Abstract

Marriage is a sacred bond. However, currently, there are still many marriages carried out by underage couples (early marriage). Early marriage has more negative impacts on the psychology of the couple or the affected child, one of which is deciding to choose child-free. Some of the reasons for childfree include medical conditions in the form of disorders or diseases, satisfying professions, and ecological reasons behind the decision of a husband and wife not to have children. The relationship between couples must complement each other, understand each other, and should not feel that their roles are at a higher level between the two. Thus, both must obtain their rights to enjoy an intimate bond (sexual relations). The recommendation to reproduce must be accompanied by full awareness of the responsibility as parents, as stated in the word of Allah SWT in QS Al-Baqarah verse 187. Most Islamic scholars think that children are not the right of the husband or wife alone because children are a shared right between couples. Therefore, to conceive, couples must consider it. Childless couples must take into account various dangers and protect themselves from unexpected events because it eliminates the general assumption of women and abuses the law because it does not match the standards of Islamic Law/Indonesian Sharia Law. The social aspect of having children is essential because we cannot live alone.

Abstract

In several countries where most of the population is Muslim, there has been heated discussion about the conflict between Mainstream Islam and the Ahmadiyah group. Many conflicts between the two occur as a result of different opinions and views regarding Islamic teachings. The Ahmadiyah group is often considered a deviant Islamic group. This conflict has been discussed by Gionopulos & Mitchel/Axel Honeth. The discussion contained conflict resolution between Mainstream Islam and the Ahmadiyah group. The difference of opinion between the Mainstream Islamic group and the Ahmadiyah group began with the difference in the views of the Ahmadiyah group who considered that the Prophet Muhammad was not the last prophet. As a result of this opinion, the Ahmadiyah group has received a lot of discrimination and persecution in various countries, for example Pakistan, Indonesia, and Bangladesh. Even so, the number of followers of the Ahmadiyah group is very large because Ahmadiyah has succeeded in building a positive image in society. Apart from that, Ahmadiyah also has strong beliefs about peace, love, and tolerance. The movement of the Ahmadiyah group spreads Islam peacefully, but they have the belief that there is a prophet after the Prophet Muhammad, named Ahmad. There have been many restrictions on Ahmadiyah activities in Indonesia. Ahmadiyah itself arrived in Indonesia in 1923. This article focuses on the Ahmadiyah group in Kudus because in this area Ahmadiyah received a positive response from the community. Currently the government of Kudus City is monitoring the Ahmadiyah group in the area. Ahmadiyah in Kudus has a conflict resolution strategy by providing an understanding that their group is not heretical.

As the nation with the biggest Muslim population in the world, Indonesia places a high priority on Islamic religious education. However, the implementation of Islamic religious education in Indonesia still faces many obstacles in this millennial era. Reform of Islamic religious education in Indonesia needs to be implemented. At the beginning of the 20th century, ideas for the renewal or reform of Islamic education emerged in Indonesia. Abstract

This study examines the implementation of land and building tax owned by deceased people, which is charged to the heirs. The purpose of this study is to determine and describe the imposition of tax on deceased people and the responsibility of their heirs according to the perspective of Sharia Economic Law. This study is a field research. Data collection techniques include observation, in-depth interviews, Forum Group Discussion, and content analysis. The theories used are the theories of Dharibah. The study results show that the problem of implementing a tax on deceased people in Sukorejo village according to The Regional Revenue Agency is caused by data that has not been updated. This can be resolved by updating and recording the latest data so that taxpayers for deceased people no longer appear as bills that must be borne by the new taxpayer (heir). According to the review of Sharia Economic Law, this case falls under the discussion of Dharibah, where the implementation of tax collection by the state can be justified as long as there is no element of oppression, and the state is in need.

Abstract

Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) is the largest Islamic organisation in Indonesia, founded in 1926 in Surabaya. Speaking about NU inevitably recalls K.H. Hasyim Asy’ari as the first Rais Am, yet the establishment of NU cannot be separated from the pivotal role of Kiai Wahab Hasbullah. His brilliant ideas were instrumental in NU’s birth, earning acceptance across diverse groups—traditionalists, modernists, and even communists. Wahab Hasbullah was deeply committed to preserving religious traditions while addressing Indonesia’s pressing social issues, including colonial oppression and widespread educational backwardness. His dedication manifested in a spirit of struggle that inspired social change and raised national awareness. In modern Indonesian history, few ulama were as controversial yet influential as Wahab Hasbullah. Across decades of Islamic discourse, his actions often stirred strong emotions. He emerged as a dynamic leader for traditionalist Muslims, guiding them through times of crisis with vision and courage. This study applies a qualitative case study approach supported by literature review. Data sources include key informants, historical documents, books, and both national and international journals relevant to the subject. The analysis uses content analysis techniques to interpret Wahab Hasbullah’s ideas, examining them critically within broader religious and socio-political contexts. The research concludes that Wahab Hasbullah resembled a trequartista in football: a strategist who not only knew when to defend or attack but also mastered off-the-ball movements. Like a trequartista reading the opponent’s tactics, Wahab anticipated challenges and positioned traditionalist Islam as a vital force in Indonesia’s modern history.
