Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the implementation of the Jigsaw method as a learning management strategy and examine its contribution to improving learning quality among students in the Islamic Education Management Study Program at STIT Al Hikmah Benda Brebes. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, involving one lecturer and 18 students. Data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation during three learning meetings and analyzed using data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed progressive improvements in learning quality across student activity, learning motivation, material understanding, and learning outcomes. Evaluation performance increased from 50.0% of students demonstrating responses in the first meeting to 77.8% in the second and 94.4% in the third. The study concludes that systematically managed Jigsaw learning strengthens participation, responsibility, collaboration, confidence, and material mastery. The implication is that Jigsaw can function beyond a cooperative technique as an integrated learning management strategy for promoting active, student-centered, and quality-oriented learning in Islamic higher education.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impacts of customary conflicts on school continuity and identify adaptive educational governance strategies that support educational sustainability in conflict-affected indigenous communities. A qualitative case study approach was employed using semi-structured interviews, observations, and document analysis involving school principals, teachers, customary leaders, parents, and education officials. The data were analyzed thematically to identify patterns of educational disruption and adaptive governance practices. The findings reveal that customary conflicts disrupt educational continuity through temporary school closures, reduced teacher and student attendance, interruptions to learning activities, and limited access to educational services. In response, schools implement adaptive governance strategies through collaboration with customary leaders, community engagement, flexible academic arrangements, and crisis-response mechanisms. These strategies demonstrate the importance of locally grounded governance in maintaining educational services during conflict. The study proposes an Adaptive Educational Governance Model Based on Local Wisdom that emphasizes collaboration among schools, communities, customary institutions, and government agencies. This model provides a framework for strengthening educational resilience, maintaining school continuity, and developing context-sensitive educational policies for indigenous and conflict-affected communities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effects of electronic trust and Electronic Customer Relationship Management (E-CRM) on customer loyalty through customer satisfaction among Generation Z Shopee users. This study employed a quantitative approach with a causal associative survey design. Data were collected through an online questionnaire using a five-point Likert scale from 217 Generation Z respondents who had made purchases on Shopee within the previous six months. The respondents were selected using non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling technique. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4. The results indicate that electronic trust and E-CRM have positive and significant effects on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. Customer satisfaction also has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. Furthermore, customer satisfaction significantly mediates the effects of electronic trust and E-CRM on customer loyalty. These findings imply that strengthening transaction security, improving digital service quality, and implementing effective customer relationship management can enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty among Generation Z users. The findings provide practical insights for e-commerce platforms in developing strategies to build trust, strengthen customer relationships, and foster long-term customer loyalty.

Abstract

This study aims to examine market reactions to rights issue announcements among conventional banking companies by assessing changes in abnormal returns, trading volume activity, and stock return volatility before and after the announcements. A quantitative event study design was employed using secondary data from 26 conventional banking issuers that announced rights issues during 2020–2024. An 11-trading-day event window, covering five days before and five days after the announcement date, was applied. Market reactions were measured using abnormal return, trading volume activity, and stock return volatility. Because the data did not satisfy the normality assumption, the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test was used to examine differences between the pre- and post-announcement periods. The findings indicate significant differences in abnormal return, trading volume activity, and stock return volatility following rights issue announcements. The results demonstrate that rights issue information generates measurable changes in investor responses, reflected in changes in returns, trading intensity, and stock price fluctuations. The findings provide practical insights for investors in evaluating rights issue announcements as relevant information for investment decisions. The study also contributes to the literature by integrating return, trading activity, and volatility indicators within an event-study framework.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effects of training and trainer competence on member performance. A quantitative approach using a survey method was employed. The population consisted of 57 members, all of whom were selected as the sample using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression with IBM SPSS Statistics version 27. The results indicate that training has no significant effect on member performance, as shown by a t-value of 0.766, lower than the t-table value of 2.005, with a significance level of 0.448 (>0.05). In contrast, trainer competence has a positive and significant effect, with a t-value of 3.889 and a significance level of 0.001 (<0.05). Simultaneously, training and trainer competence significantly affect member performance, with an F-value of 27.323 and significance <0.001. Trainer competence has the stronger influence. The Adjusted R-square of 0.534 indicates that 53.4% of the variance in member performance is explained by the two variables. These findings imply that improving trainer competence should be prioritized to enhance member performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the reorientation of the pesantren fiqh curriculum to address contemporary religious issues encountered by Generation Z while maintaining the foundations of classical Islamic jurisprudence. A qualitative approach with a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) design was employed. Relevant literature published primarily from 2019–2026 was identified, examined, compared, and synthesized using thematic analysis through data condensation, data display, and data verification. The findings indicate that the reorientation of fiqh education requires integration of classical fiqh, usul al-fiqh, qawāʿid fiqhiyyah, and maqāṣid al-sharīʿah with contemporary religious issues, digital religious literacy, and contextual learning. The study identifies digital transactions, social-media ethics, fragmented religious information, changing religious authority, religious polarization, technological development, and identity formation as important areas for curriculum contextualization. The study proposes a conceptual framework that positions classical fiqh as the foundation, Islamic legal methodology as the analytical framework, Generation Z issues as the contextual basis, and contextual learning as the curricular orientation. This framework can support pesantren in developing fiqh education that is more analytical, relevant, digitally aware, and responsive while preserving its Islamic scholarly tradition.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the level of madrasah principal leadership, determine the level of teacher performance, and examine the influence of principal leadership on teacher performance. A quantitative approach with a descriptive-associative design was employed. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire administered to 49 teachers using a saturated sampling technique. Data analysis included descriptive statistics, validity and reliability testing, normality testing, simple linear regression, t-test hypothesis testing, and coefficient of determination analysis. The findings indicate that madrasah principal leadership was categorized as high, with a mean score of 3.77, while teacher performance was also categorized as high, with a mean score of 4.00. Simple linear regression showed a positive and statistically significant influence of principal leadership on teacher performance (B = 0.532, t = 6.479, p < 0.001). The coefficient of determination (R² = 0.472) indicates that principal leadership explained 47.2% of the variance in teacher performance, while 52.8% was attributable to other factors. These findings imply that strengthening principal leadership, particularly through responsibility, exemplary conduct, and staff empowerment, can serve as an important pathway for improving teacher performance and supporting educational quality.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effects of store atmosphere and price discount on repurchase intention, both directly and indirectly through customer satisfaction as a mediating variable. This research employed a quantitative approach by collecting data through questionnaires from 150 respondents. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) to test the proposed relationships among variables. The results indicate that store atmosphere and price discount have significant effects on repurchase intention. Furthermore, customer satisfaction plays a significant mediating role in strengthening the relationship between store atmosphere, price discount, and repurchase intention. The findings highlight that an attractive shopping environment and competitive pricing strategies are essential factors in enhancing customer satisfaction and encouraging repeat purchases. This study implies that retailers should prioritize improvements in store atmosphere and value-based promotional strategies to build long-term customer loyalty and increase repurchase intention.
