Abstract

Socialization regarding the e-voting system is important to increase public participation because good socialization can increase people’s desire to exercise their right to vote. The aim of the research is to determine the effect of socialization of the e-voting system on community participation in the election of Wali Nagari Durian Kapeh Darussalam. The approach method used is quantitative. The population is all people registered on the permanent voter list and the respondents are people who exercised their right to vote in the wali nagari election. Samples were taken using the proportionate stratified random sampling technique. The results explain that the variable socialization of the e-voting system has a significant effect on community participation which has an R Square of 0,563, which means that the influence of socialization of the e-voting system on community participation is 56%. In this case, the socialization of the e-voting system has a significant influence on community participation in the election of Wali Nagari Durian Kapeh Darussalam

Abstract

This research aims to examine economic diversification on the island of Bali from the perspective of tourism in the technology era. Bali, which has long been heavily reliant on the tourism sector, faces significant challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic, highlighting its vulnerability to external shocks. The study utilizes both qualitative approaches, gathering data through surveys, interviews, and literature analysis. The findings indicate that the agricultural sector, fisheries, creative industries, and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) show great potential for development as new economic drivers. Organic farming products and sustainable fisheries can meet local needs and offer export opportunities. Creative industries, particularly those digitally based, have garnered high interest from the younger generation and can significantly contribute to Bali's economy. Additionally, ICT can create opportunities in e-commerce, education, technology-based services, and enhance the effective promotion of local products. Local government support is crucial through skills training, capital assistance, and infrastructure development. However, policy implementation is often hindered by complex bureaucracy and budget limitations. The research concludes that economic diversification through the development of these sectors, with appropriate support, can enhance Bali's economic resilience and the well-being of local communities

Abstract

Company performance is a result obtained by the company through various kinds of company operational activities within a certain period of time as a company effort to generate maximum profits.  This research aims to test and analyze the influence of carbon emission disclosure and company size on the performance of manufacturing companies on the BEI in 2021-2023.  The population in this study was 170 companies and the research sample was 40 companies taken using the purposive sampling method.  The research results show that carbon emission disclosure and company size have a negative effect on company performance.

Abstract

Zakat is an obligation and part of the pillars of Islam, an individual who has property that meets the nisab is required to pay zakat, one of the zakat, namely professional zakat, is believed to be able to make a positive contribution to society, especially the economic aspects of mustahiq. However, a person's motivation in paying zakat determines the effectiveness of zakat distribution. The aim of this research is to discuss and analyze the factors that influence the motivation of State Civil Servants (ASN) in paying professional zakat. This research uses a qualitative approach with a sample of 20 State Civil Apparatus (ASN) as informants. The research method involves observation, interviews, and data analysis using Nvivo 12 Plus software. The results of this research show that the motivation of State Civil Servants (ASN) in paying professional zakat is influenced by social, religious, ethical, and personal factors. Factors such as religious beliefs, moral values, and personal desires play an important role in ASN's decision to pay professional zakat. Apart from that, the social environment and religious knowledge also influence a person's awareness of paying zakat

Abstract

This research aims to find out marketing strategies to increase sales and develop blooming bouquet products. This research uses a descriptive method through a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques for this research are observation, interviews, and research documentation by means of interviews conducted in Bengkayang and its surroundings, there are several informants who will be interviewed, with 3 aspects of questions, the research results obtained are regarding marketing strategies in improving and developing Blooming products. bouquets use marketing strategies, there are several things that must be done by business actors, namely carrying out product innovations in terms of shapes and variants requested by consumers as well as displaying more attractive packaging.

Abstract

Prestasi yang dicapai perusahaan serta kondisi keuangan yang tergambar dalam laporan keuangan menunjukkan kinerja keuangan dari perusahaan. Kinerja keuangan menjadi tolak ukur jangka panjang bagi perusahaan dalam keberlangsungan bisnisnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh manajemen asset dan ukuran perusahaan terhadap kinerja keuangan Penelitian dilakukan pada perusahaan subsector pariwisata, hotel dan restoran yang terdaftar di BEI tahun 2019 – 2022. Metode pengambilan menggunakan Teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa manajemen asset berpengaruh terhadap kinerja keuangan dan ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja keuangan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of leadership in improving employee performance at the West Papua Provincial Food Security Office. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research, which is research that describes narratively based on the data of research results that are objectively analyzed from the results of interviews, observations, and document reviews. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. As a result of the data analysis, it was concluded that the performance of employees at the West Papua Provincial Food Security Service had improved and was quite well implemented by the employees. Performance issues always receive attention in management because they are closely related to the productivity of an institution or organization. In this regard, efforts to conduct performance assessments are very important. It is recognized that many people are able but unwilling, so they still do not produce optimal performance.

Abstract

This qualitative study investigates the impact of community empowerment training on cadets' work-study balance and leadership development within Jakarta's maritime education institutions. Through in-depth interviews with 10 cadets engaged in internships alongside their academic studies, the study identifies key themes. These include the development of time management skills, enhancement of communication abilities, and opportunities for leadership growth facilitated by the training programme. Findings highlight the crucial role of practical skills development in equipping cadets to manage academic and professional responsibilities effectively. Recommendations for educational practices include integrating practical skills training, expanding leadership initiatives, fostering industry collaboration, implementing feedback mechanisms, and promoting lifelong learning among cadets and faculty. These initiatives aim to prepare cadets to meet the challenges of the maritime industry and contribute to its sustainable growth. The study contributes to enhancing educational strategies in maritime education and underscores the importance of holistic development in shaping future maritime leaders

Abstract

This study aims to find out the marketing mix strategy of the Cassava Snack cassava chips business using social media, namely by using Facebook, Whatsapp and marketing directly to consumers. The 4P marketing mix in this study is products, prices, promotions, and places. The methods used in this study are qualitative methods and descriptive approaches. To obtain data in this study, researchers conducted observations, direct interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is carried out qualitatively consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study show that the marketing mix strategy using the 4P method can increase product sales if applied properly, besides that marketing using social media can also help increase product sales, besides that product quality can also affect the marketing mix, because consumers will certainly see the product first from the quality, therefore quality plays a very important role in the marketing mix of a product especially in Cassava Snack products

Abstract

This study aims to find out the marketing mix strategy in the Ayam Geprek Aroma culinary business in conducting marketing that utilizes social media such as Facebook and Whatsapp which can affect consumers' buying interest in Ayam Geprek Aroma food. The marketing strategy used is products, prices, promotions, and places in marketing so that it can increase the sales turnover of Ayam Geprek Aroma. This study uses a type of qualitative research with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, direct interviews, and documentation. The results of this study also show that marketing strategies carried out through social media such as Facebook and Whatsapp as a marketing medium are quite effective, because many consumers use Facebook and Whatsapp more often to order Ayam Geprek Aroma products. As for the marketing mix of Ayam Geprek Aroma products, the quality has been guaranteed and product development can meet the wishes of consumers, as well as product prices that are affordable for all groups because they are relatively cheap. Promotions carried out through social media Facebook, Whatsapp and offline have a very good impact on Ayam Geprek Aroma products. The marketing mix strategy that most affects consumer buying interest is the price where Ayam Geprek Aroma is sold at a low price, but the taste is no less competitive with other products
