Migration is an issue that has long been occurring in this part of the world, but not a few circles claim that it is an action that threatens domestic conditions. Islam itself has been practicing since prophetic times known as Hijrah. This paper will discuss how the Islamic view of migration often states that it can be a threat to the security and stability of the country in this increasingly modern era. This paper uses a qualitative descriptive method with the findings that America, which is used as a mecca for a superpower, has a different view from migration, which can be a serious threat to the country, while Islam has another view, namely that migration or hijrah is a necessity if the situation not possible to settle in the country of origin.

This study aims to determine the impact of Muslim student religiosity on local wisdom in Indonesia. This study uses a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to 1026 students. The sample is taken based on the purposive sampling technique, which is only targeting Muslim students who practice moderate Islamic teachings. This study uses five dimensions of religiosity, namely spirituality (X1), ideological (X2), intellectual (X3), experiential (X4), and consequential (X5). To estimate the effect of these dimensions, this study applies multiple linear regression models. The results reveal there is a positive relationship between students’ religiosity and local wisdom in Indonesia. Empirical evidence also indicates that there are only three dimensions of religiosity that have a positive and statistically significant effect on local wisdom, namely ideological, intellectual, and consequential. Then, the consequential dimension has the highest effect, where the regression coefficient is 1.54. Meanwhile, the dimensions of spirituality and experience are known to have a positive but insignificant effect. The implication is that Muslim students who have an open attitude and are not rigid are very good social assets in preserving the values of local wisdom in Indonesia.

One of the most popular wirid in Indonesia is Ratib al-Haddad. The practice is a collection of prayers arranged by Abdullah ibn Alawi al-Haddad taken of the Qur'an and hadith. In a pandemic situation, the practice becomes one that is recommended by some circles to be beread so that the pandemic outbreak immediately subsides. But many of the practitioners are not yet aware of its history and virtues, especially during the pandemic. This paper intends to study the history of the wirid from the beginning of writing and its virtues. Through the historical approach, the method literature review, and observation of the practice of the ratiban tradition, this paper will explain the historical studies and benefits of practicing wirid Ratib al-Haddad, which is sourced from the description of the book of syarah (explanatory) of the Ulama. The wirid was compiled by al-Haddad to avoid the chaos of akidah there was that time. In addition, there are eight virtues implied in the text wirid one of which avoids the outbreak so that no doubt if the practice is widely recommended and practi ced in the current situation of the Covid-19 pandemic. The influence of ratib al-Haddad practice can also be seen through the congregation of the Majelis Jum'at Pagi (MJP) Al-Khoirot, who stated more peace of mind after practicing the wirid so as to increase immunity.

This article intends to provide an explanation of the paradox of piety and violations of marital legal norms shown in Si Doel The Movie, as well as a juridical analysis of these violations. This study uses a cross-disciplinary approach, namely the semiotic approach and juridical-empirical analysis. The data was collected qualitatively with documentation techniques, then the semiotic analysis of the Roland Barthes model was carried out, then the marriage law analysis was carried out. This study reveals that marital life in the movie is filled with signs that can be interpreted as images of piety and obedience which in Indonesian society develop as a myth of household resilience, but these images are not positively correlated with marital life and adherence to marital norms. , such as norms regarding marriage registration, polygamy procedures, rights and obligations of husband and wife, and parental responsibilities towards children. In fact, this film does not provide a good marriage law education for Muslims in Indonesia. However, this article is limited to looking at the implementation and violations of marital norms in the context of individual behavior. Further research is needed on aspects of legal culture in order to get a more complete picture.

Concern for humanitarian and health issues, several parties including NU and Muhammadiyah were involved in handling the pandemic. Organizing the community in several aspects, such as appeals in mosques, appeals to educational institutions and Islamic boarding schools, appeals for health protocols, and appeals for vaccinations. Muhammadiyah instructs that educational activities at all levels are aligned with government policies which are coordinated through the relevant assemblies. Through NU Care-Laziznu, they carried out a movement to help the poor or residents affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. NU formed a covid task force to mobilize NU residents to help residents affected by COVID-19. NU as a student movement organization, is actively involved in the struggle of the Indonesian nation. Islam Nusantara and Islam Berkejuan are the first, emphasizing locality with Islam, while the second focuses on globalization. Through the movement in Islamic boarding schools, NU as a space for religious studies (educational function), dialogue with local culture (socio-cultural function) and training on problems in society (socio-political function). Tajdid initiated by Muhammadiyah is to put a solid religious view in the building of faith based on the Al-Quran and As-Sunnah and develop it for a progressive and civilized life. In its acceptance of ijtihad, the tarjih assembly is based on three main points, namely: 1) ijtihad bayani (explaining the mujmal texts of the Qur'an and Hadith); 2) ijtihad qiyasi (stipulating legal provisions that do not exist in the Al-Quran and Hadith; 3) ijtihad istishlahi (stipulating laws that do not have texts specifically based on illat).

This article explores one of the Tablighi Jamaat (TJ) teachings self-islah that develops in its dawah practices. Self-Islah emphasizes improving oneself through a proselytization program called khuruj from one community to another, from one mosque to another. All this time, dawah was used as a medium to improve and correct others by Muslim priest (da’i) without being directly involved in the practice of islah. The phenomenon of JT dawah shows a different approach and pattern where da’i play dual roles not only as subject (preachers) but also as an object (listeners) during that khuruj program. Self-islah in this context includes strengthening faith, morals, and gender awareness. The gender aspect is strong external critics of JT religious tradition where it does not involve women in their religious activities and even avoids interacting with them. Thus, TJ members must handle all the needs while staying in the mosque for religious camps, such as washing clothes, cooking, washing dishes, and serving guests from the local and international community. The article will investigate changes in gender relations within the JT family in the post-khuruj program. This article also focuses on the economic challenges faced by Tablighi members when they go out of preaching (khuruj), especially those from the lower-middle class. They struggle to fulfill the needs during dawah and the family's needs who left at home, especially for long periods such as 40 days, three months, and one year.

The behavior and habits of residents in disposing of waste by not distinguishing between recyclable and nonrecyclable waste can lead to new problems. This paper is the result of community service to increase public knowledge about environmental cleanliness in Singkawang City. The author sees the need for efforts to increase this insight through action or by providing information about behavior in disposing of waste in temporary landfills so that the problem of minimal waste can be reduced. Kegiatan is done by the method of socialization and is part of qualitative methods. Collecting data through a closed questionnaire which in this questionnaire has presented answers in such a way, so that respondents are asked to choose an answer that suits their characteristics by giving a cross or a checklist. The question-and-answer method is also used, this method makes the activity more interesting because of interactions such as explaining and followed by a question and answer session between the officers, the community who are on-site, and the presenter. It is also hoped that this can add to the national insight of the participants who receive socialization about Disposing of Garbage in Temporary Garbage Shelters in Singkawang City.
