Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengalaman dan pengetahuan baru kepada para peserta dalam penyusunan literature review. Kegiatan ini berupa pelatihan yang dilakukan sedemikian rupa sehingga dengan memperhatikan kondisi peserta. Kegiatan PKM ini di lakukan di Lingkungan STAI Jam’iyah Mahmudiyah, Langkat. Tema mengenai penulisan artikel ilmiah menggunakan metode systematic literature review dipilih dikarenakan kebutuhan akan literature review pada penelitian yang akan dilakukan oleh dosen dan mahasiswa. Pemahaman terkait systematic literature review diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas artikel ilmiah dari sisi penemuan novelty dan memperkuat originalitas penelitian

Abstract

Student organization management is a learning forum for students to develop themselves in organization, leadership, and learning to carry out activities, ranging from academic to non-academic ones. The purpose of the student organization was established, namely to create an internal campus government institution with the aim of helping achieve the vision of a university. The method used in Community Service (PkM) is qualitative using a descriptive approach. The results of community service are the management strategy of the HMJ organization of MPI STAI Jam'iyah Mahmudiyah Langkat students in preparing work program designs that will be realized using SWOT analysis to achieve the desired results. SWOT analysis is a management tool used to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. This analysis can help organizations understand the conditions of work programs that will be launched before they are realized and formulate strategies based on these findings. The following is an example of how SWOT analysis can be applied in identifying student organization work programs.

Abstract

Marriage dispensation is a legal policy that provides an exception to the minimum marriage age requirement as stipulated in Law Number 16 of 2019 concerning marriage. Although it aims to provide solutions in urgent situations, in practice, marriage dispensation is often requested due to premarital relationships that result in out-of-wedlock pregnancies. This phenomenon not only has legal implications but also affects children's physical and mental health, education, and social welfare. The implementation of this study was carried out through socialization and educational sessions for adolescents and the community of Pasiran Village. This activity employed a qualitative descriptive method and direct observation as data collection techniques. The findings indicate that the phenomenon of marriage dispensation due to premarital relationships is a complex issue that requires a comprehensive approach in its resolution. The primary factor driving marriage dispensation requests is teenage pregnancy outside of marriage, which often occurs due to a lack of understanding of reproductive health, weak parental supervision, and a social environment that is permissive toward premarital relationships. The family plays a crucial role in establishing proper parenting patterns, fostering open communication, and instilling moral and religious values in children from an early age. Additionally, society is also expected to contribute by creating a healthy social environment and supporting stricter policies regarding marriage dispensation applications. Through synergy between families, communities, and the government, it is hoped that a conducive environment for children's and adolescents' development can be established, allowing them to grow and develop optimally without being trapped in the negative consequences of early marriage.

Abstract

Penyalahgunaan rokok dan narkoba di kalangan remaja merupakan masalah serius yang dapat memengaruhi kesehatan fisik, mental, dan masa depan mereka. Pendidikan dan keagamaan memainkan peran penting dalam membentuk sikap dan perilaku remaja untuk menghindari bahaya tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran pendidikan dan keagamaan dalam pencegahan bahaya rokok dan narkoba di kalangan remaja di MTS Al-Mu’min Desa Dogang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui sosialisasi yang melibatkan ceramah, diskusi kelompok, dan simulasi, serta melalui wawancara dengan siswa, guru, dan ustaz/ustazah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan di MTS Al-Mu’min berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman siswa mengenai bahaya rokok dan narkoba. Selain itu, ajaran agama yang diterapkan di sekolah juga berperan besar dalam membentuk karakter siswa untuk menjauhi penyalahgunaan zat adiktif. Sinergi antara pendidikan formal dan pendidikan agama terbukti efektif dalam menciptakan kesadaran dan ketahanan moral di kalangan siswa. Namun, pengaruh teman sebaya dan lingkungan luar masih menjadi tantangan utama dalam pencegahan penyalahgunaan rokok dan narkoba. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya lebih lanjut untuk memperkuat kolaborasi antara sekolah, keluarga, dan masyarakat dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung gaya hidup sehat bagi remaja.

Abstract

Muka Paya Village, located in Hinai District, is one of the villages that faces major challenges in terms of economy and access to health services. Most of the villagers rely on the agricultural sector as their main source of income, but the unstable agricultural output often means that their income is not enough to meet their daily needs. In addition, access to adequate health facilities is still limited, with many residents having difficulty obtaining quality medical services. Seeing this reality, a humanitarian mission through a food aid program and free medical treatment is very important to carry out. This program aims to provide direct assistance to the people of Muka Paya Village in the form of food aid covering basic necessities such as rice, oil, sugar, and other needs. In addition, the free medical treatment program is expected to provide decent access to health for underprivileged residents, so that they no longer need to worry about high medical costs

Abstract

This calligraphy training program conducted at SDN 050612 Suka Jadi Village aims to introduce calligraphy as an art form to elementary school students, enhancing their artistic skills, fostering an appreciation for cultural arts, and providing insights into the significance of calligraphy in Islamic contexts. The program was conducted in two sessions: the first for introducing the theory of calligraphy, and the second for hands-on practice in writing Arabic letters. Using methods of lectures, demonstrations, and direct practice, the training successfully showed positive results, where students exhibited improvements in their calligraphy skills. Despite some challenges such as time constraints and limited resources, this training program successfully engaged students and provided long-term benefits, particularly in their artistic development.

Abstract

Violence and sexual harassment against children remain serious issues in various regions, including Paya Rengas Village, Hinai District, Langkat Regency. This socialization program was carried out by KKN (Student Community Service) group 07 to raise awareness among elementary school children about the forms of violence and sexual harassment, as well as preventive measures. The activity involved educational experts as speakers and was conducted at the village office hall using interactive lectures, simulations, and open discussions. The results showed an 85% increase in participants’ understanding of violence and preventive actions. Additionally, around 78% of children stated that they felt more confident in reporting cases of violence to teachers or parents. As a follow-up, the Office of Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection (PPA) of Langkat Regency plans to establish a Community-Based Integrated Child Protection (PATBM) program in Paya Rengas Village to create a more effective and sustainabl child protection system. The success of this program demonstrates that education and multi-stakeholder involvement are crucial in reducing child violence rates.

Abstract

Kegiatan sosialisasi perbankan syariah ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat Desa Tamaran, Kecamatan Hinai, mengenai konsep dasar perbankan syariah, jenis akad yang digunakan, serta produk yang ditawarkan. Kurangnya literasi keuangan syariah menjadi tantangan utama dalam perkembangan perbankan syariah di Indonesia, sehingga diperlukan upaya edukasi yang efektif. Metode kegiatan yang digunakan meliputi penyuluhan, demonstrasi, pelatihan, diskusi, serta evaluasi untuk memastikan pemahaman peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta mengalami peningkatan pemahaman signifikan mengenai prinsip dan mekanisme kerja perbankan syariah, dengan lebih dari 80% peserta mampu menjelaskan konsep dasar dan perbedaan utama antara perbankan syariah dan konvensional. Selain itu, masyarakat mulai menunjukkan minat untuk mempertimbangkan layanan perbankan syariah dalam aktivitas finansial mereka. Dengan pendekatan yang komunikatif dan mudah dipahami, kegiatan ini berhasil memberikan kontribusi positif dalam meningkatkan literasi keuangan syariah di Desa Tamaran. Ke depannya, diperlukan kegiatan serupa secara berkelanjutan untuk memperluas jangkauan edukasi dan meningkatkan inklusi keuangan syariah di masyarakat

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the socialization of character formation through noble moral values ​​in the activities of the short-term Islamic boarding school in Gampong Lengkong, Langsa Baro District. The short-term Islamic boarding school activity is one of the efforts to instill religious and moral values ​​in the younger generation, so that it is expected to form a good character and noble morals. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the socialization of noble moral values ​​in the short-term Islamic boarding school activities includes teaching about honesty, discipline, responsibility, and mutual respect. In addition, this activity also involves active participation from the community and parents, who play an important role in supporting the process of forming children's character. Thus, the short-term Islamic boarding school in Gampong Lengkong not only functions as a place to learn religion, but also as a means to form a generation with good morals and ready to face the challenges of the times. This study is expected to contribute to the development of character education in the Islamic boarding school environment and the wider community.

Abstract

Community Empowerment Program through the Socialization of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Fruit Salad Production in Sanggalima Village, Gebang District, Langkat Regency. This program aims to enhance the skills and knowledge of the local community in developing independent business opportunities. Organized by KKN 05 students, this socialization initiative serves as an effort to improve the entrepreneurial competencies of residents. Through educational outreach and training in fruit salad production, the program seeks to enable the community to create high-value processed products that contribute to household economic sustainability. The implementation of this program involves educational counseling, practical demonstrations of fruit salad preparation, and fundamental marketing training utilizing social media platforms. The outcomes indicate a notable improvement in the community’s ability to process fruit into nutritious and attractive food products while simultaneously fostering new MSME-based business opportunities within the village. Accordingly, this initiative is expected to serve as a foundational step toward strengthening the economic independence of the Sanggalima Village community.
