Abstract

The process of creating and verifying employee ID cards at BKPSDMD Jambi City was previously carried out manually, resulting in lengthy processing times, data entry errors, and a high risk of identity forgery. This study aims to design and implement a web-based employee ID card digitalization system integrated with QR Code technology to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and security of employee identity verification. The system was developed using the Waterfall methodology, consisting of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The application was built using Native PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Functional testing was conducted using Black Box Testing with 12 test scenarios, while usability evaluation employed the System Usability Scale (SUS) involving 20 respondents. The results indicate that all core system features functioned properly, achieving a 100% success rate on valid test scenarios. Furthermore, the usability evaluation produced an average SUS score of 71.75, which falls into the good and acceptable categories. The implementation successfully accelerated the ID card issuance process, improved data management accuracy, and enhanced identity verification security through QR Code integration directly connected to the employee database. Therefore, the developed system effectively supports digital transformation and improves the efficiency of employee identity management at BKPSDMD Jambi City.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of information systems in supporting digital business success, particularly among Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), using a Narrative Literature Review (NLR) approach. The review examined various national and international scientific articles obtained from Scopus, ScienceDirect, SpringerLink, and Google Scholar databases published between 2021 and 2025. The findings reveal that information systems play a strategic role in improving operational efficiency, decision-making quality, innovation capability, customer engagement, and organizational competitive advantage in the digital transformation era. Technologies such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), cloud computing, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and digital platforms have proven to enhance SME performance and business sustainability. In addition to technological factors, the successful implementation of information systems is influenced by organizational readiness, digital capabilities of human resources, organizational culture, transformational leadership, as well as government support and digital infrastructure. The study also identifies several challenges in SME digitalization, including limited digital literacy, technological readiness, and financial resources. This research contributes theoretically by integrating the perspectives of Resource-Based View (RBV), Dynamic Capability Theory, and Digital Transformation Theory in explaining information systems as strategic organizational resources.

Abstract

The absence of integrated blood stock management in hospitals, relying on current manual procedures, frequently results in delayed services and challenges in fulfilling blood requirements under emergencies. This research seeks to design and build a web-based blood stock monitoring platform called HemoBridge, offering real-time data accessible by the public, healthcare facilities, and the Ministry of Health. The System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) framework with the well-known Waterfall approach was adopted, encompassing needs analysis, system architecture, development, verification, deployment, and upkeep. This study used a qualitative methodology through field observation and literature review. The platform was developed using PHP and the Laravel framework, with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL as supporting technologies. Findings indicate HemoBridge was successfully deployed with core features comprising a comprehensive landing page, donor education, role-based access control, an integrated hospital management panel, a Ministry of Health dashboard, and an advanced blood stock search module with referral capability. Validation through Black Box Testing across six primary functions confirmed all features performed as intended. The platform demonstrates the capacity to enhance data management efficiency, accelerate information retrieval, and strengthen evidence-based decision-making in healthcare. Prospective enhancements include automated stock alerts, data encryption, and wider interoperability with health institutions throughout Indonesia.

Abstract

Digital transformation in healthcare encourages healthcare facilities to implement Electronic Medical Records (EMR). The success of EMR implementation is not only determined by system and infrastructure readiness but also influenced by users' digital literacy and technology readiness. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between digital literacy and technology readiness using the Technology Readiness Index (TRI) among EMR users at Grha Atma Primary Clinic Bandung. This study used a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 31 respondents using total sampling. Data were collected using a digital literacy questionnaire adapted from DHLI and a TRI questionnaire. Data analysis included univariate analysis (Three Box Method) and bivariate analysis using Spearman Rank correlation. The results showed that digital literacy was categorized as high across all dimensions. Technology readiness indicated that optimism and innovativeness were high, while discomfort and insecurity ranged from moderate. Spearman test results showed a significant positive relationship between digital literacy and technology readiness (p = 0.003; r = 0.519). This study concludes that digital literacy significantly influences technology readiness among EMR users. Improving digital literacy is essential to enhance technology readiness and optimize EMR implementation.

Abstract

Unpredictable changes in weather conditions have increased the need for real-time weather monitoring systems. This study aims to implement an Internet of Things (IoT)-based adaptive weather monitoring and alarm system by utilizing JSON Web API as a weather data source. This system is built using NodeMCU ESP8266 as the main microcontroller connected to the OpenWeatherMap API service via an internet network. The weather data obtained includes temperature, humidity, and weather conditions which are then displayed on the MAX7219 Matrix monitoring and display website in real-time. In addition, this system is equipped with an adaptive alarm feature that can be controlled through the website so that users can set alarms according to their needs. The research method used is an experimental method with a descriptive approach through the stages of system design, hardware and software implementation, and system testing. Based on the test results, the system successfully displays weather information in real-time and runs automatic alarms according to user settings. With this system, users can obtain weather information and time reminders more effectively, practically, and efficiently.

Abstract

This study aims to implement Business Intelligence using Microsoft Power BI to support network disturbance monitoring based on trend analysis. The main problem addressed in this research is that network disturbance data has only been used as documentation, resulting in suboptimal monitoring and data analysis processes. The data used in this study consists of historical network disturbance data, including information on disturbance location, type of disturbance, occurrence time, and resolution duration. The research methodology includes data collection, data preprocessing, implementation of a Business Intelligence dashboard, and trend analysis using interactive visualizations in Microsoft Power BI. The developed dashboard consists of Key Performance Indicators (KPI), interactive filters, line charts, pie charts, bar charts, and table visuals to support a more effective and structured network monitoring process. The results show that the implementation of the Business Intelligence dashboard is capable of supporting real-time, interactive, and user-friendly monitoring of network disturbances. The trend analysis results indicate that the number of network disturbances fluctuated each month, with the highest number occurring in August and the lowest in November. In addition, the dominant types of disturbances were identified as Supporting Facilities and Electrical Problems. Based on functional testing and user testing results, all dashboard features performed successfully and were considered effective in supporting monitoring activities and data-driven decision making.

Abstract

Manual management of customer receivables in manufacturing companies often leads to inefficiencies, including slow analysis processes, difficulty in monitoring outstanding balances, and limited ability to track payment trends comprehensively. This study designed a Business Intelligence Dashboard using Microsoft Power BI to address these issues at PT. XX Industry, employing a Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) approach consisting of four stages: Planning, Analysis, Design, and Implementation. During the design phase, a data warehouse was built using a star schema model in SQL Server Management Studio, followed by an Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) process to ensure data accuracy and consistency prior to integration into Power BI. Five Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) were established collaboratively with company management through a series of online discussions, comprising Total Invoice, Total Payment, Total Receivables, Payment Rate, and Average Payment Time, all implemented using DAX expressions. The resulting dashboard features monthly trend visualizations, customer-based receivables distribution, and interactive filter capabilities. System testing confirmed that all components functioned correctly, while ETL validation verified consistency between processed and source data. User Acceptance Testing (UAT) conducted by management yielded an average score of 4.7 out of 5, reflecting a very high level of user acceptance. Overall, this dashboard proved effective in improving receivables monitoring efficiency and supporting faster, data-driven decision-making.

Abstract

The development of information technology and the internet has increased the use of online marketplaces as sources of transaction and information, including in the used vehicle sector. OLX provides vehicle information such as price, brand, year, fuel type, mileage, and seller location, but the data is presented individually, making overall market analysis difficult. This study aims to design a used car market analysis dashboard based on OLX advertisement data in the Greater Jakarta area using a Business Intelligence (BI) approach. Data were collected through web scraping and processed through data cleaning to improve quality. Market segmentation was conducted using the K-Means Clustering method based on vehicle price, year, and mileage. A Star Schema analytical database was implemented to support data management and visualization. User information needs were identified through questionnaires to determine Measures and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The dashboard was developed using Microsoft Power BI and features interactive visualizations, including KPI Cards, Bar Charts, Line Charts, and Pie Charts. Results show that the dashboard presents market information in a structured and informative manner, including vehicle counts, average prices, market trends, brand and location distributions, and segmentation results. Black Box Testing confirmed that all dashboard functions operated as expected, supporting faster and more effective data-driven decision making.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a web-based Attendance Monitoring System for CPNS Latsar Training Participants using the Laravel and Filament framework at the University of Jambi. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Waterfall model, which includes the stages of needs analysis, design, Implementation, Testing, and Maintenance of the system. The results of the study show that the system successfully runs digital attendance features, real-time monitoring, and generates automatic reports with a test success rate of 100%. In addition, the results of the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) obtained a feasibility score of 92.8% in the category of "Very Feasible". These findings confirm that the developed system is able to help the attendance administration process, improve the ease of monitoring participants, and support the management of attendance data in a more structured and efficient manner. Thus, this web-based monitoring system can be an innovative solution in supporting the effectiveness of the Implementation of CPNS Latsar Training within the University of Jambi.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze horror film production data using a Business Intelligence approach to generate information that can support the evaluation and planning of film production processes. The data used in this study were obtained from horror treatment documents and shot lists of a feature-length horror film, containing various information related to the filming process, such as scene numbers, shot numbers, scene descriptions, involved characters, shooting locations, and cinematographic techniques employed during production. The collected data were processed and visualized using Microsoft Power BI to develop an interactive dashboard capable of presenting important information in a visual format. The dashboard was designed to provide insights into scene distribution, shot type composition, character involvement in each scene, and shooting patterns throughout the film production process. Through data visualization in the form of an interactive dashboard, directors and production teams are expected to gain a clearer understanding of the film’s visual structure and production complexity. The resulting insights can support production evaluation and facilitate more informed decision-making for future film projects.
