Abstract

This paper describes the application of field trips for early childhood learning. One of the most important elements in education includes PAUD is an educator or teacher who has professional competence, pedagogical competence, personality competence and social competence. In Undang-undang Nomor 14 tahun 2005 concerning Teachers and lecturers it is stated that teachers are professional educators with the main task of educating, teaching, guiding, directing, training, evaluating, and evaluating students in early childhood education in formal education, basic education, and secondary education. In conjunction with teaching and learning activities, the notion of tourism is that students will learn an object where the object is located. Thus, what is called work actually is meant to learn something. Tourism is a method of pursuit carried out by inviting students to visit an event or place that has something to do with something discussed. The method of tourism is a way of presenting learning material by bringing students directly to the object being studied, and the object is outside the class. Thus, what is called work actually is meant to learn something.

Abstract

The formation and development of a person's character is greatly influenced by the environment. The young generation is currently faced with one of the challenges, namely the phenomenon of alay in their surroundings. The alay phenomenon has a positive but also negative impact on the young generation of the church in living their lives as God's children. This paper intends to show the reflection effort of Ecclesiastes 11: 9-10 on the phenomenon of alay in the association of the young church generation as a reality.

Abstract

Current technological developments have diluted regional boundaries including clear boundaries about culture. The mass culture initiated by certain people is considered an absolute culture whose presence has increasingly eroded local culture including the Maru-maru dance. The Maru-maru dance in the Land of Lumahlatal is slowly being eroded due to the misunderstanding of the younger generation and the lack of inheritance processes being carried out. The results show that the younger generation is more interested in popular culture than local culture which is considered to have a barrier in terms of the language used when performing this dance.

Abstract

The role of meaningful statistics is of increasing importance in today's world filled with data. Quoting the slogan of the Central Bureau of Statistics which carries the slogan "Data Educating the Nation", it is not wrong if Statistics learning is one of the important lessons in the world of education. The Statistics course itself is not only applied to exact science majors but has also been applied to Christian Religious Social majors. Statistics is a science that deals with how to analyze data, summarize and present data, analyze data with certain methods and implement the results of the analysis. Therefore, Statistics is a compulsory subject in almost all departement in preparation for preparation with research methodology. Factors that influence the learning process that can have positive and negative impacts. Statistics learning problems in the Department of Social Religious Christianity can reduce good classroom management and change the mindset of students and study habits. Both lecturers and students are able to show their best performance so that the learning process can run well so that it has an impact on the learning outcomes obtained. Among the solutions of the teacher is the presence of increased professionalism of educators that includes personal competence, pedagogical competence, professional competence and social competence.

Abstract

Death is the final stage of life. death can come suddenly without warning or follow a long period of illness. Sometimes death strikes the young but always awaits the old. Assistance to patients who will die must still be done. Comprehensive care for the dying person rarely demands more than careful symptom management and attention to the basic physical needs of the patient as a person and as a family. In addition to addressing symptom management, palliative care and hospice interventions can be aimed at helping a person achieve feelings of well-being in the social and interpersonal dimensions, to build or deepen feelings of meaning and discover their own unique feelings in the meaning of life. The most basic thing is, the companion can serve in a way that is fully present. Perhaps we have no more answers to existential questions about life and death than do people who are dying. Maybe we can't reduce all the feelings of regret and fear facing ignorance. However, it is not our job to answer all these problems. The main task of a caretaker is to stand by the patient, continuously providing the necessary physical and psychosocial assistance, while the patient himself struggles to find answers.

Abstract

To be treated fairly and rightly, which is humane and humanist, is everyone's dream, including students at school. This statement is not an empty issue that has no meaning, but empirical facts that occur in every reality of human life, including students in their educational environment. The first person responsible for the dehumanistic reality of injustice for students in schools is the leader, whether the teacher in the class, or the principal as the leader where he studies. One leadership pattern that can be used is Christian leadership that is just and liberating. To study and analyze, the method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The result obtained is that liberation from a sense of injustice for a student can be overcome by the leadership of a Christian leader who has an exemplary spirit to serve and help students from helplessness and weakness and freeing them. students to get back their lost human rights, namely the right to be treated fairly and properly at the school where they study.

Abstract

Writing is a difficult activity for second language learners. Many students in senior high school are struggling with the subject of English especially when it deals with writing in English. The learners who have little experience in writing will stuck in conveying their ideas. So, the students feel confused when the teacher asked them to write. This paper discusses the advantages and disadvantages of Think-Pair Share and Jigsaw in teaching writing skill. There are some disadvantages of using TPS. TPS can improve attendance and also reduce dropout rates. On the other hand, the use of TPS is time consuming. It also can be very noisy because the students work in group. In addition, jigsaw tehcnique proposes some advantages and disadvantages as well. It can develop cooperative behavior, establishing a better relationship among the students, develop academic skills of students, and students are able to learn more from their friends. Meanwhile, disadvantges of this technique are the speaker usually dominated by smart students and some students cannot accept the other students from different groups because usually students just want to be with their close friend.

Abstract

Expressive worship as a form of creative worship gives more room for congregants to be able to express feelings or emotions more as a form of expression of faith in worship. The use of expressive worship is still relatively new as a form of liturgical worship within the Protestan churches in the city of Palangka Raya. The purpose of this study is to explain the use of expressive worship and its impact on Sunday worship in the GKE of the Sakatik Congregation - Palangka Raya. Expressive worship in the Protestant church in this study that is used as an example is the GKE Sakatik, expressive liturgy arranged and held to try to be a more interesting and lively liturgy by encouraging congregations to be able to accentuate their expressions compared to regular worship. The liturgical liturgy is almost the same but what distinguishes it is the liturgical form which is not absolutely fixed looking at the liturgical arrangements that have been provided, the selection of songs that are adapted to developments, and the use of band music to accompany worship. In expressive worship the congregation praises and glorifies the name of God with various forms of expression, such as when praising God there are those who raise their hands, some who clap, some dance, some jump, and so on.

Abstract

This paper aims to explore the relationship between the presence of Western nations, especially since the Company era (VOC) to the Dutch East Indies colonialism with the development of education and Christianity in Amboina (Ambon) in the period 1607-1864. Through the historical method to parse and analyze every event in the dimensions of space and time using historical research principles, the historical method has stages from heuristics, verification (criticism), interpretation to historiography. Various efforts were made to improve the condition of education in Amboina, including by utilizing pastors as well as becoming a schoolmeester. Through education, the Company wanted to replace the existing religion. Thus, this education policy is a mixture of religious interests and political economy. The presence of Zending in this case also advances education in Amboina, various ways are continuously carried out to improve the state of education and Christianity and to meet skilled indigenous educators who are willing to be placed anywhere by the government. By conducting blusukan and establishing schools and institutes to formulate curricula, education for natives can be a driving force for establishing Christianity in Amboina. In view of its development, education is a way of Christianity which is the embodiment of Culus Region Eius Religio.

This article would like to provide some notes regarding the text and melody of congregational song which should be paid attention to by congregational song composers.
