Abstract

Vocational education in Vocational High Schools (SMK) plays an important role in preparing students for the world of work. In contrast to general education, vocational education in SMK aims to develop practical skills that are in line with industry needs and provide students with a strong foundation to enter the workforce after graduation. SMKs have a strategic role in supporting a country's economic growth. Through vocational education programs, SMKs can prepare a skilled and ready-to-use workforce to meet industry needs. By combining theory and practice, vocational education in SMK can provide students with relevant skills and abilities needed in the work environment. However, vocational education in SMK also faces various challenges that need to be addressed. These challenges relate to curriculum, teaching quality, and English language teaching. This article aims to analyze and present the challenges faced in improving the curriculum to keep up with the industry. In addition, the quality of teaching is an important aspect that needs to be considered so that students can get a quality education. Furthermore, English language teaching is also the focus of this article, given the importance of English language skills in facing global challenges. In addition to discussing the challenges, this article will also propose possible solutions that can be implemented to overcome these problems. These solutions may include improving the curriculum, enhancing the quality of teaching through teacher training and professional development, as well as more effective strategies in teaching English in SMK.

Abstract

Hasil belajar yang kurang memadai terlihat pada tingkat kelas V, memotivasi penelitian ini. Akibatnya, penelitian dilakukan dengan tujuan meningkatkan hasil pendidikan. Tujuannya adalah sebagai berikut: (1) memahami RPP mempergunakan model pembelajaran PBL dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran tematik terpadu; (2) memahami cara mengimplementasikan pembelajaran PBL; dan (3) memahami bagaimana pembelajaran PBL dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran tematik terpadu. Kelas V SDN 11 Lolong Kota Padang menjadi lokasi penelitian ini. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) mencakup metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif yang digunakan di sini. Dua puluh lima orang (sebelas perempuan dan empat belas laki-laki beserta pengajarnya) dari kelas V SDN 11 Kota Padang berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Terjadi peningkatan dari rata-rata siklus I sebesar 79,16% berkualifikasi Cukup (C) menjadi rerata siklus II sebesar 94,44% berkualifikasi Amat Baik (AB). Pada siklus I, rerata elemen guru mendapat nilai 82,14 persen pada berkualifikasi Baik (B); pada siklus kedua meningkat menjadi 92,85 persen pada berkualifikasi Sangat Baik (AB). Sementara siswa pada siklus I memiliki rerata keseluruhan 80,35 persen berkualifikasi Baik (B), angka tersebut melonjak menjadi 92,85 persen berkualifikasi Amat Baik pada siklus II (AB). Dibandingkan dengan siklus pertama, siswa mencapai rerata hasil belajar C (cukup) sebesar 74,17, pada siklus kedua mengalami peningkatan dengan rerata siswa B (baik) sebesar 88,69.

Abstract

This research aims at this research there are two things. First, to describe Islamic sharia values ​​in the album, there was still time for Ebiet G.Ade. Second, to describe the implications of the album, there is still time for Ebiet G Ade to study poetry texts. This type of research is qualitative research. The method used is descriptive method. The data sources of this research are Islamic sharia values ​​related to Islamic sharia values ​​in the album still exists when Ebiet G. Ade. The research instrument used in this study was the researcher himself. Data collection technique in this research is observation technique. There are three data analysis techniques, (1) data reduction, (2) data presentation, and (3) data verification. There are two data validation techniques in this study, (1) extension of the observation period and (2) increasing accuracy in observations. The findings of the data in this study. First, the sharia value of moral science. Second, the sharia value of monotheism. Third, the sharia value of fiqh.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang tugas kepala sekolah dalam pengembangan kewirausahaan di SMK Negeri se-Kecamatan Padang Timur yang terdiri dari SMK N 2 Padang dan SMK N 6 Padang. Pertanyaan penelitian ini adalah seberapa baik persepsi guru tentang (1) perencanaan pengembangan kewirausahaan, (2) pelaksanaan pengembangan kewirausahaan, (3) evaluasi pengembangan kewirausahaan. Populasi penelitian ini adalah guru di SMK N 2 Padang dan SMK N 6 Padang yang berjumlah 161 guru. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 62 guru dengan menggunakan teknik Stratified Proportional Random Sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah model Skala Likert dengan hasil dan pengolahan datanya memuaskan. Persepsi guru tentang tugas kepala sekolah dalam pengembangan kewirausahaan di SMK Negeri se-Kecamatan Padang Timur dapat dilihat dari penjelasan berikut: (1) perencanaan pengembangan kewirausahaan memperoleh rata-rata 3,95 berada pada kategori baik, (2) pelaksanaan pengembangan kewirausahaan memperoleh rata-rata 3,92 berada pada kategori baik, (3) evaluasi pengembangan kewirausahaan memperoleh rata-rata 4,03 berada pada kategori baik. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa persepsi guru tentang tugas kepala sekolah dalam pengembangan kewirausahaan di SMK Negeri se-Kecamatan Padang Timur terlaksana dengan baik, denganrata-rata 3,96 (baik).

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kegiatan ekstrakurikuler kurang dikelola secara baik oleh pihak sekolah. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengelolaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler di MAN 2 Padang Pariaman. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pendekatan deskriptif dengan metode kualitatif. Penelitian deskkriptif ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil penelitian. Untuk teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 3 yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, verifikasi data. Hasil penelitia ini menyimpulkan sebagai berikut; (1) Pengelolaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler di MAN 2 Padang Pariaman, masih terdapat permasalahan dalam perencanaan yaitu kurangnya perencanaan sarana dan prasarana kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, kurangnya perencanaan dana BOS dan kurangnya minat siswa. (2) Pengelolaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler di MAN 2 Padang Pariaman melalui pengorganisasian kurangnya tanggung jawab tim dalam melaksanakan kegiatan ektrakurikuler di MAN 2 Padang. (3) Pengelolaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler di MAN 2 Padang Pariaman melalui pelaksanaan kurangnya sarana dan prasarana seperti pianika dan Qur’an. Kurangnya anggaran dana bos dan partisipasi dan minat siswa. (4) Pengelolaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler di MAN 2 Padang Pariaman melalui evaluasi masih kurangnya kriteria evaluasi yang jelas dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler di MAN 2 Padang Pariaman.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali informasi tentang pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter religius siswa di MAS Al-Madani Kecamatan Luhak Nan Duo Kabupaten Pasaman Barat dilihat dari sikap Toleransi, Ikhlas, Jujur, Tanggung Jawab, dan Kerjasama siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 66 siswa dengan jumlah sampel yang sama yaitu 66 siswa karena jumlah populasi kurang dari 100 siswa, maka penelitian ini disebut dengan penelitian populasi. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan angket atau kuisioner dan pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara menyebarkan angket. Data diolah dengan menggunakan rumus rata-rata (mean) Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter religius siswa di MAS Al-Madani Kecamatan Luhak Nan Duo Kabupaten Pasaman Barat dilihat dari dimensi Toleransi sudah mencapai kategori baik. Implementasi pendidikan karakter religius siswa dilihat dari dimensi Jujur sudah mencapai kategori baik. Implementasi pendidikan karakter religius siswa dilihat dari dimensi Ikhlas sudah mencapai kategori baik. Pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter religius siswa dilihat dari dimensi Tanggung Jawab sudah mencapai kategori baik. Implementasi pendidikan karakter religius siswa dilihat dari dimensi kerjasama sudah mencapai kategori baik.

Abstract

The research aims to obtain information regarding teachers perceptions of planning, implementation,assessment and feedback activities for academic supervision by school principals in stage high school in Pasaman District, Pasaman Regency. The type of research used is quantitative descriptive. The population in this study were all teachers at SMA N 1 and SMA N 2 Pasaman, namely 107 teachers and the sample was 50 teachers ( SMA N 1 ) and 57 Teachers ( SMA N 2 ) using the proportional random sampling method the instrument in this research uses a likert scale questionnaire which has been tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis used is descriptive statistical analysis method. The result of this research are 1 ) planning obtained 4,45 in the good category, 2) implementation obtained 4,56 in the good category, 3) assessment obtained 4,6 in the very good category, and 4) feedback obtained 4,31 in the good category.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how to supervise the implementation of teacher duties in State Vocational Schools throughout Solok City in terms of aspects of Learning Planning, Learning Implementation, Implementation of Learning Evaluation, and Implementation of Follow-up Programs. This research is quantitative descriptive. The research population was 242 State Vocational School Teachers in Solok City and a sample of 154 people using proportional stratified random sampling techniques. The data collection instrument was a Likert scale model questionnaire. It can be concluded that Supervision of the Implementation of Teacher Duties in State Vocational Schools throughout Solok City is in the good category with an average score of 4.21. Based on these results, the author suggests that supervision of the implementation of teacher duties at State Vocational Schools in Solok City can be maintained and needs to be improved again so that a conducive learning process is created and learning objectives can be achieved

Abstract

Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan pendekatan kecerdasan emosional guru dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Arab di MTsN 1 Tanah Laut. Selain itu juga bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan faktor-faktor pedukung dan penghambatnya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu penelitian lapangan yang bersifat deskriptif kualitatif. Lokasi yang diteliti adalah MTsN 1 Tanah Laut. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu guru Bahasa Arab di MTsN 1 Tanah Laut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) Pada pendekatann kecerdasan emosional, guru merencanakan terlebih dahulu karakter apaasaja yang diharapkan. Dengan begitu maka pendekatan kecerdasan emosional akan lebih terlaksana secara tepat dan terorganisir. Dalam tahap pelaksanaan guru melakukan suatu pendekatan kecerdasan emosional misalnya dengan meminta siswa mengerjakan soal latihan secara mandiri. Maka hal tersebut menumbuhkan sikap integritas, Guru melakukan evaluasi baik yang berkaitan dengan ranah kognitif seperti soal latihan dan ulangan harian maupun evaluasi sikap yang merupakan bagian dari kecerdasan emosional. 2) Faktor yang mendukung dalam pendekatan kecerdasan emosional dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Arab di MTsN 1 Tanah Laut yang paling terlihat adalah lingkungan. Sedangkan factor yang menghambat adalah latar belakang yang membentuk sifat bawaan mereka.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain information about the organisational climate in the education office and West Pasaman district seen from indicators of warmth, innovation, cooperation, openness, support and responsibility in the West Pasaman District Education and Culture Office. This type of research is descriptive research. The research population was all employees at the West Pasaman Regency Education and Culture Office, totaling 72 people. Determination of the magnitude is determined by the Slovin formula, withdrawal using saturated sampling technique. The instrument used was a questionnaire with a Likert scale and tested its validity and reliability. Furthermore, the data collected is analysed by finding the average and categorising the level of achievement. The results showed that organisational climate was seen 1) warmth 4.3, 2) innovation 4.3, 3) collaboration 4.4, 4) openness 4.4 5) support 4.3 and 6) responsibility 4.3. So the organisational climate in the Pasaman Barat district education office is included in the conducive category with an average score of 4.4.
