Abstract

Effective digital archive management is a key factor in supporting the administrative efficiency of government agencies. Balai Pengawas Obat dan Makanan (BPOM) di Jambi, as a regional technical implementation unit of the National Agency of Drug and Food Control, faces operational challenges related to financial document retrieval that relies on manual, non-centralized processes. This research aims to implement a financial archive system based on Google Sites as an innovation in digitizing administrative management at BPOM di Jambi. The research employed a descriptive method with an implementation approach, encompassing observation, system design, development, functional testing using the black-box testing method, and evaluation. The results indicate that the Google Sites-based financial archive system successfully provides centralized navigation menus for various financial document categories, including Uang Persediaan (UP), Langsung (LS), Bendahara Pengeluaran (BP), SPP, SPM, SP2D, and SK Tim Keuangan, all integrated directly with structured Google Drive folders. Black-box testing confirmed that all navigational features functioned without errors. The implementation of this system significantly accelerated the financial document retrieval process compared to conventional methods, reduced dependence on manual administration, and improved transparency of financial information within the organization. This study demonstrates that no-code platforms such as Google Sites can serve as an effective and low-cost solution for digital transformation of administrative management in government agencies at the regional level.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has encouraged Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to utilize consumer data as a basis for business decision-making. This study aims to analyze the role of consumer data utilization in supporting business decision-making among MSMEs in West Kalimantan using the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) method. The study employed a descriptive method with qualitative and quantitative approaches. The research was conducted from September to October 2025 involving 50 MSME owners representing several districts and cities in West Kalimantan. The respondents consisted of culinary businesses (40%), fashion and handicraft businesses (30%), and beauty product businesses (30%). Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and literature studies. The results revealed that WhatsApp customer data was the most widely utilized source of consumer data (92%), followed by customer purchase data (88%), Instagram and Facebook follower data (84%), Shopee marketplace data (76%), and customer complaint data (68%). SWOT analysis indicated that MSMEs in West Kalimantan were positioned in Quadrant I (Growth Oriented Strategy), suggesting that internal strengths and external opportunities were more dominant than weaknesses and threats. Therefore, the recommended strategy is an aggressive growth strategy through optimizing data-driven digital marketing, developing products based on customer needs, and implementing a more integrated customer data management system.

Abstract

Most traders in traditional markets still record sales transactions and inventory manually, resulting in inaccurate data, difficulties in monitoring stock levels, and delays in business decision-making. This study aims to design and develop a desktop-based sales and inventory information system equipped with an analytical dashboard to assist store owners in recording transactions, managing inventory, and visually analyzing sales data. The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with a Prototyping approach, while the system was designed using the Object-Oriented Design (OOD) approach modeled with Unified Modeling Language (UML), including use case diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, and class diagrams. The system was developed using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with MySQL as the database management system. The results of Black Box Testing conducted on 14 test scenarios indicated that all system features, including transaction recording, inventory management, and analytical dashboard visualization, functioned according to user requirements. The developed system enables store owners to monitor sales performance and inventory levels in real time and supports faster, more accurate, and data-driven business decision-making.

Abstract

Flooding in Indonesia is becoming increasingly frequent. Data from the National Agency for Disaster Countermeasure (BNPB) records an average of over 3,000 flood events annually over the past decade (BNPB, 2023). Meanwhile, classroom instruction on flood mitigation often relies on lectures and lacks direct student engagement. This study developed FS-CPSM (Feedback System-Based Creative Problem Solving Metaverse), an educational game created in Roblox Studio that integrates the six-stage Creative Problem Solving (CPS) framework into a fictional post-flood village environment. Players are guided through an interactive interface spanning stages from "Mess Finding" to "Acceptance Finding" supported by an automated feedback system that provides validation and hints when answers are incomplete. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) methodology with functional testing. Results showed that all 12 key features ranging from the CPS interface and the Sumatra flood story panel to the feedback system operated without errors, achieving a 100% system success rate. This research demonstrates that Roblox Studio is a viable platform for educational games based on structured problem-solving.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the usability of the Digital Population Identity (Identitas Kependudukan Digital/IKD) application using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method. A descriptive quantitative approach was employed, with the study conducted at the Department of Population and Civil Registration (Disdukcapil) of Malang City. Data were collected through a Google Forms-based SUS questionnaire distributed to 50 respondents selected using purposive sampling, consisting of users with prior experience using the IKD application. The research instrument comprised 10 SUS statements measured on a five-point Likert scale. The validity test indicated that all questionnaire items were valid with r-values exceeding 0.2732, while the reliability test produced a Cronbach's Alpha value of 0.834, indicating good internal consistency. The SUS evaluation yielded an average score of 77.42, categorized as Acceptable, achieving Grade B with a Good adjective rating. However, the Net Promoter Score (NPS) remained in the Passive category, indicating the need for improvements in data integration stability and facial registration procedures to enhance user satisfaction and encourage stronger user advocacy.

Abstract

Abstract. The diversity of consumption fish species in traditional markets often creates difficulties in the identification process, particularly for species with similar morphological characteristics. This study aims to compare the performance of two Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) architectures, namely VGG-16 and MobileNetV2, in classifying 15 species of consumption fish sold at Banyuasri Market, Singaraja. The dataset consisted of 750 images, which were divided into 600 training images and 150 testing images. Furthermore, the training dataset was split into 480 training images and 120 validation images. During the training process, on-the-fly image augmentation was applied using rotation, width and height shifting, zoom, shear, horizontal flipping, and brightness adjustment to improve the model's generalization capability. The training process was conducted in two stages: an initial training phase of 20 epochs followed by a fine-tuning phase of 25 epochs. The experimental results showed that MobileNetV2 outperformed VGG-16, achieving an accuracy of 90.67%, precision of 91.28%, recall of 90.67%, and an F1-score of 90.66%, while VGG-16 achieved an accuracy of 88.00%, precision of 89.03%, recall of 88.00%, and an F1-score of 87.33%. Based on these findings, MobileNetV2 is considered more effective and computationally efficient for consumption fish classification and has strong potential to serve as the foundation for developing web-based and mobile-based fish identification systems.

Abstract

Manual guest books in public offices often create incomplete visitor records, slow visit-history retrieval, weak host approval control, limited real-time visibility of active visitors, and difficulty in producing accountable reports. This study develops a web-based digital guest check-in system for monitoring visits at the Communication and Informatics Office of Tegal Regency. The research applies the waterfall model covering requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance planning. The system includes guest self check-in, WhatsApp number validation, ID-card OCR assistance, host selection, host approval, visit status monitoring, in-app notification, Role-based Access Control, audit log, report export, and emergency attendance. The implementation uses Next.js 15, React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS on the frontend, NestJS on the backend, Socket.IO for realtime communication, and a relational data design prepared for PostgreSQL and Prisma ORM. Functional testing showed that login, guest check-in, form validation, OCR correction, approval, visit search, check-out, overstay marking, notification, reporting, user management, host management, endpoint handlers, and emergency attendance worked according to expected outputs. The developed system improves operational traceability, reduces dependence on paper records, strengthens role-based control, and provides faster visit information for front office, host, security, administrator, and leadership roles.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has encouraged government institutions to adopt digital transformation to improve administrative efficiency and service quality. The Tarub District Office manages incoming and outgoing correspondence, which previously relied on manual recording and physical archives, making document retrieval and archive management inefficient. This study aimed to develop a web-based e-archiving information system to improve the management of correspondence archives. The system was developed using the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Waterfall model, including requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The application was built using PHP with the CodeIgniter framework, MySQL as the database, and Bootstrap for the user interface. The resulting system provides features for managing user data, employee data, archive codes, external agencies, incoming and outgoing correspondence, activity agendas, dispositions, and report generation. Functional testing covered form validation, document retrieval, file uploading, user access rights, and report generation, with all features operating successfully according to system requirements. The implementation of the e-archiving system improves the efficiency, accuracy, and organization of correspondence management at the Tarub District Office, thereby supporting higher-quality public administration services.

Abstract

The documentation process for community service activities is often not centralized and not well-published, resulting in activity information not being systematically organized and difficult to access by both internal parties and the wider community. This study developed a web-based community service activity portfolio application with a case study at Nurul Fikri College of Technology. The system development process applied the Extreme Programming (XP) method, consisting of planning, design, coding, and testing stages. The application was built using the Laravel framework with a Model-View-Controller (MVC) approach and supported by MySQL as the database management system. The results of the study indicate that the community service activity portfolio web application was successfully developed and is able to assist the documentation, management, and publication of activities in a more structured manner. The application provides various features, such as managing activity portfolios, services, partners, expertise, submissions, activity documentation, and managing other supporting data. Based on the results of testing using the Black Box User Acceptance Testing (UAT) method, all features in the system successfully implemented according to their expected functions and user requirements.

Abstract

Warsidi Store is a retail business that still performs sales transactions, inventory management, and report generation manually. This condition leads to inefficient data processing, increases the risk of recording errors, and delays report preparation and decision-making. This study aims to design and develop a web-based Point of Sale (POS) Information System integrated with inventory management to improve sales transaction processing, inventory control, and report generation more effectively and efficiently. The system was developed using the Waterfall software development methodology, which consists of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The application was built using PHP with the CodeIgniter 3 framework, MySQL as the database management system, and supporting technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and jQuery. System testing was conducted using the Black Box Testing method to verify that all system functions operated according to user requirements. The results indicate that the developed system is capable of managing product data, sales transactions, inventory, customer data, operational expenses, and automatically generating sales and inventory reports. In addition, the system automatically updates stock quantities after each sales transaction, thereby improving inventory accuracy. Based on the testing results, all major system functionalities operated successfully and were declared valid according to the specified functional requirements. Therefore, the developed web-based Point of Sale (POS) Information System can improve the effectiveness, efficiency, and accuracy of operational management at Warsidi Store.
