Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of POACE (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, Controlling, and Evaluating) and SWOT analysis in improving the effectiveness of School-Based Management (SBM) at an Islamic vocational school. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed using observations, semi-structured interviews, documentation, and data triangulation to ensure the credibility of the findings. Data were analyzed through the interactive model of data condensation, data display, conclusion drawing, and verification. The findings reveal that the school has successfully established a strong Islamic culture, effective organizational governance, structured disciplinary practices, and integrated extracurricular and vocational programs that support institutional effectiveness. However, challenges remain in implementing data-driven planning, strengthening industry partnerships, enhancing teacher professional competence, expanding Teaching Factory programs, and developing performance-based evaluation systems. The study concludes that integrating POACE with SWOT provides a comprehensive strategic management framework that strengthens School-Based Management through systematic planning and continuous improvement. The findings offer both theoretical contributions to educational management literature and practical guidance for vocational schools seeking sustainable institutional quality improvement through evidence-based management.

Abstract

This study aims to synthesize the existing literature on the role of the Service Marketing Mix (7P) in influencing customer satisfaction and customer loyalty within service industries. A qualitative research design employing a literature review approach was adopted to critically analyze and integrate findings from peer-reviewed journal articles, academic books, and other scholarly publications related to marketing management. The collected literature was systematically examined through data condensation, data display, and conclusion verification to identify conceptual patterns and relationships among the research variables. The findings indicate that all seven dimensions of the Service Marketing Mix—Product, Price, Place, Promotion, People, Process, and Physical Evidence—contribute to customer satisfaction, although their relative influence varies across service contexts. Among these dimensions, People and Process consistently emerge as the most influential factors due to their direct impact on service delivery and customer experience. Furthermore, the review confirms that customer satisfaction functions as a key mediating mechanism linking the implementation of the Service Marketing Mix to customer loyalty. The study contributes to marketing literature by providing an integrated conceptual framework that enhances the theoretical understanding of service marketing and offers practical guidance for designing sustainable customer loyalty strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effects of communication, work discipline, and work environment on employee performance in the coffee shop industry. The research was conducted to provide empirical evidence regarding organizational factors that contribute to improving employee effectiveness in service-based businesses. A quantitative research approach with a survey method was employed. Data were collected from 136 coffee shop employees selected using purposive sampling. The collected data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS 4 software to evaluate the relationships among the proposed variables. The results indicate that communication has a positive and significant effect on employee performance (β = 0.361, p = 0.001). Work discipline also has a positive and significant effect (β = 0.430, p < 0.001) and represents the strongest predictor among the examined factors. Additionally, the work environment positively influences employee performance (β = 0.140, p = 0.012). The research model explains 64.0% of the variance in employee performance (R² = 0.640). These findings imply that coffee shop managers should prioritize effective communication systems, strengthen employee discipline, and maintain supportive workplace conditions to enhance performance and organizational competitiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effects of financial literacy and financial inclusion on e-wallet use and their implications for MSME financial behavior, while assessing the strategic role of e-wallet adoption in translating financial capabilities into financial practices. A quantitative cross-sectional survey was conducted with 210 MSME respondents selected using stratified proportional random sampling. Primary data were collected through a five-point Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS. All proposed hypotheses were supported. Financial literacy (β = 0.462; t = 9.582; p < 0.001) and financial inclusion (β = 0.429; t = 8.527; p < 0.001) positively and significantly influenced e-wallet use. E-wallet use had the strongest effect on MSME financial behavior (β = 0.599; t = 12.871; p < 0.001). Financial literacy (β = 0.141) and financial inclusion (β = 0.246) also significantly affected financial behavior. The findings highlight e-wallet adoption as a strategic mechanism for translating financial capabilities into better MSME financial behavior. Therefore, financial literacy initiatives should be integrated with practical digital financial technology adoption to strengthen MSME financial management.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effects of transformational leadership and organizational culture on employee performance through the mediating role of job satisfaction among employees in the Supporting Healthcare Services Unit of RSUD Sleman. A quantitative explanatory research design was employed using a census sampling technique involving 47 employees, with 46 valid responses analyzed. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS 4. The findings reveal that transformational leadership and organizational culture significantly improve job satisfaction. However, neither transformational leadership nor organizational culture has a significant direct effect on employee performance. Furthermore, job satisfaction does not significantly influence employee performance and fails to mediate the relationships between the independent variables and employee performance. These findings indicate that employee performance in supporting healthcare services is influenced by factors beyond leadership, organizational culture, and job satisfaction. The study extends Stewardship Theory and provides practical insights for strengthening competency development, performance evaluation systems, and organizational effectiveness in public hospitals.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how integrated human resource management contributes to sustainable educational performance through an input-process-output-outcome framework. Educational quality depends on institutions’ capacity to develop professional and committed personnel. However, HRM practices in education are often fragmented and administratively oriented. This research employed a qualitative approach using library research. Data from journals, books, proceedings, reports, and policy documents were collected through searching, screening, and organizing, then analyzed using content and thematic analysis. The findings show that human resource planning is the foundation for aligning institutional needs and competencies. Competency-based recruitment improves educator quality, organizational stability, and learning effectiveness. Continuous professional development strengthens pedagogical, technological, adaptive, and collaborative capacities. Objective performance appraisal supports accountability and targeted development. Motivation, rewards, and welfare sustain commitment, creativity, satisfaction, and professional stability. Integrated HRM practices generate improved learning quality, educator productivity, academic achievement, graduate competence, institutional reputation, competitiveness, and stakeholder satisfaction. The study contributes an integrative HRM-Educational Performance model that connects inputs, management processes, outputs, and long-term outcomes. Educational institutions should implement data-based, coordinated, and continuous HRM strategies to achieve sustainable quality improvement.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effects of workload and employee engagement on turnover intention among contract employees and to explain their contribution to employees’ intention to leave the organization. A quantitative explanatory research design was employed using a survey approach. Data were collected through an online questionnaire from 100 respondents selected using simple random sampling. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS, including measurement model evaluation, structural model assessment, and bootstrapping for hypothesis testing. The results indicate that workload has a positive and significant effect on turnover intention, suggesting that excessive job demands increase employees’ intention to leave the organization. Unexpectedly, employee engagement also shows a positive and significant effect on turnover intention, indicating that among contract employees, high engagement may reflect commitment to work responsibilities rather than long-term organizational attachment. Furthermore, workload and employee engagement jointly explain a substantial proportion of the variance in turnover intention. These findings extend the application of the Job Demands–Resources perspective by demonstrating that employee engagement does not necessarily function as a retention mechanism under contractual employment conditions. Practically, organizations should balance workload while strengthening employment security and career development policies to reduce turnover intention.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the design characteristics of Realistic Educational Play Tools (APE-R) based on natural materials and to synthesize their implications for early childhood development. The study focuses on how authentic natural materials can be transformed into meaningful, contextual, and developmentally appropriate play-based learning resources. A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) was conducted by analyzing relevant scientific articles published between 2021 and 2026. Literature was identified through systematic searches of Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar using keywords related to natural materials, educational play tools, play-based learning, nature-based learning, and early childhood education. The selected studies were analyzed through qualitative thematic synthesis involving data condensation, thematic categorization, data display, and verification. The synthesis identifies five core characteristics of APE-R: authenticity, flexibility, multisensory engagement, contextuality, and sustainability. The model supports multiple developmental domains, including cognitive, language, fine- and gross-motor, social-emotional, creative, sensory, early science, early numeracy, ecological awareness, and approaches to learning. The study contributes a conceptual framework positioning APE-R as a holistic pedagogical model that integrates natural materials, open-ended play, contextual learning, teacher facilitation, and developmental objectives. The framework provides a foundation for future empirical validation and practical development of nature-based educational play resources.
