This study aims to examine the controversy of usury and bank interest through the search for various hadith about usury. This research is a library search with a descriptive qualitative approach. The data in this study are secondary data obtained from various journals and research related to the discussion. The results showed that in addition to the Qur'an the prohibition of usury has also been widely narrated in various sahih hadith. Related to usury and bank interest, there are still pros and cons between scholars because of differences in the basis and understanding of interpreting the proposition. But in essence, the prohibition of usury is very clear even though the addition is only a little bit.

This type of research is case study research with multi-site studies at MTs Assalam Bangilan Tuban and MTs Islamiyah Banat Senori Tuban. The research used a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out using interview techniques, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques use a pragmatic point of view. The research subjects were all elements in the two schools, especially those related to the problems of improving the quality of education. Among them are the lack of teacher motivation, the lack of facilities and infrastructure and the lack of quality human resources, especially in the IT field. Among the efforts to overcome problems to improve the quality of education in MTs Assalam Bangilan Tuban and MTs Islamiyah Senori Tuban is to provide stabilization and work evaluation once a month to all educators. For the lack of facilities and infrastructure, the madrasah asked for help from the surrounding community, especially the santri's guardians to help procure the building. In addition, it can also be done by empowering madrasah alumni who are considered capable and able from each generation. As for the lack of quality human resources, it is overcome by holding special training in the IT field for the staff concerned.

Abstract

The phenomenon of buying and selling online continues to grow, especially in 2022, when Ghozali shocked the Indonesian people by selling 933 non-fungible token digital works for $1.5 billion on the OpenSea Online Market. But not all people respond, because everyone can sell other people's art, sell images that contain pornography, and commit fraud under the guise of investment. In Sharia economic law, on the other hand, the element of fraud and the sale of something that does not belong to him are prohibited. The mechanism of buying and selling non-fungible tokens on the OpenSea online market is discussed in this study, as well as how the law is based on Islamic economics. This type of research uses a qualitative approach by seeking direct data from parties involved in buying and selling non-fungible tokens on the Opensea online marketplaces, from journals, articles, books, and other sources. The theory of "al-mal" and "al-bai' is used to analyze this research using a qualitative deductive method. The results of the research show three mechanisms in the practice of buying and selling non-fungible tokens on the Opensea online marketplace, which include the creation, sale, and purchase of digital artwork, and most of them are carried out on the Ethereum and Polygon blockchain platforms. According to sharia economic law, when buying and selling non-fungible tokens on the Opensea online market is analyzed using the mall theory, the majority of Ulama argue that non-fungible tokens can be classified as malls, while some groups of followers of Imam Hanafi do not justify non-fungible tokens as malls because of their non-concrete nature. Meanwhile, if it is captured using the "bai' theory, the practice of buying and selling non-fungible tokens is not covered by sharia because, in practice, people can easily sell other people's digital artwork, sell images that contain pornographic elements, and are very vulnerable to involvement in non-fungible token sale scams such as forgery of digital artwork descriptions and investment scams. As for those who can avoid all these negative elements, then they are returned to the original law of bai', namely mubah.

Abstract

The three main components in the contemporary education system are educational goals, educators, and students. Although these three components have almost similar characteristics in the sufistic education system, there are substantive differences. The goals of sufistic education are tazkiyat al-nafs (purify the soul), tahdzib al-akhlak (diciplining morals), and al-ma'rifah (knowing of God). These goals are achieved through a learning process that is guided directly by a teacher who is called a murshid or sheikh. A teacher is an ideal figure with a competence of spiritual experience and clear transmit knowledge (sanad). The teacher also has a central role in the Sufistic education system. A teacher will guide a student (salik) with a pattern of interaction that seems undemocratic and leads to the cult of the individual teacher. However, it is done as a form of ethical interaction between a student and a teacher. The student has to carry out some strict ethical rules and heavy obligations from the teacher in order to shape the character of students and so that students reach their goals. Basically, a teacher knows the capacity of his students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the concept of currency in the Qur?an. It is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The method used is Maudhu'i, by collecting verses based on similar khitab. Regarding currency, The Qur?an focuses on the nomenclature of the dinar (made of gold) and dirham (made of silver). Throughout the development of Islamic economics and finance, Ulama looked into the concept of currency mainly in its functions as (1) payment instruments, (2) asset measurement value, and (3) economic flow. Due to the characteristics of the dinar and dirham mediums that cannot be applied in the modern monetary system, the currency currently in use is the currency with a medium that is seen as practically viable by the government. The dinar and dirham cannot be used because of (1) the high exchange rate of gold and silver against various goods, (2) the availability of gold and silver declines over time and cannot meet the demand for currency, and (3) gold and silver are not easily portable. Therefore, the characteristics of any agreed medium for issuing currency will remain relevant from the point of view of Islamic economics and finance. The Qur'an only provides dinar or dirham as an example of currency, the main essence of which is that the Qur'an provides provisions on how to manage currency in terms of rights and obligations as well as its relation to religious goals.

Abstract

Acts of sexual harassment against women are referred to as sexual harassment, regardless of whether the victim and perpetrator had sexual intercourse or not. Islamic boarding schools have the second highest rate of sexual violence after universities, even though universities and Islamic boarding schools play an important role in the development of individual character and identity. These locations are still considered unsafe for women and children, as evidenced by sexual harassment. Islamic boarding schools and universities that should be places for people to study have turned into places where teachers, administrators, and even ustadz can get what they want. These individuals usually rely on religious doctrine or even be lured by financial content to obtain various educational guarantees, such as being given high marks or questions that have been leaked. This research examines cases of sexual harassment that occurred in Islamic boarding schools and universities, provides an overview of the steps taken to address and prevent such incidents, and evaluates the extent to which these steps have been successful. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method, which aims to accurately and methodically describe the facts and characteristics of a population or a particular field. It is hoped that this research will be able to describe various problems related to sexual harassment faced by female students and students at universities or Islamic boarding schools. Sexuality education and awareness must be implemented immediately. This is a key reason for a deeper look into demonstrations of sexual brutality and how to protect oneself from sexual violence and perspectives on managing sexual violence. All stakeholders, including students, teachers, education staff, and the campus community, must participate in this introduction.
