Abstract

This study examines the phenomenon of disruption of religious religiosity among Muslim communities in Indonesia, as well as their acceptance of digital platform-based religious facilities during the Covid-19 pandemic. By using qualitative research methods and analysis of studies based on postmodern sociological theory, this study obtained three findings; 1) During the Covid-19 pandemic, social activities in Indonesia experienced quite strict restrictions and tightening of crowds, including socio-religious activities. In this regard, sacred religious activities that were previously carried out openly in places of public worship such as mosques, prayer rooms, churches, were all carried out separately and separately, turning to virtual worship through the use of digital applications such as Zoom, Google meet, and the like; 2) In general, the emergence of these new rites is accepted by the majority of Indonesian Muslims, and has even become a new religiosity phenomenon that is often found in many religious activities. Mainstream Muslim organizations in Indonesia, Nahdhatul Ulama and Mumahammadiyah, support the policy of sterilizing public places of worship. However, for the virtualization of religion, within certain limits, both of them criticize and even refuse to virtualize religion in totality, except for religious rituals that are only celebrations or slametans such as tahlilan and istigasah; 3) In the context of the dynamics of Islamic rites in Indonesia, the shift in religiosity among the Muslim community can be found in a number of socio-religious activities such as virtual tahlil, virtual tarawih, virtual haul, virtual gatherings on holidays, even religious activities that have a mandatory law to be held regularly. congregation is like the Friday prayer at the mosque.

This paper discusses the idea of science which tends to get a negative response and does not develop. In fact, the main goal is to provide a new awareness in obtaining modern knowledge in accordance with the needs of Muslims. The main focus of writing is how the nature or purpose of the Islamization of Science. The main focus is discussed with a descriptive qualitative method through a historical-philosophical approach based on literature data. This paper shows that the essence of the idea of the Islamization of science is a movement for the renewal of science which bases itself on the fact that modern science is developing contrary to religion, so there is a need for a cleansing liberation movement. This idea has major implications, namely right and wrong between science and religion. In fact, the standard of truth is different from one another so that it forces the truth of one (religion) to justify knowledge or vice versa creates an attitude of human disharmony. Abstract

This article challenges the assumption that teacher training programs need not to be based on data-informed decision making. It argues that such an approach neglects the contextual factors and the agency of the teachers in shaping their own professional development. Using a qualitative research method, the article presents a multiple case study of three islamic elementary schools in Pekalongan, Indonesia that have implemented data-informed teacher training programs. The findings reveal that teacher forums play a crucial role in determining the content and format of the training programs, that islamic teachers face various challenges in adapting to the digital era, and that the foundation management has a significant influence on the quality and sustainability of the training programs. The article concludes that teacher training programs should be more responsive to the needs and preferences of the teachers, rather than being imposed by mere trends and trial and error.

The article adopts a qualitative method with a multiple-case study approach on three private Islamic schools in Pekalongan, a city known for its Islamic culture and tradition. Abstract

The People's Defenders National Movement (GNPR) held the 411 Action to demand President Jokowi step down from his position. Even though the action was in the name of defending the people, it contained the practice of Muslim identity politics. This Muslim identity can be exploited by the media to reap benefits from the audience. The theory in this research is propaganda and commodification. The purpose of this study is to analyze Tribunnews' efforts to make a profit in the context of political economy. This study uses qualitative methods through semiotic analysis of Rolland Barthes. The results of this study see that Muslim identities tend to be displayed in Tribunnews live reports. Setting the point of view of the journalist's camera makes Muslim identity a spectacle material to be used as a commodity material. In addition, the selection of action images also strengthened the propaganda message of the demonstration. There are various signs displayed in the live report, such as white cloth clothes, caps, and other clothes that symbolize Islamic religious identity. In addition to commodification, there are propaganda practices carried out through this media. Propaganda practices are carried out to build a position between the protagonist and antagonist through broadcasts on Youtube.
