Abstract

This research aims to enhance visibility, attract potential customers' attention, and expand market share through digital platforms. The introduction of this mentoring activity encompasses the creation of high-quality MSME product photos, product photography training, and editing using Canva to promote MSME products. The methods employed in executing these activities include socialization and training methods for MSME business practitioners. KKN students provide foundational training in capturing good product photos and assist in enhancing the photo outcomes through basic editing using Canva. Furthermore, evaluations and follow-ups are also conducted to ensure the success of these mentoring activities. The anticipated outcomes include an increase in MSME product sales in the Nanggalan Hamlet, Babadan Village, Paron, Ngawi, heightened community awareness regarding local MSMEs, as well as an improvement in the skills and knowledge of MSME business practitioners in marketing strategies product marketed online. Additionally, this activity can also foster better relationships between micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) entrepreneurs and the community, thereby creating a healthier and more productive business environment.

Abstract

Protection of children who are in conflict with the law in the juvenile criminal justice process at every stage starting from investigation, prosecution and trial to juvenile correctional institutions has not been able to provide protection that can provide a sense of justice for children and even children's rights are often neglected. So far, children are often positioned as objects and tend to harm children. In child cases, sometimes children are perpetrators, victims and witnesses, so they need serious protection and handling to anticipate this so that it does not have a wider impact and harm children, such as in the cases of Mario Dandi and Agnes. The handling of child cases must be carried out by officials who really understand children's problems. In Law Number 11 of 2012 concerning the Juvenile Criminal Justice System. Protection of children in conflict with the law is progressing with a paradigm shift in handling cases of children in conflict with the law, the process of resolving child cases can not only be resolved through the judicial process but can also be resolved outside the judicial process through diversion with a restorative justice approach involving all both the perpetrators, victims and witnesses with other related parties to sit together to find solutions for resolving child cases in the best interest of the child.

Abstract

The Darul Hikmah Al Hasani Foundation is an elementary Islamic school foundation in Malang City that has an educational tourism learning program about the world of fish. This learning program was stopped due to capital and operational cost constraints. The Malang State University Community Service Team provided a solution in the form of a smart biofloc pond system as another source of income generating for partners which can also be a learning medium for students. The main solution in the smart biofloc pond system is solar cell technology as an alternative energy source for generating electricity to drive water flow so that more oxygen is obtained. This system was chosen because of its various advantages, including greater harvest yields and environmental friendliness due to the optimal use of existing resources in the environment.

Abstract

Climate change and limited conventional energy resources have pushed to utilize renewable energy. One of them is the development of household-scale biogas technology from organic waste. This Community Service Study (PKM) aims to document and analyze the socialization process of household-scale biogas applications in Lasah Village, Karangploso District, Kab. Poor. The activities carried out are, socialization about the benefits of biogas, the production process, and the operation of the system. Community involvement from the planning stage to implementation. The impact of socialization is assessed through surveys, interviews and observations of community participation and understanding. The study results show an increase in public understanding of the benefits of using biogas and a positive response to socialization and public interest in adopting this technology. It can be concluded that the socialization of the use of biogas technology on a household scale has been well received. Collaboration between researchers and the community can overcome communication barriers and provide practical guidance on the implementation of biogas technology. Although there is still a way forward in terms of system maintenance and management, this initial step provides a strong foundation for further development. It is hoped that this study will provide valuable insights for similar efforts in other areas, as well as encourage the implementation of sustainable technology for a brighter future.

Abstract

The problems faced by MA and MTs Alif Laam Miim in facing the merdeka curriculum are teachers' lack of understanding regarding the implementation of the merdeka curriculum, minimal training that teachers have participated in directly in creating teaching modules, and not having an ideal science learning KIT. This makes learning activities run less effectively. The solution offered by UM service team is to hold a workshop on developing learning modules and KITs for teachers at MA and MTs Alif Laam Miim, especially in science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology). The results of this workshop show an increase in teachers' understanding of how to develop modules and also the availability of learning KITs that are following the merdeka curriculum.

Abstract

The Capital City of Indonesia will be moved from Jakarta to Penajam Paser Utara, East Kalimantan. Balikpapan, as the nearest big city from Penajam Paser Utara, has a huge potential in the development of science and technology in the future. However, achieving greater potential requires dedication, effort and hard work. Through this community service activity, it is expected that the enthusiasm of the young generation, especially high school students, related to the world of science (Physics) will increase. In this activity, the community engagement team provides a training regarding problem solving to physics olympaid question. Lecturing (material enrichment) and group discussion (answering examples of Physics Olympiad questions) methods were used in this activity. The result shows that the students’ ability in problem solving skill increased. It can be seen from the pre-test and post-test scores. Furthermore, one of the trained students won the competition in city level, Balikpapan City, and had a chance to join the competition in province level. Based on the result, Balikpapan's young generation has an enermous potential to develop science and technology. Hopefully, in the future this activity can be held in a wider and sustainable scope.

Abstract

Curahsawo Village, located in Gending Subdistrict, Probolinggo Regency, is famous for its marine products, making it one of the areas producing shellfish, especially mussels. In addition to providing economic value, the clam industry also produces waste in the form of discarded shells. The accumulation of shell waste in residential areas has become an environmental problem and impacted the local landscape. Although some shells are used for crafts, the demand is low. As a result, the accumulation of shell waste has increased, posing a threat to the environment. To address this issue, the implementation of the KKN program, Pancamarga University students will take a participatory approach by actively involving the Curahsawo Village community in every stage of the program. The first step will involve counseling on the importance of waste management and the benefits of clam shells as organic fertilizer. This program will not only raise community awareness about the environment but also help reduce the adverse impact of clam shell waste on the surrounding environment. In addition, making clam shell POC is relatively easy and does not require much cost. The production of this organic fertilizer is relatively simple, the raw materials needed for its production are quite easy to obtain, and the production cost is relatively cheap.
