Abstract

HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skill) is a thinking process of students at a higher cognitive level. The main goal of HOTS is to hone the thinking skills of students at a higher level, related to the ability to think critically, creatively, solve problems, and make decisions in complex situations. The student book on Christian Religious Education and Characteristics for SMP class VII published by the Ministry of Education and Culture, the 2017 revised edition is a book intended for students as a guide in learning activities. From the results of data analysis, it shows that HOTS content that appears most in textbooks is to analyze (C4) 46, 07% then create (C6) 33, 34% and the least evaluate (C5) 20, 58%. Therefore, the book is stated to follow the needs of junior high school students because it contains more cognitive abilities to analyze than other cognitive abilities. However, when viewed from the cognitive level, the book is not coherent because it produces (C6) more than evaluates (C5). Keywords: HOTS, Student Textbooks

Abstract

The entire contents of the universe including humans experience interactions that are sometimes constructive but also destructive. Now the world seems to be in a destructive interaction. The entire universe is in a phase called the ecological crisis, namely environmental damage as the suffering of all God's creation. This suffering can be responded to Christianly through Paul's theology, which is God's saving gift that can reach all beings in the universe. Thus, Christians must do salvation work for all beings. One way that can be done is through organic farming, which is an effort to respect nature because nature has value in itself. This form of appreciation is expressed through our participation in nurturing this nature.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence on prosocial behavior of students in South Halmahera 9 High School. The sample in this study were students of South Halmahera 9 High School, totaling 171 people. Data collection techniques are done by distributing questionnaires and interviews. The three questionnaires distributed were the emotional intelligence questionnaire, spiritual intelligence, and prosocial behavior. The collected data was analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis through the SPSS windows version 22.0 program. Through regression analysis the results show that emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence have a significant positive effect on students' prosocial behavior (R2 = 0.587, Fcount = 119, 340; at a significance level of 0.000 <0.05).

Abstract

This article will give information about some responses from the schoolars in relation to Fowler’s theory. Some schoolars gave support for the theory but there are also unsupport to the theory. This article will start with introduction that summaries of Fowler’s book – Stage of Faith: The Psychology of Human deelopment and the Quest for Meaning. Then, continue with some respones. The article will end with some conclusion that I write in closing section.

Abstract

The issue of fusion is often the main obstacle in trying to understand the scriptures even though it is realized that the development of the world of interpretation is increasingly rapid, but increasingly people are trapped in the powerlessness of interpreting the text Scripture. Dilthey's hermeneutics and contributions to the critical socio-historical method of interpreting scriptures are interesting issues to be discussed in this article by referring to two fundamental questions, namely: 1) What is Dilthey's rationale and the methods he uses in understanding historical reality? 2). What is the relevance of Dilthey's hermeneuit in the world of biblical interpretation. Answering the question, this study used the literature study method as an effort to find literature sources and documents as reference sources to understand Dilthey's work in relation to the issues to be discussed. The results of the research reveal that Dilthey's ideas about experience, expression and is an important idea in understanding historical reality as an actor who is also part of historicity. Based on three basic things, the concept of verstehen emerged as a way to interpret historical reality. The development of socio-historical interpretations in the process of interpreting the scriptural texts was contributed by Hemeneutic Dilteyh.

Abstract

Penitentiary or abbreviated prisons is an institution of criminal justice sub-system has a strategic function as the implementation of imprisonment as well as a place of coaching for prisoners are required to be able to implement a penitentiary system. This is mandated in Law no. 12 Year 1995 About Pemasyarakatan that aims to establish prisoners built to be a whole person, realize mistakes, improve themselves, and not repeat the crime so that it can be accepted back by the community, can actively play a role in development, and can live as a natural citizen is good and responsible. For the citizens who are undergoing their criminal term in prison must face various obstacles. Living a life in prisons is the most extreme change of life. Many difficult people are faced with the fact that they have to live and adapt in prisons. The weight of the burden of life often makes them feel hopeless, sad prolonged, do not have the spirit of life, even the very extreme they no longer believe in kemakaKuahKodipta The Creator. In these situations, the people in need are pastoral care so that they can repent of the sins committed and the new life according to the will of God. Thus pastoral care has a very important influence in guiding the lives of the targeted people, so as not to commit the same mistake (sin) and improve life for the better according to the will of God. With pastoral care, of course, it can enhance the deep appreciation of one's faith in the religion it embraces, or in other words increases the religiosity of the assisted citizens.

Abstract

Problems in applying democratic leadership style in the youth and youth committee of GBI in the Baguala sub-district of Ambon city, can be seen in terms of delegation of tasks not accompanied by delegation of authority, program planning tendencies not formulated together, and low involvement of youth and youth members in each activity DPA. This study aims to measure how much the democratic leadership style variable at the GBI youth and youth commission in Baguala sub-district, Ambon City consists of indicators; Member Participation, Member Control, and Award for Members, viewed from various categories of respondents' backgrounds, namely: gender, marital status, age, service category and KPA. This study uses a quantitative method with descriptive data analysis then the data per indicator is cross-analyzed with various background categories. The results showed that the Leadership Style of Democracy in the Youth and Youth Commission of the Indonesian Bethel Church in Baguala District, Ambon City, according to respondents, was done well, which was 81.5% than expected. The highest rating according to respondents is on the indicator of respect for members that is equal to 83.5% followed by indicators of member control at 82.4%, on the contrary the lowest rating on the indicators of Member Participation is 79.5%. Cross-analysis with various background categories shows that the tendency of involvement of older members is far more dominant than younger members.

Abstract

Church services now require servants such as elders and deacons who are professional and responsible for service. Elders and Deacons in the church today, many do not understand their duties. For them, Elders and Deacons are only ecclesiastical offices that elevate social status in the church and society. In fact, many elders and deacons do not understand their duties so that they are only limited to the task of program routines without understanding the purpose and meaning of the services performed. Therefore, Deacon Elders must be aware that the service they are doing is pastoral. Every service carried out must be based on theological thinking about pastoralism in one way, namely pastoral counseling. Elders and Deacons must carry out pastoral functions in their lives. Pastoral visits must be carried out maximally so that the process of counseling or pastoral care can be carried out as a service assignment for Elders and Deacons.

Abstract

This paper is a biblical reflective work that seeks to analyze the connectedness between the theocracy ideas in the Old Testament (Israel) and the Direct Democracy System implemented in Indonesia. It is not denied that the two state systems must have their own context, apart from a great distance and time. However, that does not mean there can not be found a wedge between the two. So with this the author tries to explore any ideal values ??in the theocracy system at the time of Israel Bible that eventually can become a very useful capital for the basic participation of citizens (people) in Indonesia in the direct democratic system. The hope is that people's mood to contribute to their participation in politics can be answered well.

Abstract

Confederation the tribes of Israel adopted the belief in Yahweh. This religiousitas have implication to politic sistem of Israel starting from the desert until Israel monarchy. Relegiousitas Yahweh appears on theocracy is take place in politic system, social, economy in Israel. This is make political system around the nation with Israel: Kings no no wrong, the King is god or son of god, system captalism and feudalism. Relegiousitas Yahweh has a power within the leadership of king of Israel economy, social revolution. But the transformation of Israel’s system into the same system with nation about getting noticed serius writers of The Old Testament, like writers Ur-Deuteronomy in Deuteronoy 17:14-20. The theory of the political system, David Easton is used in line with the contribution of the results of the hermeneutist text is the Israel political system must be fixed so that theocracy organization values living together can maintain the exixtence of Israel within the patern agrrement suzerain vassal.
