Abstract

The condition of the corona virus outbreak makes children less than optimal in gaining knowledge, because learning that is usually done at school must be done online. The purpose of this study is to find out how the obstacles are and how to overcome obstacles in the implementation of early children’s learning during the covid 19 pandemic at Mamba'ul Ulum Kindergarten Bajubang. This research uses qualitative method, with data collection techniques, observation, interviews and documentation. The respondents in this study are principals, teachers and parents of students. The result of this study is that the implementation of early children’s learning during the COVID-19 pandemic at Mamba'ul Ulum Kindergarten Bajubang is carried out in accordance with the RPPH (Daily Lesson Plan) which is made simpler containing identities, including: theme, sub-theme, day, date and activities to be carried out. Then in the implementation of learning all teachers take turns every day making learning videos that are in accordance with the RPPH (Daily Lesson Plan). The video is a guide for parents at home. Obstacles faced by parents who do not have android mobile phones, lack of parental understanding of early children’s learning, learning outcomes are less than optimal because teachers cannot see directly the process of activities carried out by children. Efforts to overcome problems in early children’s learning during the COVID-19 pandemic at Mamba'ul Ulum Kindergarten Bajubang are by providing additional explanations for learning activities by giving understanding continuously and providing reinforcement to parents.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of leadership style and organizational climate on teacher job satisfaction at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Batang Hari. This was a quantitative research with a survey approach. The population of this study is the number of all teachers who teach at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Batang Hari. Multiple regression analysis was used to analyze the data and processed by the SPSS Version 20.0 program. The results showed that leadership style had a significant effect on job satisfaction with t count > t table (5.541 > 1.693). This indicated that Ha was rejected and H0 was accepted. Additionally, organizational climate has a significant effect on job satisfaction by obtaining a value of t count> t table (3.491> 1.693). This indicated that Ha was rejected and H0 was accepted. This mainly meant that partially there was a significant effect between leadership style and organizational climate on job satisfaction. With the results of the coefficient of determination (r square) of 0.961, it meant that the leadership style and organizational climate variables were able to increase job satisfaction decisions by 96.1% and 0.039 or 3.9% were residual variables with a significant effect.

Abstract

This study aimed to find out about how the management of the madrasah principal in implementing character education in MIN Sengati Gedang, Mersam District. The importance of this study because the principal and all madrasah citizens are responsible for improving the quality of education in Indonesia. Therefore, it becomes a demand to be able to make important contributions in the field of education to produce good quality, competitive, professional, innovative students in possessing good character for the nation's future generations.

Abstract

the purpose of this research is to describe the experience of Al-Falah school in Jakarta in building mathematical logic intelligence through beam centers using scaffolding. The research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive research approach, this is intended to be able to reveal empirical facts in a natural way, and to reveal something behind every event (some things beyond) in building mathematical logic intelligence, and throughout a series of learning activities for Early Childhood Education in Indonesia. Al-Falah school in a more focused and in-depth manner. The findings of the study stated that the use of scaffolding by teachers during the learning process at the beam center strongly supports the development of children's mathematical logic, this is evidenced by the increasing stage of children's playing with blocks and how children can solve their own problems while playing.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to show student’s competence in using online Media as a tool in English Language learning. Qualitative data were collected from the students of the English Department, Faculty of Education, IAI Nusantara Batanghari. Sample of this study was selected by using purposive sampling. The data collection technique was in the form of interview and observation on learning activity. Then, the data were analyzed descriptively. The result showed that three types of online media utilized by the students such as Zoom application, Video performance and WhatsApp messenger. The most favorite media was WhatsApp messenger due to easy to use, practical, fast use, saving internet data, and can be accessed only with mobile phones. WhatsApp has various features that can be used to support communication such as New Groups, New Broadcasts, WhatsApp Web, Broadcast Messages and Settings with internet service assistance. The group menu option was used as a place for discussion activity for the teacher with students and students with their friends in solving problems, for example the teacher sends several questions to be solved according to the material that has been given.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve learning outcomes of fourth grade students through the PAIKEM learning model in the subject of Islamic Religious Education, the subject of faith in angels or Malaikah at IV SDN No. 171/I Bajubang Laut, Bajubang Laut Village, Muara Bulian District, Batang Hari Regency in even semesters, academic year 2020/2021. The method used in this research was Action Research which refers to the Classroom Action Research model consisting of two cycles which includes four stages; planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data analysis used quantitative and qualitative data. Analysis of quantitative data with descriptive statistics was to compare the results obtained from the first cycle and the second cycle, while the qualitative data analysis by analyzing data from the results of field notes and interviews during the study with steps. The results showed an increase in learning outcomes through the application of the PAIKEM learning model. This can be proven by the average score of completeness before the action was 60.21. The average test results of students during the learning process from cycle I to cycle II have increased. Student learning outcomes indicated by the scores they obtained in the evaluation tests of cycles I and II experienced a significant increase. In the first cycle, the students' completeness was only 67.67 to 80 in the second cycle.

Abstract

The incung script is an ancient script used by the indigenous Kerinci tribe as a medium of communication written on logs/bark, buffalo horns and palm leaves. The implementation of the incung script as a curriculum development based on local wisdom is an image of the community to continue to preserve culture in the form of education. The purpose of this study is to see how the process of implementing the incung script is a form of local wisdom-based curriculum development at SD Negeri 046/XI Koto Tengah. This study uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach to show how the implementation of the incung script in education. The result of the study shows that the implementation of the incung script as a form of local wisdom-based curriculum development goes through seven stages including: feasibility and needs study stage

Abstract

Management in the management of zakat nationally was socialized after the issuance of Law Number 38 of 1999 concerning Zakat Management in Indonesia. However, in the course of the management of zakat management in Indonesia, there are problems in the formation of zakat management at the regional, district, sub-district and zakat managers in the form of community organizations. So that in zakat management the distribution of zakat is not right on target so that zakat management gets pros and cons in the community. The purpose of this study is to examine more deeply the implications of zakat management in Indonesia through the literature so that answers are obtained such as the contribution of solutions in this study. The methodology in this research is the type in this research is a qualitative research literature. While the approach in this study uses a normative juridical approach. The results in this study are the management of zakat management must be adjusted to the needs of those who are entitled to receive it according to the socio-economic conditions of Muslim citizens.

Abstract

Quality improvement is becoming increasingly important for an educational institution as an effort to gain better control through its actions. The principal is a leader with the authority to regulate everything in a school institution. For the duties and responsibilities of school leaders to become real, presumably, school principals need to understand, explore and apply several concepts of management science first - these have been developed by thinkers in the business world, namely TQM (Total Quality Management) or Integrated Quality Management - later applied in education. Implementation of education needs to pay attention to the characteristics, aspirations, and needs of the community. Education should be able to provide a contextual response according to the global context. In other words, various efforts to bring together multiple parties with interests or stakeholders so that access to the formulation of policies and decision-making concerning equity and expansion of services, quality, relevance, and efficiency of education management.
