Abstract

This is a research and development under some purposes, those are 1) To develop Logo Games Based for learning process on reproduction system material, 2) To know the validity of the Logo Board Games in learning process of reproduction system material. Logo Board Games is a media which is used to create an enjoyable learning situation and to support the achievement of learning objectives including the aspect of cognition, affection, and psychomotor. It is a research and development to produce a learning media “Logo Board Games” as the product which is expected to be used in encouraging the learning process. This research refers to 4-D learning model including four steps: defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. The research instruments utilized in this research was validation sheet to obtain the validity of the product, and questionnaire to know the response of the teachers and the students related to the effectiveness of the product. Based on the evaluation of the validator, it could be concluded that the validity of the Logo Board Games on reproduction system material could be categorized into high validity with the average grade 3,6 (3,5 ≤ V ≤ 4).

Abstract

This study is intended to know the effect of the cooperative setting interactive learning model (PISK) on the Biology learning outcomes of students. This quasi-experimental research has a non-equivalent posttest-only control group design. The population is class X MIPA SMA Negeri 2 Bone as many as 210 students. The sampling technique used is a purposive sampling technique. The sample is 50 people consisting of two classes, namely class X MIPA 2 as an experiment using the PISK model as many as 25 students and class X MIPA 1 as a control class totaling 25 students. The research instruments were in the form of learning outcomes tests and observation sheets. Data analysis techniques are descriptive analysis and inferential analysis using prerequisite tests and independent sample t-test. The data obtained from learning outcomes in the experimental class were in the high category with an average value of 79. Meanwhile, the control class obtained an average value of 75.20 with a high category. Hypothesis testing showed differences in learning outcomes taught with the PISK model and with the lecture method. The effectiveness test shows that learning using the PISK model is more effective than direct learning.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a valid encyclopedia textbook based on local potential on Invertebrate sub-material which is valid, which can be used as a reference for students in the Class X MIA Invertebrate sub-material. The encyclopedia developed is in the form of a textbook that discusses Invertebrate material combined with local potential in Takalar Regency in the form of the sea, the pictures in the encyclopedia developed are original images obtained from the results of Bioecological sampling using the LIT (Line Intercept Transcet) technique. This type of research is a type 4-D development research developed by S Thiagarajan, Dorothy S, Semmel, and Melvyn I Semmel, this type of development consists of 4 stages, the first stage is Define, the second stage is design, the third stage development, and the fourth stage of dissemination, but the research carried out by researchers only reached the validation level development stage, because the Covid-19 pandemic situation did not allow researchers to carry out trials and the deployment stage in the field.

Abstract

This study determined the comparison of student learning outcomes between the application of the Reading Concept Map Cooperative Script (ReMap-CS) learning model and the Reading Concept Map Timed Pair Share (ReMap-TmPS). This type of study was quasi-experimental using the pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design. The research population is all students of class XI IPA SMAN 2 Gowa as many as 323 students. The research sample consisted of 24 students of class XI IPA 6 and 24 students of class XI IPA 7 selected by the purposive sampling technique. The learning outcomes research instruments were learning outcomes tests in the form of questions and assignments regarding the excretory system material used to measure student competency achievement. The data analysis technique used was descriptive data analysis and inferential data analysis. The results showed that the average student learning outcomes using the ReMap-CS learning model were 83,33 while the ReMap-TmPS learning model was 78,33. The t-test results show that the sig (2-tailed) value is 0,008. Results indicate that the sig. (2-tailed) value <0.05, which means a significant difference between learning outcomes in both the experimental class 1 and the experimental class 2, where experimental class 1 using Remap-CS is better than experiment 2 using ReMap-TmPs

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the validity of the engklek game media on the material organization system of life for class VII SMP Guppi Samata. This study uses research and development methods with a 4D development model, namely definition, design, development, and dissemination. However, product trials to test practicality and effectiveness were not carried out due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The product is validated by 2 experts. The results of the validity analysis show that the engklek game media material for the life organization system developed has a validity level based on the assessment of experts, which is 3.23 and is included in the valid category so it is feasible to use. This research implies that the engklek game media deserves to be used as a learning medium, especially in the material of life organization systems, to further researchers, it should be able to produce better learning media products

Abstract

Students' learning motivation is the driving force they have and provides energy to carry out learning activities so that the continuity of learning can be directed and the desired goals can be realized. The purpose of this study was to describe the learning motivation of students in class XI IPA SMAN in the Sinjai Regency. This type of research is a descriptive survey with a population of 1267 students and a sample of 616 students taken by cluster random sampling technique. The instrument used is a student learning motivation questionnaire that has met the valid and reliable criteria with the measured aspects being diligent in facing tasks, tenacious in facing difficulties, showing interest, and being able to defend their opinions. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis. The results of this study indicate that the learning motivation of students in class XI IPA SMAN in the Sinjai Regency there are 179 (29.1%) students in the medium category and 437 (70.9%) students in the high category. The results of the analysis indicate that the dominant learning motivation of students is in the high category which is certainly influenced by many factors.
