Abstract

In general, statistics can be defined as the study of the data and how to analyze it. Along with the times statistics is growing rapidly. Concepts in statistics is also widely used and applied by a variety of disciplines. As the economic field we can determine a country's income per capita. In the field of sociology we can figure out the pattern of population distribution and population growth rate. Field Mathematics statistics can also be used to determine the average value of the number of times the experiment, and much more. Actually in everyday life we also have to apply the basic concepts of statistics, but perhaps we do not realize. For example, as a student of course we have to regulate our financial condition to be sufficient until the end of the month, so we have to consider how much of our spending in a day. With this we have been using one of the statistical concept that is mean or average. Additionally, traders and farmers also indirectly using statistical concepts to determine whether or not their income increased in each year.Secara umum, statistik dapat didefinisikan sebagai studi tentang data dan bagaimana menganalisis itu. Seiring dengan perkembangan zaman statistik ini berkembang pesat. Konsep dalam statistik juga banyak digunakan dan diterapkan oleh berbagai disiplin ilmu. Sebagai bidang ekonomi kita dapat menentukan pendapatan negara per kapita. Di bidang sosiologi kita bisa mengetahui pola penyebaran penduduk dan laju pertumbuhan penduduk. statistik bidang Matematika juga dapat digunakan untuk menentukan nilai rata-rata jumlah kali percobaan, dan banyak lagi. Sebenarnya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari kita juga harus menerapkan konsep dasar statistik, tapi mungkin tidak kita sadari. Misalnya, sebagai mahasiswa tentu saja kita harus mengatur kondisi keuangan kami untuk menjadi cukup sampai akhir bulan, jadi kita harus mempertimbangkan berapa banyak pengeluaran kami dalam satu hari. Dengan ini kita telah menggunakan salah satu konsep statistik yang kasar atau rata-rata. Selain itu, pedagang dan petani juga secara tidak langsung menggunakan konsep statistik untuk menentukan apakah atau tidak pendapatan mereka meningkat di setiap tahun.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatahui pengaruh metode kerja kelompok terhadap motivasi belajar siswa di MTsN 1 Batanghari. Metode pengumpulan data melalui dokumentasi dan kuisioner. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi liner sederhana, koefisien determinasi dan uji t melalui bantuan aplikasi SPSS versi 20.Hasil penelitian melalui analisis regresi liner sederhana didapat persamaan yaitu Y=21.400+0,628(X). hal ini membuktikan bahwa ada pengaruh positif metode kerja kelompok terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Jika variabel metode kerja kelompok (X) adalah 0, maka motivasi belajar siswa (Y) akan tetap sebesar 21.400. tetapi jika variabel metode kerja kelompok naik dalam satu satuan, maka variabel motivasi belajar juga akan naik dengan peningkatan sebesar 0,628. Selanjutnya dalam uji t juga ditemukan bahwa nilai thitung> ttabel (6,431 > 1,671) dengan pengujian α=5%. Maka secara parsial terdapat pengaruh metode kerja kelompok terhadap motivasi belajar siswa di MTisN 1 Batanghari. nilai koefisien determinasi atau R2 didapat sebesar 0,416. Ini menunjukkan bahwa sumbangan pengaruh metode kerja kelompok terhadap motivasi belajar siswa sebesar 41,6% sedangkan sisanya (100-41,6=58,4) 58,4% disumbangkan oleh faktor lain yang tidak dimasukkan dalam model penelitian ini Abstract This study aims to determine the effect of group work methods on student motivation at MTsN 1 Batanghari. Methods of data collection through documentation and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used simple linear regression analysis, the coefficient of determination and the t test with the help of the SPSS version 20 application.The results of the study through simple linear regression analysis obtained the equation, namely Y = 21,400 + 0.628 (X). This proves that there is a positive effect of group work methods on student learning motivation. If the group work method variable (X) is 0, then the student learning motivation (Y) will remain at 21,400. but if the variable of the group work method increases in one unit, the learning motivation variable will also increase with an increase of 0.628. Furthermore, in the t test it was also found that the value of tcount> ttable (6.431> 1.671) with a test of α = 5%. So partially there is an effect of group work methods on student motivation at MTisN 1 Batanghari. the value of the coefficient of determination or R2 obtained is 0.416. This shows that the contribution of the effect of group work methods on student learning motivation is 41.6%, while the rest (100-41.6 = 58.4) 58.4% is contributed by other factors not included in this research model.

Abstract

Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk (1) mengetahui danmenganalisis apakah kinerja guru berpengaruh terhadap mutululusan di MTsN 4 Batanghari (2) mengetahui danmenganalisis apakah manajemen kurikulum berpengaruh terhadap mutu lulusan di MTsN 4 Batanghari (3)mengetahui dan menganalisis apakah kinerja guru dan manajemenkurikulum secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap mutu lulusan di MTsN 4 Batanghari.Riset ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei, di mana seluruh populasi merupakan bagian dari sampel yang berjumlah 20 orang guru di MTsN 4 Batanghari. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket. Hipotesis peneltian adalah bahwa ada pengaruh signifikan kinerja guru dan manajemen kurikulum terhadap mutu lulusan baik secara parsial maupun simultan.Hasil uji hipotesis secara parsial menunjukan ada pengaruh kinerja guru terhadap mutu lulusan, berdasarkan uji t menunjukan hasil thitung > ttabel (3,149 > 1,739). Selanjutnya uji parsial juga membuktikan ada pengaruh antara manajemen kurikulum dengan mutu lulusan. Hasil uji t, thitung > ttabel (2,212 > 1,739). Terakhir secara simultan dengan uji F, menunjukkan bahwa Fhitung > Ftabel (78,792>3,59) berarti bahwa ada pengaruh signifikan secara simultan kinerja guru dan manajemen kurikulum terhadap mutu lulusan di MTsN 4 Batanghari. Abstract The purpose of this research is to (1) find out and analyze whether teacher performance affects the quality of graduates at MTsN 4 Batanghari (2) determine and analyze whether curriculum management affects the quality of graduates at MTsN 4 Batanghari (3) determine and analyze whether teacher performance and curriculum management simultaneously affects the quality of graduates at MTsN 4 Batanghari.This research is a quantitative research with a survey approach, in which the entire population is part of a sample of 20 teachers at MTsN 4 Batanghari. The instrument used was a questionnaire. The research hypothesis is that there is a significant effect of teacher performance and curriculum management on the quality of graduates either partially or simultaneously.The results of the hypothesis test partially show that there is an effect of teacher performance on the quality of graduates, based on the t test shows the results of tcount> ttable (3.149> 1.739). Furthermore, the partial test also proves that there is an influence between curriculum management and the quality of graduates. The result of t test, t count> t table (2,212> 1,739). Finally, simultaneously with the F test, it shows that Fcount> Ftable (78.792> 3.59) means that there is a simultaneous significant influence on teacher performance and curriculum management on the quality of graduates at MTsN 4 Batanghari.

Abstract

Efforts of Principals in Improving the Quality of Islamic Education at SDIT AZ Jambi. The background of this study is that Islamic educational institutions, especially schools, still experience obstacles in improving the quality of education. This can be seen from various aspects ranging from curriculum objectives, educational personnel, learning methodologies, infrastructure facilities, and evaluation, as a whole still contains problems that until now have not been completely solved. Therefore, in improving the quality of Islamic education in schools, strong leadership from the principal is needed. The purpose of this study is to evaluate: 1) the efforts of principals in improving teacher professionalism, 2) the efforts of principals in improving the quality of educational infrastructure, 3) the efforts of principals in improving the quality of learning processes, and 4) the efforts of principals in improving student achievement at SDIT AZ Jambi. This research uses descriptive- qualitative methods and approaches by using three research instruments, namely interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results show that: 1) SDIT AZ Jambi has experienced a good improvement in quality. Under the leadership of a reliable principal, SDIT AZ Jambi can now become one of the Islamic educational institutions that are at the forefront and able to produce high -performing outputs. 2) The efforts of principals in improving the quality of education, namely: a) improving the professionalism of teachers by creating rules for teachers, placing teachers according to their abilities, giving trust and motivation, conducting coaching. b) improve the quality of infrastructure facilities through the improvement of infrastructure facilities, cooperate with other institutions/agencies in the procurement of infrastructure facilities. c) improve the quality of the learning process by developing an Islamic educational model, improving learning methods, managing the quality of the curriculum. d) improve student achievement by holding consolidation activities, additional lessons, cooperation with learning guidance institutions, guiding teachers to create effective learning, creating a disciplined school culture, providing various extracurriculars, sending students in various competitions.

Abstract

This research aimed at knowing the fine motor development of children through playingpaper pulp of the age of 5-6 years. Especially class B2 at the Raudhatul Al-Fattah Jangga Baru village inner districts Batin XXIV. The activity of playing paper pulp is one of the activities that can improve the fine motor development of children. That question that wants to be answered in this research is how to improve the fine motor development of children aged 5-6 years through playing paper pulp. The research is a classroom action research using a by project approach by taking the research object from the problem is found in the classroom, make use of used goods from the remaining paper learning scissors which is processed into paper pulp to produce a work. Through playing pulp it is hoped that it can improve the fine motor development of children so that the goals of learning can be achieved. To obtain data on the topic of the problem the writer used classroom action research, which is a type of research that aims to solve learning problems that arise in the classroom, and apply the theory of learning strategy that is most appropriate to the classroom conditions. As for the data analysis technique used in this study, it was analyzed descriptively using daily assessment techniques through observation sheets. The results showed that playing paper pulp is very influential for the fine motor development of children, from playing paper pulp of children to improve their fine motor skills, in these activities children can obey the rules given by the teacher by interacting directly with their peers, building friendships and communication between children while doing activities

Abstract

Based on the author's initial grand tour at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Batang Hari regarding the factors that affect teacher performance, including; competency factor that can be seen from the latest educational qualifications of teachers who are in accordance with the standards, but the number of certified teachers and teacher mastery of the subject matter taught is still not optimal. Then, the work discipline factor that can be seen from the level of teacher attendance in the last 3 months has increased and is good, but in terms of teacher obedience to Madrasa rules, it is still less/not optimal. In addition, teacher performance can also be influenced by the support given by the Madrasah Head to the teacher, which in this case is already optimal. Overall the teacher's performance achievement has been very good. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of competence on teacher performance, to determine the effect of work discipline on teacher performance, and to determine the effect of competence and work discipline on teacher performance at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Batang Hari. The population in this study were teachers of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Batang Hari, while the research sample used a saturated sample where all members of the population were sampled as many as 29 teachers. The data analysis used was multiple linear regression analysis, and the data was processed with the help of the SPSS Version 20 program. The results showed that, partially competence has a significant effect on teacher performance by 46.1%. Work discipline has a significant effect on teacher performance by 39.7%. Simultaneously there is a significant influence between competence and work discipline on teacher performance of 80.3%, with the obtained value of fcount>ftable (53.093>3.37). This shows reject H0 and accept Ha. This means that there is a significant influence between competence and work discipline together (simultaneously) on the performance of teachers at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Batang Hari. Where if the competence and work discipline are getting better, the performance of teachers at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Batang Hari will also be better. While the remaining 19.7% is influenced by other variables not included in this study.

Abstract

The purpose of this research article or journal is to describe the benefits of using the Canva application to increase the effectiveness of students' learning in Arabic learning. The research of this article is a qualitative research using a library research approach (library study). The research location is SMA Plus Panyabungan. The literature sources for this article are journals and books that are similar or similar to this research. The discussion of this article is about and the benefits of using the Canva application as an Arabic language education medium at the SMA/MA level. The result of this research is that the Canva application is a very helpful medium for teachers and students in the educational process such as making the power pont more attractive to display. The Canva application increases the creativity of teachers or students in Arabic education, especially in mastering Arabic vocabulary or what is called mufrodat. The Canva application is also useful for increasing students' interest in learning so that the learning process is not boring and interesting as well as fun.

Abstract

This research was focused on the activity of the head of library’s supervision in improving library services at the Department of Batanghari Library and Archieve Services. This study used qualitative method by observing participants to explane, to describe, and to interprete the process of implementation the supervision that carried out by the head of the library for improving library services, based on the visitors’ satisfaction. Based on the findings and discussion, it was known that the supervision that carried out by the head of the library in improving library services at the Department of Batanghari Library and Archives Service is direct supervision (inherent) that carried out by the Head of Library Division on each type of library service to achieve the planned library objectives effectively and efficiently. The obtacle that faced by the head of the library was the library human resources were not professional yet. To overcome these obstacle, there were some efforts as follows: a) Evaluated and corrected on library service activities, b) Gift training for library human resources to improve their performance, c) Increased the discipline enforcement for library human resources, and d) Added the library collections. So, the researcher concluded that the implementation of leadership supervision carried out by the Head of the Library in improving services was inherent supervision. However, there was obtacles on the implementation of survervision, which the library human resources were not professional yet. So to overcome these problems, there were some efforts as follows: evaluated and corrected on library service activities, gift training for library human resources to improve their performance, increased the discipline enforcement for library human resources, and added the library collections to satisfy library visitors.

Abstract

In principle, teachers have a high enough potential to be creative in order to improve their performance. these influencing factors include factors that arise from within the teacher's person, such as the teacher's spersonality, or factors that arise from outside the teacher's person, including motivation. Therefore, every leader in an educational institution needs to have certain strategies to improve performance. Based on the results of observations made by the author on teachers at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 3 Batanghari, there are various kinds that affect teacher performance, which the author considers to be a problem and is very worthy of further research on. This article explains how emotional intelligence an educator's energy is able to give the maximal contribution in motivating to learn the student.
