ understanding of the importance of digital branding, simple content creation, and the use of social media for promotion. This outreach is expected to serve as an initial step for MSMEs in Mangunegaran to expand their market through digital channels.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of information technology today has brought significant changes toward the era of digitalization, with many business activities now being conducted digitally. One such development is the transformation of accounting systems into digital formats, encompassing the identification, classification, and summarization of transactions through the use of digital technology. SMA Kristen YSKI Semarang, a private high school located in Semarang, has yet to implement technology-based learning that supports business activities. As a result, students are not familiar with commonly used digital applications in the business world. One widely used application in the business sector is the digital accounting application, Spreadsheet. Therefore, this Community Service activity aimed to provide training for students to introduce and teach the use of digital accounting applications for recording business activities and to enhance the skills of SMA Kristen YSKI Semarang students, enabling them to be more competitive in the job market after graduation. The training was conducted through hands-on application of Spreadsheet usage based on given case studies. Based on the students’ responses to the questionnaire, it was evident that there was an increase in their understanding of digital accounting (Spreadsheet application) before and after the training.

Abstract

This community engagement initiative aims to enhance the understanding of micro-enterprises in Indonesia regarding the dangers of fraudulent investments, which are increasingly prevalent and often target small business groups with promises of high returns. The target audience includes micro-entrepreneurs in the [insert location], who typically have limited access to financial literacy and reliable investment information. The implementation methods involved face-to-face and online sessions, including awareness campaigns, interactive discussions, and simulations to identify characteristics of illegal investments. The results indicate a significant improvement in participants’ understanding of fraudulent investment schemes, the importance of investment institution legality, and preventive steps to avoid financial scams. This program also produced a simple educational module that can be independently used by micro-entrepreneurs. The activity underscores the importance of collaboration between academics, local governments, and financial institutions in strengthening the financial literacy resilience of the public, particularly within the vulnerable micro-enterprise sector.

Abstract

The rapid development of coffee MSMEs in Labuan Bajo, driven by its status as a Super Priority Tourism Destination, highlights the urgent need for better human resource management (HR) practices. Many of these MSMEs still operate HR structures informally, without clear job descriptions, performance evaluations, or motivation systems—which ultimately leads to unclear roles and low employee morale. This community service program aims to strengthen human resource competencies and employee work motivation through a Community-Based Human Resource Management (CBHRM) approach. Interventions were carried out through participatory training, co-designing HR tools (such as visual job descriptions and performance scorecards), as well as structured feedback mechanisms in several selected coffee MSMEs. The results show increased role clarity, stronger engagement, and more effective teamwork. In addition, employee involvement in HR planning helps drive innovation and strengthen organizational culture. The CBHRM model has proven to be effective in aligning local cultural values with practical HR solutions, as well as driving sustainable productivity and job satisfaction.

Abstract

Online gambling has become a growing social issue in Indonesian society, particularly among youth and vulnerable groups. This community service initiative aims to prevent online gambling addiction through a comprehensive outreach program conducted in collaboration with local community organizations in Purbalingga Regency. The implementation methodology includes interactive educational sessions, awareness campaigns, and community-based prevention programs. The program focuses on three main pillars: education on the dangers of online gambling, strengthening community resilience, and promoting healthy alternative activities. Expected outcomes include increased public awareness of the risks of online gambling, enhanced community capacity to identify and prevent gambling addiction, and strengthened social support networks. Abstract

Banyumas Regency, Central Java, holds significant economic potential through various SME sectors, ranging from trade and services to home industries. However, most SME actors still face challenges in understanding and fulfilling tax obligations, particularly regarding the use of the Coretax System and the calculation of the Final Income Tax for SMEs. This community service activity aims to improve tax literacy and practical skills of SME actors through training and mentoring. The methods used include needs assessment, theoretical training, practical assistance, and evaluation using pretests and post-tests. The results show an increase in the average participant score from 65 in the pretest to 80 in the post-test, with an average increase of 15%. Eight out of ten participants experienced significant improvement in understanding and skills. This activity demonstrates that structured mentoring can enhance compliance and capability of SME taxpayers in utilizing the Coretax System and managing the Final Income Tax for SMEs accurately.
