Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of halal certification on economic aspects by increasing the income of MSME actors in Kedawung village. The choice of location is in Kedawung village because it is directly adjacent to the Batang Integrated Industrial Estate. This research uses the Participatory method with a Participatory Rural Appraisal approach involving the active role of 25 MSME actors in Kedawung village, Batang Regency. The construct of this research was carried out in three stages, planning, implementing, and evaluating sustainable activities. Data collection techniques in this study were through observation, interviews, documentation studies, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), and literature studies. The results of this study show that; 1) Kedawung Village has the potential for people-based economic growth through MSMEs; 2) Halal certification can be a factor in increasing the income of MSME actors and providing trust to consumers who care about the halal aspects of food; 3) The Batang city government responded the existence of the Integrated Industrial Estate by creating an MSME Corner facilitated with halal certification and product digitalization. This research has implications for the benefits of halal certification for economic growth and sustainable development of halal tourism.

Abstract

This study aims to see how the Jombang women's social movement minimizes discrimination in public spaces and the form of women's social movement practices through the Berlian Jombang Women's School. This research was conducted in Tambakrejo Village, Jombang. The background of this research problem by women's issues in Jombang Regency based on data from the Office for Population Control for Family Planning, Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (DPPKB PPPA) there were 145 cases in 2019, 2020 there were 142 cases, in 2021 there were 103, the cases involved women and children in the district Jombang has experienced discrimination in public spaces, including Domestic Violence (KDRT), Violence against Children (KTA), sexual harassment, extramarital affairs, incest, intimidation, trafficking, rape, and others. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a case study approach. This type of research data comes from primary data where the data is obtained directly in the field. At the same time, secondary data comes from literature and official archives. The results of this study indicate that the form of the Jombang women's social movement within the Berlian Women's School provides a change in awareness and benefits for female school members. Such as being given entrepreneurship training, participating in socialization on gender mainstreaming, participating in comparative studies with other girls' schools, participating in cadre training in handling cases, being given parenting material, and being given an understanding of how to organize. From these several forms of practice, it shows that members of the Berlian Women's School take collective action with the aim of increasing understanding and also awareness of women in Jombang Regency.

Abstract

The People's Defenders National Movement (GNPR) held the 411 Action to demand President Jokowi step down from his position. Even though the action was in the name of defending the people, it contained the practice of Muslim identity politics. This Muslim identity can be exploited by the media to reap benefits from the audience. The theory in this research is propaganda and commodification. The purpose of this study is to analyze Tribunnews' efforts to make a profit in the context of political economy. This study uses qualitative methods through semiotic analysis of Rolland Barthes. The results of this study see that Muslim identities tend to be displayed in Tribunnews live reports. Setting the point of view of the journalist's camera makes Muslim identity a spectacle material to be used as a commodity material. In addition, the selection of action images also strengthened the propaganda message of the demonstration. There are various signs displayed in the live report, such as white cloth clothes, caps, and other clothes that symbolize Islamic religious identity. In addition to commodification, there are propaganda practices carried out through this media. Propaganda practices are carried out to build a position between the protagonist and antagonist through broadcasts on Youtube.

Abstract

The rapid development of the digital world began to penetrate into almost all areas of people's lives to bring various issues and cases around digital society which later developed into a cyberculture. Cyber culture itself is inseparable from human behavior towards technology both in the social, economic, and lifestyle fields. The use of media access makes it easier to form information and social telecommunications such as content on Instagram accounts. It is undeniable that easy access also causes a lot of addiction, moral degradation, deviation and various other things. The suitability of content as an external factor will filter the human mind internally and will produce appropriate behaviors if implemented. Although each content has its own characteristics and intentions in its creation, it is inseparable from content related to religion and family if managed properly, it becomes a good reflection or example. This study wants to examine (1) The clustering of these media accounts when viewed from the current era, and (2) Looking at the new religious identities that emerge from the family's media content. This research is a type of content analysis that is carried out systematically by looking at the content of written or printed information in mass media. Data collection is carried out by observation and documentation. Meanwhile, the analysis was carried out using qualitative descriptive analysis by looking at field data and also the appropriate theory in this study. The results of this study describe the typology on family media accounts on Instagram. Then also a new religious identity in the scope of the public sphere, namely knowledge sharing and Muslim consumerism.

Abstract

The existence of the Tuan Guru Tomb and the Loning Mosque to become religious educational tourism is very important and has the potential to be developed. However, managers have not been able to carry out the development of these tourist attractions properly due to a lack of knowledge of resource management. This study aims to analyze the performance problems of managing religious education tourism in Loning Village, Kemiri District, Purworejo Regency. This was done for 45 days in Loning Village. This study uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques of observation, interviews and documentation. The collected data is tested by the settlement method when collecting data. The results of this study indicate that human resource management (HR) assistance can help overcome the problems of managing religious educational tourism at the Tuan Guru Loning Tomb and Mosque in Loning Village. Managers of religious education tourism in Loning Village can understand and implement optimal and optimal management of the resources incorporated in it.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to get detailed answers to the differences between consumption concepts fromconventional and Islamic perspectives. Face to face comparison is believed to provide a complete picture of thedifferences in these two perspectives. The method used to answer the above problems is by qualitativemethods, precisely the method of literature. The results of the in-depth study show that there are veryessential differences between the concepts of consumption according to conventional and Islamic perspectives.The difference is not only in values, principles, but also in the application of daily application. This researchgives a new perpective in the scientific repertoire of consumption concepts according to Islam because it is ableto present differences face to face to get clarity on a phenomenon.

Abstract

Living creatures produce waste everyday. Its management must be taken seriously from now or else it can be national disaster. Government needs other parties to hand in hand handling waste problem. As an institution with a community service duty, IAIN Pekalongan views waste management to be part of its responsibilities. Using participative action research with participative observation, interview, documentation, and focus group discussion as data collection instruments, a planned action was set up. A team of community service of IAIN Pekalongan along with members of community performed a mentoring program to optimalize the waste bank, Berkah Mulya, through delevoping a Shared Community Business Group (KUMB), which comprises to several KSM. Through trainings, facilitation, mentoring, and consultation, KUMB and KSM have well developed. The products resulted from these activities are handycrafts made from household waste, optimalization of yard, and diversification of tofu waste. RW01 Desa Babalanlor through this program has become a pioneer of tour destination of educative village Kampung Tahu Ramah Lingkungan.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the experiential marketing strategy for the development of experienceand to maintain the customer experience in Amana Tour & Travel Yogyakarta. Marketing a productessentially needs to know the sustainability and durability of the products on the market. Considering theubiquitous umroh service providers, strategies are needed to win the competition in a healthy manner. Inaddition, this strategy is used to be able to present a good experience in the customer's mind and is certainlyable to maintain and enhance the experience. After conducting research, it can be seen that the experientialmarketing strategy at Amana Tour & Travel Yogyakarta in general is to change the negative stigma of theUmrah travel agency that currently exists. This is done by Amana Tour & Travel through 3 ways whichare building good and strong brand architecture, presenting and maintaining a good customer experience,and bridging the presence of customer experience using experience providers. For building customerexperience and maintaining strategies, Amana Tour & Travel applies the principle of a flowing system.This principle emphasizes the ease and comfort of customers in a variety of services both when registeringthemselves, when on pilgrimage, and upon arrival in Indonesia. Amana Tour & Travel also implements afamilial system with the congregation by communicating as well as possible, one of which is by holdingreligious studies that also involve the wider community.

Abstract

This research aims to find the empowerment of women through dakwah strategy of Jamiyah Annajah atTanjungkarang Jati Kudus. The focus of the problem is 1). Perception of women's empowerment, 2).Da'wah strategies used for fostering ukhuwah islamiyah, 3). The results of women's empowerment.Qualitative research methods by collecting data using observation, interviews, and documentation. Dataanalysis techniques using the model of Miles and Huberman. The results of the study showed that: 1)women's empowerment is an effort to provide opportunities for women to be able to develop their potential,abilities, and skills so that they are more advanced and utilized for the family and society at large, 2). Theda'wah strategy is carried out by the Annajah jamiyah management in Tanjungkarang Jati Kudus throughvarious activities in the education, social and economic fields. First, empowering the education sector, namelythe reading of Yasin and Tahlil, al Barjanzi and Yasin Fadilah, tahtimul quran, commemoration ofIslamic holidays (Maulid of the Prophet, Isro 'Mi'roj), parenting and health education, religious tourism;the second is empowerment in the social field, namely quarterly meetings for the management of jamiyah,takziyah and tahlil in the families of jamiyah members for 3 days, donors every month at the Al-Karimmosque in Tanjungkarang village, donors every month in the construction of Muslimat KB and TKTholibin Tanjungkarang, visit members jamiyah Annajah who was sick and social services for floodvictims in Tanjungkarang village in 2014; thirdly, empowerment in the economic sector, namely makingcalendars at the end of the year, distributing zakat fitrah to the poor and orphans once a year, and donorsevery month for orphan compensation. 3) The results of empowerment in the form of increasing awareness ofreligious knowledge for life, increasing solidarity for others namely ukhuwah islamiyah.

Abstract

This article is a study of the use of religious symbols on social media that the authors associate with theconcept of religious identity. This study targets some dakwah content that has become a trend in social mediasuch as Facebook, WhatsApp and Twitter. The author uses a phenomenological approach as a basis forconducting social analysis, so that the phenomenon of the rise of the use of religious symbols on social mediacan be manifested well. The result of this study confirm about the indication of the use of religious symbolsas an imaging tool from among literalists. Some content also indicates the existence of economic motives inthe use of these symbols. I see the phenomenon is part of the symbolic expressions of certain groups inportraying their godly identity through social media
