Abstract

This journal aims to examine the concept of bank interest (riba) within the framework of Islamic law (Sharia). The practice of charging and receiving interest has been a topic of significant debate and controversy among Islamic scholars and jurists. This paper provides an in-depth analysis of the philosophical underpinnings of bank interest in Islamic law, taking into account various perspectives and interpretations within the Islamic legal tradition. The journal begins by exploring the foundational principles of Islamic law and its ethical framework, highlighting the prohibition of riba as outlined in the Quran and the Hadith. It discusses the historical context and evolution of Islamic banking and finance, emphasizing the need for alternative financial mechanisms that comply with Islamic principles. The study then delves into the philosophical considerations surrounding bank interest from an Islamic legal perspective. It examines different schools of thought and the rationale behind their positions, including the arguments for and against the permissibility of bank interest. The utilitarian perspective evaluates the societal consequences of interest-based transactions, while the deontological approach emphasizes the adherence to moral principles. The contractualist viewpoint focuses on the voluntary agreements between parties, and the concept of justice and equality is examined in relation to interest-based transactions. Furthermore, the journal analyzes contemporary practices in Islamic banking and finance, including the development of Islamic financial instruments that adhere to Sharia principles. It explores the role of regulatory bodies in overseeing and ensuring compliance with Islamic law in the financial industry. The research concludes by synthesizing the diverse perspectives and providing a comprehensive understanding of the philosophical considerations surrounding bank interest in Islamic law. It emphasizes the importance of contextual interpretation and critical analysis within the Islamic legal tradition to address the challenges and complexities posed by modern financial systems.

Efforts that can be made to improve the quality of learning involve students to be able to build their knowledge and be able to solve a problem. One way to overcome this is by using the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) approach. This study aims to determine the effect of the STEM approach in learning to improve critical thinking skills and cognitive learning outcomes of class X SMA Negeri 1 Tahunan. The subjects in this study were students of class X MIPA. The sampling technique used in this research is cluster random sampling. This research method is True Experimental Design research using the Pretest and Posttest Control Group method. There are two classes in this study, namely the experimental class and the control class. Analysis of the t test data is used to see the difference in the mean between the two samples. The t-test of the cognitive learning outcomes of students in the experimental class and control class in the pretest obtained ttable <tcount, namely 1.66 <6.11. The t-test of the cognitive learning outcomes of students in the experimental class and control class in the Posttest obtained ttable 1.66 <tcount 6.145. The results of research between critical thinking and student learning outcomes there are significant differences, so this study can be concluded that the STEM approach is effective for improving critical thinking and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The talaqqi method is a learning approach that focuses on direct interaction between teachers and students. The aim of this method is to improve learning achievement through a personal approach that involves deep understanding, reflection, and individual coaching. In the context of education, the talaqqi method has proven effective in optimizing learning outcomes. This study aims to investigate the effect of the talaqqi method on student achievement. The talaqqi method provides opportunities for students to engage in in-depth interactions with the teacher, obtain direct feedback, and reflect on the subject matter. This helps improve students' understanding of concepts, cognitive skills, and learning motivation. In addition, the talaqqi method also has a positive impact on forming close relationships between teachers and students. Teachers can recognize the individual needs of students and provide appropriate coaching. Students feel more comfortable and actively involved in the learning process, thus creating a sense of responsibility for their own achievements. The implementation of the talaqqi method in learning the Koran begins with memuraja'ah with the letters that have been memorized. Then the teacher mentally recites or reads the verses that the children will read or memorize. After the teacher reads it, the students reread the verses that have been read over and over again so that the child can quickly read and memorize when the verses are memorized.

The study utilizes a combination of literature review and thematic analysis to explore the influence of globalization on the curriculum and the strategies employed by Madrasah Ibtidaiyah to strike a balance between traditional Islamic teachings and global knowledge and skills. The findings reveal that globalization has influenced the content and subjects taught in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah curriculum by necessitating the incorporation of global perspectives, emphasizing universal values, and contextualizing global knowledge within an Islamic framework. However, Madrasah Ibtidaiyah faces challenges in adapting their curriculum, including the need to ensure the preservation of Islamic teachings, addressing cultural sensitivities, and navigating societal expectations. Despite challenges, globalization offers opportunities for Madrasah Ibtidaiyah to enhance their curriculum and prepare students for a globalized world. This includes fostering intercultural communication, promoting global citizenship, encouraging critical thinking, nurturing tolerance and inclusion, and developing cultural sensitivity. The incorporation of global perspectives significantly impacts students' understanding of diversity and multiculturalism by exposing them to different cultures, challenging stereotypes, promoting intercultural communication, and fostering a sense of global citizenship. To achieve a balance between preserving traditional Islamic teachings and integrating global knowledge and skills, Madrasah Ibtidaiyah can employ strategies like integrating universal values, contextualizing global knowledge within an Islamic framework, collaborating with Islamic scholars, emphasizing Islamic history, developing specialized subjects, investing in teacher professional development, and engaging parents and the community.

Abstract

This article was created with the aim of knowing how far and how much influence the philosophy of science has on the ethics of learning among students or students who are currently studying. The reason for raising this case is considered very important because of the decline in ethics among educational units at the elementary, secondary, and even tertiary levels compared to educational units in the past. The method used in writing this article is study literature, the basis used in discussing the ethics of learning uses the basis of Islamic theory or ethics according to Islam. Then the guidelines for learning ethics use the Al-Qur'an and hadith as well as the perspective of scholars who observe education. Ethics is the philosophy of human action as a human (human action). In a philosophical perspective, ethics is a philosophical investigation of human obligations and human behavior in terms of the good and bad of this behavior. Ethics also has a very basic nature, namely critical nature. In general it can be said that ethics is a philosophy of human action as a human being. An action has ethical value if it is carried out by humans and within a humane framework. It is clear that ethics deals directly with human actions or behavior. This humane behavior is not a meaningless behavior, but one that pursues good values.

Abstract

Ethics in learning is an important thing that must exist. Where when we are studying a science then automatically we must be able to master it and understand the science. But it's not enough to just understand because one of the concepts of learning is to make a science a lesson so that we become better than before. The method that the author uses is the literature review method where the goal is to explore existing theories and encode them with other theories from other sources. The aim is to provide additional information to readers and to become material for review in the development of other sciences.
