Abstract

Mining activities have the potential for contamination in the form of acid mine drainage. Prevention of acid mine drainage (AAT) can be carried out by covering materials that have the potential to form AAT (Potentially Acid Forming / PAF) using non-potential (Non Acid Forming / NAF) materials. So that it can stop or reduce the contact between sulfide minerals with air and / or water. However, the presence of NAF material is often not found in large quantities to be able to isolate all PAF materials. Therefore, another material is needed as an alternative in preventing AAT formation. One of the materials that has the potential to be used is bottom ash which is the result of burning coal at the PLTU. A study was conducted with samples of volcanic breccias which are PAF rocks and volcanic breccias mixed with bottom ash material using the Leach Column Test (LCT) method. LCT test results obtained varying pH values and dissolved metal ions. In volcanic breccias, the pH value fluctuates in the range of 2.3-0.8 with high dissolved metals. Meanwhile, volcanic breccias mixed with bottom ash obtained pH values that were retained between 3.57-3.56 with low dissolved metal concentrations. The test results show that the addition of 30% bottom ash can increase the pH value and decrease the dissolved metal concentration in volcanic breccia. The addition of bottom ash material can increase the pH of volcanic breccias but is not able to neutralize the acidity of volcanic breccias.

Abstract

The research was conducted at PT. Sumatra Pembangkit Mandiri, which is engaged in hydropower. The road is one of the factors that greatly influence this research. Piled material hauling activities are influenced by the geometry of the road. The road geometry includes straight road width, bends, road grade and super elevation. Based on the actual calculation, the production is 124.56 LCM/hour. After doing theoretical calculations, the production is 209 LCM/hour. From the results of the analysis of the road geometry obtained with a distance of 500 m, the road segment is divided into 12 segments, which consist of 8 straight roads and 4 curved roads. The actual straight road width in the field starts from 5-6 meters while the minimum road width is 7 meters, in segments A-B to L-M it is necessary to widen the road. The actual width of the bend road starts from 6-7 meters, while the minimum road width of the bend is 8 meters, the C-D, E-F, H-I and J-K segments do not meet the minimum road conditions, so it is necessary to widen the bend road. The actual road grade ranges from 1.4-20.6%, while the maximum road grade is 8%, the E-F to L-M road grade segments must be repaired because they exceed the maximum road grade. The actual superelevation ranges from 1.4-1.05, while the minimum superelevation is 1.01 meters, the E-F and K-L segments require additional superelevation height because it is less than the maximum superelevation value.Based on field analysis using actual road geometry data, the cycle time obtained is 1415 seconds, and the theoretical cycle time is 841.5. Then the calculation of production per/hour using the cycle time value is obtained, the actual production obtained is 124.56 LCM/hour while the production using the theoretical obtained is 209.45 LCM/hour.

Abstract

Pangururam is one of the sub-districts of Samosir District. Tourism in Panguruland and Lake Toba is very good. Tourism development is needed to support visitors to Samosir Island. One of them is to develop tourism through the construction of Pangululan tourist resort. How to use the Toba Batak Architectural Transformation theme using the theme. This can also be used to maintain sustainability or introduce tourists to the Toba Batak area The theme of the Pangurulan Tourist Resort architecture is "Transformation" by Toba Batak Architects. With this resort, maintaining the form of traditional Batak buildings or introducing them to tourists could be a solution. Through this resort you can also be introduced to typical Toba Batak dishes. Pangululan Tourist Resort is a tourist resort that does not eliminate the traditional characteristics of Toba Batak and adopts the theme of Toba Batak architectural renovation. With the presence of this resort, it is also expected to boost the economic development of the Pangululam region.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know the application of occupational safety health (K3), to know the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) as an effort to prevent accidents due to welding work at the bottom of the oil collection tank. application of the Risk Control Hierarchy According to Iso 45001 in the process of welding the bottom of the oil collection tank. In this study, the survey method was used. Then analyzed descriptively aims to describe the nature of a situation. The results of the research on welding the bottom of the pertamina oil collection tank at SP OGAN FIELD EP ASSET 2 have been implemented as written in the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). The application of Job Safety Analysis (JSA) in the tank bottom welding process has been applied by workers by wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Welding work on the bottom of the oil collection tank has been carried out based on the Risk Control Hierarchy according to Iso 45001, namely, providing training to workers, conducting regular equipment inspections, wearing personal protective equipment and minimizing and even eliminating hazards that can occur when welding work is done.

Abstract

Agriculture and fisheries owned in Deli Serdang are potential natural resources which must also be preserved and developed. So the selection of the Mina Padi Agrotourism design is a solution that can increase this potential. Simultaneous use of land for planting rice and raising fish for educational and recreational functions. Deli Serdang in 2023 is now a strategic area. Starting from adequate land to achievements that are easy to reach. Deli Serdang is even though in terms of transportation it is very easy to access. Starting from the residents of downtown Medan which can indeed be reached via the Kuala Namu Airport toll road and the Lubuk Pakam City Toll Road. Not only that, the two different sides of Lubuk Pakam and Kuala Namu Airport can also be accessed from Medan city center by train. Even from the air, namely airplanes, which have the potential for residents outside the island to also visit Deli Serdang. This agrotourism can of course be well known and developed by implementing bioclimatic architecture that takes into account the surrounding environment to provide long-term impacts for buildings in planning. So this can be a good complex idea.

Abstract

To meet consumer demand which often sells out and to maintain public trust in Sushi Tei, Sushi Tei needs to maintain the quality of its food, and the food must always be fresh. Therefore, the author conducted research on supplies at the Sushi Tei restaurant and saw a problem that the food ordered was sometimes sold out. So in this final assignment the researcher conducted research to solve the problems that occurred at the Sushi Tei restaurant. To solve this problem, researchers used the MRP (Master Requirement Planning) method. The results obtained from the research include, the average forecast demand for the Jumbo Dragon Roll menu at the Tei Teuku Daud Sushi Restaurant in the period May 2023 to April 2024 is 342 portions / month. The amount of raw material supplies per month that must be provided to meet demand for Jumbo Dragon Roll during the period May 2023 to April 2024 is: inari rice 17,067 grams/month, seaweed 342 pieces/month, tempura shrimp 683/month, eel 10,240 grams /month, crabstick 1,767 sticks/month, Japanese cucumber 86 sticks/month, avocado 86 pieces/month, fish eggs 6,827 grams/month, mayonnaise sauce 17,067 grams/month.

Abstract

Construction aggregates are generally rocks resulting from the mining process. Rock undergoes a size reduction process using rock crushing equipment called a crusher. The process of reducing its size is carried out in stages, starting from primary crushing, additional crushing (secondary crushing) and final crushing (thertiary crushing). The final stage of crushing is usually carried out using a cone crusher because it only reduces the size without crushing (Fuerstenau et all, 2009). This research was conducted at CV. Tapian Nauli Malau, Dusun Tappe-Tappe, Simpang Bage Village, Pamatang Silimahuta District, Simalungun Regency. The formulation of the problem in this research is what are the characteristics of the output product of tertiary crushing (cone crusher), what is its circularity and aspect ratio, and what is the impact of the process on grain size. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics of the tertiary crushing (cone-crusher) output product, aspect ratio, circularity and the impact of the process on grain size. The method used in this research is comparative analysis. The results of the study found that the average fragment size of the output cone crusher was 3.62 cm. But in the primary 19.00 cm, secondary 8.30 cm, and input cone crusher 6.00 cm. The shape of the cone crusher output fragment is angular (1.46), with low roundness (0.60). However, the primary output is 1.48 and the secondary is 1.47. The reduction ratio of cone crusher is 1.5. However, the reduction ratio for primary crushing is 4 and for secondary crushing is 2. The impact of the process on grain size at the output of a cone crusher that relies on scouring is that it does not change the shape of the fragments, they remain angular, including the degree of roundness.

Abstract

Bara Tabang is a company operating in the mining sector which is located in Pondok Pumpkin Village, Tabang District, Kutai Kartanegara Regency, East Kalimantan Province. The mining system used by PT. Bara Tabang is an open mining system (Surface Mining). Coal loading activities on the stockchrome (Coalpad) are carried out using a combination of Komatsu 900 wheel loader and Komatsu 800 wheel loader. This research aims to optimize production so that production that is not achieved can be achieved in the following year. In carrying out this research, the method used was the time barrier reduction method. Where in this method the author collects data by carrying out direct activities in the field, or data obtained from companies and others deemed necessary. In this research, theory and field data are combined to obtain a problem solving approach. With improvements in avoidable obstacle times, work efficiency has increased for the previous 900 wheel loader from 72.26% to 83.13%, while for the previous 800 wheel loader it was 73.47% to 84.41%. In carrying out mining activities, the production target for loading 900 wheel loaders and 800 weheel loaders is 4,000,000 MT/month. Achieving productivity in October with the number of tools working 6 units of Wheel loader 800 resulted in production results of 1,704,121 M/T/month, 3 units of Wheel loader 900 obtained production results of 2,595,542 M/T/month. So for 9 wheel loader units working, the production output was 4,299,663 M/T/month. This was done by improving work time constraints thereby increasing the work efficiency of the equipment by 10%.. Meanwhile, the comparison is based on calculations using the Talpac application for 3 900 wheel loader units of 1,893,600 M/T/month and for 6 800 wheel loader units of 2,883,600 M/T/month. So for 9 wheel loader units working the production output is 4,777,200 M/T/month

Abstract

Pemukiman nelayan menjadi salah satu fokus pembangunan di Indonesia, permukiman nelayan merupakan daerah yang banyak di tempati oleh para nelayan dan pemukiman ini juga menjadi salah satu aspek terpenting bagi daerah pesisir yang ada di Indonesia, di Kota Medan terdapat permukima Nelayan salah satunya yaitu di Kecamatan Medan Belawan. Tepatnya di Kelurahan Bagan Deli.Permukiman Nelayan yang terdapat di Kelurahan Bagan Deli menghadap langsung ke Laut dengan mengikuti pola garis pantai atau terdistribusi linear sepanjang garis pantai. Kondisi Sarana Prasarana Pemukiman Nelayan di Kelurahan Bagan Deli ini sudah sesuai dengan standart Permukiman Nelayan pada umumnya hanya saja kondisi dari sarana prasarana tersebut tidak baik bahkan cenderung tidak sesuai dengan standart. Maka dari itu penulis bertujuan untuk mengidientifikasi tingkat ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana dasar di permukiman nelayan di Kelurahan Bagan Deli dan menganalisis kebutuhan sarana dan prasarana dasar permukiman nelayan di Kelurahan Bagan Deli mengacu pada SPM (Standart Pelayanan Minimal). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa analisis skoring dan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Adapun untuk hasil dari penelitian ini berupa tingkat ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana permukiman nelayan dan jumlah kebutuhan sarana dan prasarana permukiman nelayan di Kelurahan Bagan Deli.

Abstract

Nowadays, many companies calculate the costs that occur in a production process. But it is very rare for companies to calculate when a company will return on capital and when a company will experience a loss or profit. The purpose of calculating the Break Even Point (BEP) is to find out how many units are needed to return on capital or how much turnover must be achieved so that the company returns on capital. Data processing is carried out using the Break Even Point calculation method by collecting data in the form of fixed cost data and variable cost data for a production process. From the results of data processing, it is obtained that BEP = 994 units with a price of IDR 278,174,937. The company makes a profit if sales are above the BEP and conversely makes a loss if it is below the BEP.
