Abstract

Self-Efficacy is one of the factors that support the success of students in participating in the lecture process, but this is not paid much attention to, causing students to experience low grades and have not been able to develop themselves. This study was conducted to see the achievement self-efficacy of students who offer space analytic geometry courses and the achievement of the dimensions self-efficacy of students who offer space analytic geometry courses. The purpose of this study was to determine the achievement self-efficacy dimensions self-efficacy in learning space analytic geometry. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative and qualitative research. The subjects of this study consisted of 62 students for the 2020/2021 academic year who were selected from high, medium, and low ability levels. From the results of data analysis, it was found that: (1) the achievement of self-efficacy in learning space analytic geometry was included in the medium category, and (2) the achievement of each dimension of self-efficacy in learning space analytic geometry was also included in the medium category.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve the Habits of mind of students through the problem-based learning (PBL) model based on the otetic assessment of mathematics learning. The study was conducted on 39 students of class X. The research method used was an pre-experiment method. with One group pretest-posttest design. Data analysis carried out was Normality Test, Homogeneity Test, t Test, and N gain Test. The results of this study indicate that the application of authentic assessment-oriented PBL method can improve students' habit of mind in mathematics learning. This can be seen from the increasing results of assessment of creative thinking, and student self-regulated. the results of the creative thinking assessment are N-Gain values of 0.47 or included in the medium criteria and the results of the hypothesis test state that the significance is smaller than the reference sig it can be said that there are significant differences between the pretest and posttest values. The results of the assessment of self regulation, show the value of N gain 0.59 in the medium category so that it is said there is an increase between the value of the pretet results and the value of the posttest results.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' understanding of mathematical concepts by applying augmented reality-based flat-sided wake-up cards media at SMP 10 Sungai Kakap. Experimental research with a quantitative approach was chosen as the method in this study. The instrument used was a description test in the form of pre-test and post-test with a population of 8th graders at SMP 10 Sungai Kakap, Kabupaten Kubu Raya, West Kalimantan which consisted of 2 classes. The research subjects were students of grade 8 B which consisted of 30 students who were selected by cluster random sampling. The data were analyzed using the paired data class t-test. The results showed that students' understanding of mathematical concepts increased after applying mathematics learning using augmented reality-based flat space card media.

Abstract

The aim of this study was focuses on the analysis of international publications related to critical thinking skills in education including the number of publications and how they trend, the distribution of study countries, study types, study subjects, critical thinking linkages that arise from published publications. analyzed, data collection instruments, data analysis and results of study on these publications.  the most distribution of data related to critical thinking skills in 2021 with the distribution of countries namely Indonesia, USA, Iran, Malaysia, Turkey, UAE and the most publications obtained by Indonesia. The most common type of study is qualitative study, followed by quantitative study and then study and development. The study subjects used in the article are quite spread out from early childhood, elementary school students, junior high school students, high school students, university students, teachers to the books used. Most of the study trends discussed here relate to teacher pedagogical competence, problem solving, achievement, creative thinking, peer shared intervention and communication skills as a form of cooperation in 21st century skills. Test instruments are used the most, then questionnaires, interviews, continued questionnaire and observation guide, systematic literature review and finally book scoring. data analysis using percentage is the most, data analysis with descriptions then t test and ANOVA.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine which domain of school climate best influences mathematical dispositions of Grade 10 students. Universal sampling technique was used in this study wherein 118 Grade 10 students from the private secondary schools in Barangay Ilang, Davao City, were chosen as the participants. By utilizing a non-experimental quantitative research design, specifically, correlational technique, through the use of a validated questionnaire, mean, Pearson r and regression techniques, it was revealed that the level of school climate of the private secondary schools were high. In the same way, the level of the mathematical dispositions of the Grade 10 students was also high. In addition, it was found out that school climate and mathe-matical dispositions of the students were significantly and positively related with an r-value of 0.490 and p-value less than 0.05. Findings further revealed that among the four domains of school climate, it was expectations that best influenced the dispositions of the students towards mathematics.

This study aims to produce learning media products based on Macromedia Flash 8 mathematics on the material similarity and congruence for grade IX junior high school students. This research refers to the development of ADDIE which includes five stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The instruments used are media validation sheets and student response questionnaires. The data collection technique used is validity data by 3 validators consisting of 2 Lecturers of Mathematics Education and 1 Mathematics Teacher. The data analysis technique used is the analysis of the validity and practicality of the learning media. The results of the analysis of the average validity of learning media are 86.57% with very valid criteria, while the average practicality of learning me-dia is 89.53% with very practical criteria. Based on the results of research and development, it can be concluded that the learning media developed is suitable for use in learning mathematics.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze students' psychological dispositions about student learning anxiety and happiness on the level of education. Elementary school, Junior high school and Senior High School students in the city of Cirebon were the subjects in this study. Mixed methods research with a sequential transformative strategy model was chosen to answer the problem of this research. Through a stratified random sampling technique, two types of research data were obtained; quantitative and qualitative data. Both of these data were analyzed by two data analysis techniques. Quantitative data analysis used is chi-square and contingency correlation, while qualitative data analysis uses triangulation of data sources. The results showed that there were differences in the level of mathematics anxiety and learning happiness of students at each level of education. Senior High School students have a high level of math anxiety when compared to elementary and Junior high school students. While in terms of happiness learn, students the elementary school is happier learning when compared to the other two types of students. This condition is also strengthened by the existence of a significant relationship between mathematics anxiety and happiness learn student with the level of education

Abstract

This study aims to develop inquiry-based worksheets on the material area and volume of cylinder shapes that are valid, feasible, effective, and improve learning outcomes. This research is a research and development (RD) using the ADDIE model, which consists of 5 stages: the Analysis, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate stages. Subjects in the study were grade VI students of SD Negeri 2 Bengkulu City. The research instrument used a validation sheet, a teacher and student response questionnaire, and a question test sheet. The research data were then analyzed using descriptive analysis. The results showed that the inquiry-based LKPD products that had been developed and assessed by expert validators were in the very valid category with an average percentage of 94.79%; the teacher's response to the guided inquiry-based LKPD obtained a percentage of 80.0% with appropriate categories or criteria, and student responses to guided inquiry-based LKPD received a percentage of 74.62% in the appropriate category and an effective level of 80.95% in the effective category. Thus, it can be concluded that the inquiry-based students' worksheets on the cylinder shapes developed are very valid, feasible, effective, and can improve student learning outcomes to be used as supporting teaching materials in the learning process. Finally, these inquiry-based student worksheets are expected to be used as a basic framework for developing students' worksheets for other materials.
