Abstract

Surgery or operations are all medical procedures using invasive procedures, with the stages of opening or exposing the part of the body being treated. Surgery is performed to diagnose or treat an illness, disability or injury, as well as treat conditions that cannot be cured with simple procedures or medication (Poter, P.A. Perry. 2016). This surgery can be caused by various things, including bone fractures (fracture). A fracture is a break in the continuity of bone tissue caused by force or external pressure that is greater than the bone can absorb. Fractures experienced will have an impact on psychological and social problems. One of the problems that arises is anxiety. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between nurse assistance and spiritual services: Prayer and Tawakkal on the anxiety level of pre-closed fracture surgery patients at Meuraxa Hospital, Banda Aceh City. Research method the research design used is analytical with a Cross Sectional Study approach. The number of samples in this study was 43 respondents. The sampling technique used was accidental sampling. The research was carried out on 06 April-01 May 2021. The results showed that of the 43 respondents in the surgical room, men and women received good assistance, 2 people (4.7%), 14 people (32.6%) received adequate assistance and less assistance. as many as 27 people (62.8%), of the 43 respondents in the surgical ward, men and women experienced mild anxiety as many as 7 people (16.3%), moderate anxiety as many as 15 people (34.9%), severe anxiety as many as 21 people (48.8%). and the results of bivariate analysis show P value = 0.032 <0.05 which states that there is a relationship between nurse assistance and spiritual services: Prayer and Tawakkal on the anxiety level of pre-closed fracture surgery patients at Meuraxa Hospital, Banda Aceh City in 2021. Conclusion: there is a relationship Accompanying nurses with spiritual services: Prayer and Tawakkal with the anxiety level of pre-closed fracture surgery patients at Meuraxa Hospital, Banda Aceh City in 2021.

Abstract

Background : Lower back pain is one of the musculoskeletal disorders that often occurs and causes a decrease in work productivity and disability . Low back pain is a major cause of disability that affects work and general well-being. One way to reduce lower back pain is by giving cold compresses to cold compresses. Cold compresses can provide changes to the skin, subcutaneous tissue, kular itramus and temperature in the joints. Method : The research design used in this study was the One Group Pre-Test-Post Test Design. The independent variable is cold compress ice therapy while the dependent variable is low back pain. Sampling was done based on inclusion criteria with a sample of 30 people. Analysis of data using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Results : After being given cold compress ice therapy, low back pain which was originally severe pain dropped to moderate pain. Conclusion : There is an effect of cold compress ice therapy on changes in low back pain in patients with low back pain in the risa village work area of ​​Woha Puskesmas.

Abstract

Human resources, especially nurses, are important assets for hospitals in providing quality health services. This study aims to review the recruitment and development process of nurses and to examine the optimization of HR management at Hermina Arcamanik Hospital. The methodology used is a qualitative approach with an interview method. The results of the study indicate that the nurse recruitment process is carried out through administrative selection, written tests, interviews, and health tests. There are obstacles in (1) getting applicants who meet the qualifications. Nurse development is carried out through orientation programs, training, and seminars, but (2) is still limited in scope and budget. In HR management, problems were found related to (3) uneven workload, (4) less conducive work environment, (4) low employee performance and (5) employee health and welfare. Based on the problems above, the researcher provides the following suggestions: (1) Developing a more innovative and adaptive recruitment strategy to attract quality nurses (2) Improving continuous development and mentorship programs to support nurse career development (3) Optimizing workload management and employee welfare programs to improve retention and quality of life.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the effectiveness of the SIHA & SITB application at the Muhammadiyah Hospital in Bandung, this discussion discusses data input and the difficulty when entering patient data into the SIHA and SITB web such as the server is often down or the internet connection at the hospital is not good enough. The method used for this study, the author uses a case study approach that includes qualitative methods to evaluate the efficiency of data input in SIHA and SITB at the hospital. While the data was obtained through in-depth interviews with system users, including doctors, nurses, and administrative staff. In this study the author found problems with the SIHA and SITB application systems, namely: (1) The SITB and SITB servers are always down so that users have to wait a long time when uploading patient data (2) Internet connection is not overlooked in this case the internet connection at the Muhammadiyah Hospital is not good enough (3) The tools used to upload patient data such as laptops and computers are very inadequate, the computers and laptops used are very slow. Based on the problems that occur above, the researcher tries to provide several suggestions as follows: (1) SIHA and SITB users must always ask the IT department why the server is always down every day and SIHA and SITB must fix the system so that users no longer have to wait long when uploading patient data (2) The hospital must always maintain the internet connection, especially in this digital era, the hospital should have a better internet connection, such as increasing the internet speed (3) The tools used to upload patient data such as computers or laptops must be replaced or updated to a new version so that the effectiveness of using computers or laptops is no longer slow.

Abstract

Every hospital is required to record and report all hospital operations in the form of a hospital management information system. In addition, hospital management needs data that is reliable, accurate, timely, secure and relevant from an administrative and clinical perspective. The method used in this research is qualitative by collecting data through interviews and observations. The results of the interviews show that SIMRS has been used since 2022, previously Hospital X used a manual system, namely the VB module. The data entry process is very simple compared to before, the functions used include hospital accounts, statements and invoices. This system also provides benefits, namely by reducing time, increasing the efficiency of financial staff performance, supporting the data entry process and reducing manual work. Although it works effectively, there are obstacles such as poor connections that can prevent this system from working effectively.

Abstract

Free sex is a sexual relationship carried out by a man and a woman without a marriage bond. Efforts to prevent free sex are by getting closer to God Almighty, instilling moral and religious values from an early age, avoiding behaviors that will stimulate sexuality, and education. This study aims to determine the influence of sex education on adolescents on knowledge and attitudes about free sex behavior in SMA Negeri 5 Kendari. The type of research is quantitative with Pre Experimental using One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Of the 432 populations, 81 samples were obtained through Simple Random Sampling that met the inclusion criteria. The analysis method uses the Wilcoxson test and the Mc-Nemar test. In the results of the Wilcoxson test, the value of knowledge and attitude was obtained, namely p = 0.000 or Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted, meaning that there was a significant influence before and after counseling was given, and in the results of the Mc Nemar test, the result was obtained that the two variables had the same influence with a value of p = 0.000. From the results of this study, it was concluded that there was an influence of sex counseling on adolescents on knowledge and attitudes about free sex behavior at SMA Negeri 5 Kendari. The results of this study are expected to increase knowledge about free sex behavior and try to find out the right and responsible information.

Abstract

This research aims to build a management information system in logistics management at the hospital and also to evaluate the role of logistics information systems in supporting operations. The benefit is that it can help in overcoming the problem of delays in sending information data. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with logistics managers. Data analysis shows that the Logistics Management Information System provides significant benefits in terms of transparency, accuracy, and operational efficiency. In this study the authors found several problems, namely: (1) In using SIRS, there are still many staff who do not understand how SIRS works (2) Devices in the hospital, especially computers in the logistics area, need to be updated (3) There is no significant training for staff, this makes it difficult for staff to adapt to new things. Based on the above problems, the authors try to provide several suggestions, namely: (1) The hospital should bring in people who are able to operate SIRS to teach staff so that staff understand how to use SIRS (2) Computer devices in logistics must be replaced and updated so that they are not slow, making the use of SIRS smooth (3) Hospitals should conduct gradual training for their special staff in logistics so that those who do not understand become aware and work becomes faster and more efficient.

Abstract

In today's digital era, a system must be developed according to the needs and demands of the community, the implementation of digital systems in the field of health services has brought significant transformation in improving the accessibility and efficiency of health services. This study explores the positive impact of implementing digital technologies in health services such as online registration, electronic medical records, and health applications on health services. Quantitative research methods were used by analyzing internal hospital data, such as interviewing health care staff in using digital systems to measure the efficiency of basic health services, to find out the environmental factors on the efficiency of basic health services. The results show that the use of digital technology has enabled patients to access health services more easily, reduced waiting times, and improved care coordination. Although challenges such as data security and technology access gaps still exist, strategic measures in digital infrastructure development and improved digital literacy can overcome these barriers. This research supports the importance of continuing to encourage technological innovation in healthcare to improve the overall quality of life of the community.

Abstract

Coronary Heart Disease is a disease of the heart and blood vessels caused by narrowing of the coronary arteries. Narrowing of blood vessels occurs due to the process of atherosclerosis due to the gradual accumulation of cholesterol and connective tissue on the walls of blood vessels. There are several risk factors related to the occurrence of coronary heart disease. These risk factors are divided into modifiable risk factors and non-modifiable risk factors. The purpose of the study was to determine the characteristics of patients with coronary heart disease based on (1) History of hypertension (2) Smoking habits (3) Age Group and (4) Gender. This study was conducted on 66 patients with coronary heart disease who were hospitalized at dr. La Palaloi Maros Hospital for the period of January 2022 – December 2023. This study uses an observational descriptive method using secondary data in the form of medical records of patients with coronary heart disease who are hospitalized at dr. La Palaloi Maros Hospital. Data analysis is processed using SPSS software. The results of this study show the distribution of coronary heart disease patients who were hospitalized at dr. La Palaloi Maros Hospital for the period January 2022 to December 2023, namely: (1) The most history of hypertension was 51 patients (77.3%), (2) The most smoking history was 36 patients (54.6%), (3) The most in the risk age group was 55 patients (83.3%), (4) More in men 46 patients (69.7%) than in women 20 patients (30.3%), The conclusion of the study is that the most people with coronary heart disease have a history of hypertension, a history of smoking habits. at-risk age group, and male.

Abstract

A study has been carried out with the title Diversity of Fungus Contaminants in Peanuts sold at Tradisional Modern Market, Maros Regency, Fungus is an organism that belongs to fungi and does not have chlorophyll so it is heterotrophic. Peanuts are one of the healthiest food ingredients that are widely consumed by humans. The purpose of this research was to find out whether the peanuts sold at the Tradisional Modern Market in Maros Regency were contaminated with fungi that were still within safe limits for consumption and to find out the type of fungus in the peanuts sold at the Tradisional Modern Market in Maros Regency. In this study, five samples were taken randomly from peanut traders in Tradisional Modern Market, Maros Regency. As for the results that have been obtained from observations in this study, namely in samples of peanuts contaminated by bacteria, Aspergillus sp. and Aspergillus niger Aspergillus sp. is a producer of mycotoxins which are harmful to human and animal health, the mycotoxins produced are aflatoxins which are carcinogenic toxins found in aflatoxins usually found in food products contaminated with Aspergillus flavus mold including nuts, corn, food and dried fruit and some other products meat, Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the peanut samples sold at the Tradisional Modern Market in Maros Regency were contaminated with fungi and fungal bacteria in the peanut samples, namely Aspergillus sp. and Aspergillus niger as well as gram-positive bacteria.
