Abstract

The existence of a free market increases the level of competition between countries because non-tariff barriers are reduced. This phenomenon is a serious concern amidst the issue of liberalization and international economic integration because each country has the same interest in gaining maximum benefit from open market access. This study uses a modified or developed gravity equation model (extended gravity model) to analyze the effect of economic openness on the flow of Indonesian spice export trade to the United States. This study reveals how the openness of the United States economy significantly affects the flow of Indonesian spice trade, both in the short and long term. With the strengthening of bilateral relations between the two countries, Indonesia has the opportunity to optimize spice exports and facilitate trade negotiations in the international market.

Abstract

The hospitality industry relies heavily on the quality of its human resources to deliver excellent service and maintain customer satisfaction. Employee performance is one of the primary determinants of organizational success, while work discipline serves as a fundamental factor influencing employees' ability to perform effectively. This study aims to analyze the effect of work discipline on employee performance at Sadara Resort. A quantitative research approach was employed using a simple linear regression model. Data were collected from 84 employees representing eleven operational departments through structured questionnaires. Prior to hypothesis testing, the research instruments were examined using validity and reliability tests. The findings indicate that all questionnaire items were valid, with correlation coefficients ranging from 0.816 to 0.913, while both variables demonstrated excellent reliability with Cronbach's Alpha values of 0.947. Descriptive analysis revealed that work discipline achieved a mean score of 3.74 and employee performance obtained a mean score of 3.50, both categorized as good. The hypothesis testing results showed that work discipline has a positive and statistically significant effect on employee performance (t = 13.152; p < 0.001). Furthermore, the coefficient of determination (R² = 0.678) indicates that work discipline explains 67.8% of the variation in employee performance, while the remaining 32.2% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. The findings support Goal Setting Theory, suggesting that employees who consistently comply with organizational rules, demonstrate responsibility, and effectively manage their working time tend to achieve higher levels of performance. The study recommends strengthening supervisory practices, reinforcing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), conducting regular employee briefings, and improving time management to further enhance employee performance and service quality in the hospitality industry.

Abstract

Improving purchase decisions in the hospitality sector is very important, so it is necessary to know the factors that affect it, several factors that can affect purchase decisions in this digital era include online customer reviews and influencer marketing, therefore this study aims to find out the influence of online customer reviews and influencer marketing for purchase decisions at the Cicada Resort Bali Ubud hotel, Autograph Collection, which is located in Gianyar Regency, Bali. This study uses a quantitative approach involving 90 respondents with an age range of >21 years - 50 years who come from Indonesia and outside Indonesia and are guests who have stayed at Cicada Resort Bali Ubud, Autograph Collection which was selected using purposive sampling techniques and analyzed by multiple linear regression data analysis techniques processed using the SPSS application version 27. From this study, it was found that online customer reviews and influencer marketing have a positive and significant influence on purchase decisions at Cicada Resort Bali Ubud, Autograph Collection with online customer reviews and influencer marketing contributed 65.6% simultaneously to purchase decisions, and partially Online customer reviews have a contribution of 50.44% and influencer marketing of 15.16%, which confirms the importance of online customer reviews and influencer marketing in improving purchase decisions at Cicada Resort Bali Ubud, Autograph Collection.

Abstract

This research demonstrates the importance of identifying and developing food crop agribusiness, particularly lowland rice, in Indonesia and Malaysia. It is hoped that this research will formulate a model for developing food crop agribusiness in Indonesia and Malaysia. The research subjects were 60 respondents of rice paddy farmers consisting of 30 respondents of rice paddy farmers in Indonesia and 30 respondents of rice paddy farmers in Malaysia and registered in farmer groups, which became the object of research, namely the appropriate strategies and models in developing food crop agribusiness. Data Analysis Method To analyze the problems studied using descriptive analysis, namely providing clear and in-depth problem information interpreted according to the results of the research conducted based on theoretical support related to the research object to measure farmer perceptions by analyzing using the Likert scale method. Farmer groups in the research area not only serve as a forum for improving the quality and quantity of production, but also as a channel for introducing the latest technology, expanding market access, and improving farmer welfare through collective marketing and economic empowerment. From the Index Score obtained, there is a comparison of agricultural institutional models between Indonesia and Malaysia. From the benchmark of farmer group institutional activity, the farming subsystem (on-farm), Indonesia is higher than Malaysia. From the benchmark of production facility subsystem (Upstream), marketing & processing system (Downstream), supporting service subsystem, Malaysia is higher than Indonesia, while inhibiting factors and potential for farmer institutional development between Indonesia and Malaysia still need to be improved again so that farmers are more prosperous. In general, Malaysian agricultural institutions are more supportive in the development of food crop agribusiness than Indonesia with a score difference of 3.9%. With an index score of 73.4% higher than Indonesia's 69.5%, it shows the adoption of agricultural technology and more equitable irrigation infrastructure that ensures a more stable water supply, so that the average yield per hectare is maximized. Higher levels of use of modern agricultural mechanization (such as combine harvesters and monitoring drones) and large-scale commercial land management are more dominant in Malaysia. Abstract

This study examines the effects of entrepreneurial orientation and strategic networks on the sustainability of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Bogor. A quantitative explanatory research design was employed using data collected from 130 MSME owners and managers selected through purposive sampling. The research instrument consisted of a structured questionnaire measured using a five-point Likert scale. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 25 through descriptive statistics, validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, partial t-tests, an F-test, and the coefficient of determination. The results show that entrepreneurial orientation has a positive and significant effect on MSME sustainability. Strategic networks also have a positive and significant effect on MSME sustainability Simultaneously, entrepreneurial orientation and strategic networks significantly affect MSME sustainability, as indicated by an F-value of 122.467 and a significance value below 0.001. The coefficient of determination of 0.658 indicates that 65.8% of the variation in MSME sustainability is explained by entrepreneurial orientation and strategic networks, while the remaining 34.2% is influenced by other factors outside the research model. These findings demonstrate that MSME sustainability depends on the integration of internal entrepreneurial capabilities and external relational resources. MSME owners should strengthen innovation, proactive behavior, calculated risk-taking, and strategic collaboration with relevant stakeholders to improve long-term business resilience and competitiveness.

Abstract

The rapid growth of equity crowdfunding in Indonesia has introduced new opportunities for public participation in investment activities while simultaneously creating challenges related to information uncertainty, investor vulnerability, and trust formation. Unlike conventional investment markets, equity crowdfunding involves greater information asymmetry because investors often evaluate privately held businesses with limited operational history and incomplete information. Therefore, mechanisms that enhance information transparency and investor protection are essential to strengthening investor confidence and supporting rational investment decisions. This study aims to examine the influence of information transparency and investor protection on investment decision-making through the mediating role of investor trust in the context of equity crowdfunding in Indonesia. This research employs a quantitative approach using survey data collected from 100 equity crowdfunding investors in Indonesia. Data were gathered through a structured questionnaire using a five-point Likert scale and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 3. The results indicate that information transparency has a positive and significant effect on investor trust, while investor protection demonstrates a stronger positive influence on investor trust. Furthermore, investor trust significantly affects investment decision-making. Information transparency and investor protection also directly influence investment decision-making, with investor trust partially mediating these relationships. The findings demonstrate that transparent information disclosure and effective protection mechanisms are critical factors in reducing uncertainty, strengthening investor confidence, and encouraging participation in equity crowdfunding markets. This study contributes to the fintech and investment behavior literature by highlighting the importance of governance mechanisms in developing a trustworthy and sustainable equity crowdfunding ecosystem in emerging markets such as Indonesia.

Abstract

The rapid transformation of digital infrastructures, cloud computing adoption, Internet of Things (IoT) expansion, and increasing cyber threats have accelerated the need for advanced cybersecurity approaches beyond traditional perimeter-based defense mechanisms. Zero Trust Security has emerged as a strategic security paradigm that emphasizes continuous verification, identity-based access control, and adaptive protection across modern computer networks. This study aims to analyze the evolution, intellectual structure, and emerging research trends of Zero Trust Security through a bibliometric mapping approach. Data were collected from a scientific database and analyzed using bibliometric techniques, including performance analysis, keyword co-occurrence analysis, citation analysis, co-authorship analysis, institutional collaboration analysis, and country collaboration mapping using VOSviewer. The findings reveal that Zero Trust Security research has experienced significant development, with network security, cybersecurity, and Zero Trust Architecture emerging as central research themes. Influential studies highlight the importance of authentication mechanisms, intrusion detection systems, blockchain integration, and secure architectures for cloud, 5G, and IoT environments. The thematic evolution indicates a shift from foundational security mechanisms toward intelligent and adaptive solutions involving machine learning, deep learning, federated learning, and privacy-preserving technologies. Collaboration analysis shows that research contributions are dominated by countries such as the United States, India, and China, while global cooperation continues to expand. This study contributes to the cybersecurity literature by providing a comprehensive overview of Zero Trust Security development and identifying future research directions toward intelligent, scalable, and resilient security frameworks for next-generation computer networks.

Abstract

Value creation has become a central concept in management, innovation, marketing, and sustainability research due to the increasing complexity of business environments and the emergence of new technological and organizational paradigms. This study aims to examine the intellectual structure, research trends, influential contributions, and future directions of value creation research through a bibliometric analysis approach. Data were collected from the Scopus database using relevant keywords related to “value creation,” and analyzed using VOSviewer to perform keyword co-occurrence analysis, citation analysis, author co-citation analysis, institutional collaboration analysis, country collaboration analysis, and thematic evolution mapping. The findings reveal that value creation research has developed through several major streams, including business model innovation, innovation capability, sustainability, value co-creation, service-dominant logic, digital transformation, and ecosystem perspectives. The citation analysis identifies business models, customer value, co-creation, and digital transformation as the most influential foundations shaping the field. Furthermore, the temporal analysis demonstrates a shift from traditional value generation perspectives toward emerging themes involving artificial intelligence, circular economy, sustainable business models, and digital ecosystems. The collaboration analysis highlights the dominant contribution of countries such as the United States, China, Germany, and other international research networks in advancing knowledge development. This study contributes by providing a comprehensive visualization of the evolution and current state of value creation research while identifying potential future research opportunities related to the integration of technology, sustainability, and collaborative ecosystems in creating multidimensional value.

Abstract

Cultural preservation has become an increasingly important research area due to growing challenges associated with globalization, environmental change, technological transformation, and the degradation of cultural heritage assets. This study aims to examine the development, intellectual structure, and emerging research trends in cultural preservation through a bibliometric analysis approach. Data were collected from a scientific database and analyzed using bibliometric techniques, including performance analysis, keyword co-occurrence analysis, citation analysis, density visualization, and collaboration network analysis. The findings reveal that cultural preservation research has developed into an interdisciplinary field connecting heritage conservation, archaeology, architecture, tourism, sustainability, and digital technologies. The keyword analysis indicates that cultural heritage and historic preservation are the dominant themes, while emerging topics such as virtual reality, three-dimensional computer graphics, photogrammetry, sustainable development, and risk assessment reflect the increasing adoption of innovative preservation strategies. Citation analysis identifies influential studies focusing on digital documentation, heritage recording, climate change impacts, and immersive heritage experiences. Furthermore, collaboration analysis demonstrates the existence of international research networks, with countries such as the United States, Italy, Spain, France, and China playing important roles in advancing cultural preservation scholarship. This study contributes to a deeper understanding of the evolution of cultural preservation research and highlights future opportunities for integrating digital innovation, sustainability principles, and collaborative approaches to strengthen global heritage protection.

Abstract

The increasing urgency to address climate change and achieve sustainable development goals has accelerated the transformation of global financial systems toward more environmentally responsible practices. Green taxonomy has emerged as an important policy and financial instrument designed to classify sustainable economic activities, improve transparency, prevent greenwashing, and facilitate the allocation of capital toward environmentally beneficial projects. This study aims to examine the intellectual structure, research trends, and development patterns of green taxonomy research within the broader field of sustainable finance through a bibliometric analysis approach. Data were collected from the Scopus database using relevant keywords associated with green taxonomy, sustainable finance, and green finance. The retrieved publications were analyzed using bibliometric techniques, including publication trend analysis, citation analysis, keyword co-occurrence mapping, density visualization, thematic evolution analysis, and collaboration network analysis using VOSviewer. The findings indicate that green taxonomy research has experienced significant growth, particularly following the emergence of sustainability regulations and climate-oriented financial frameworks. The analysis identifies sustainable finance, sustainable development, green finance, green bonds, climate finance, and EU taxonomy as the dominant research themes shaping the field. Furthermore, recent studies have increasingly focused on greenwashing prevention, sustainability reporting, transition finance, and the integration of taxonomy frameworks into financial decision-making processes. The collaboration analysis reveals that European countries, particularly Germany and other EU members, play a central role in advancing research, while emerging economies are gradually expanding their contributions. This study contributes to the sustainable finance literature by providing a comprehensive overview of the evolution of green taxonomy research and identifying future research directions related to regulatory implementation, climate risk management, and sustainable investment transformation.
